My fellow evertonians if if Gabriel Jesus is better than what we have he is not that reliable goal scorer we need and not for what he would cost I am not necessarily a fan never thought he was prolific enough that's just my personal opinion I would take a punt on Barry's former team mate and striker at his previous club.

Not very optimistic about the Palace game, we have trouble scoring against sides at the bottom of the league and Palace are a good side on a great run. However any team can win in this league so keeping my fingers crossed. I know all the arguments about keeping the Beto/ Barry combination but would like to see Moyes try something else, anything else actually. Hope that Grealish responds after being left out of the English squad by making the difference in a tight game.

Not sure any team can win the league Mike. Not in this day and age of financial restrictions favouring certain clubs.

We’ve a history of ending clubs on a run and we have a good record against Palace so I’m hoping that we get all three points tomorrow. Oh for a striker who could score! We could do with a Mateta type player like Palace have. Once we get some proper scouts in instead of using the 33rd Allerton troop, we would have a half decent side. Instead, we have Beto and Barry who are still working on their scoring badges amongst others.

We make plenty of chances and beto misses them all it's the player not tactics any hald decent striker would of scored most of the chances he's had, can't blame a manger that has little options.

Grealish has apparently created something like 17 chances but only 2 of them were for Beto and he scored 1.

Saying it’s Beto is nonsense, our strikers need service and chances being created for them and that’s not currently the case if you actually look at the stats closer.

I thought this a couple of weeks back but never posted. That Hill for Bournemouth looks a quality RB. Has only just really started getting minutes for them and is by no means a starter.

Played for Fleetwood, Hearts and Blackburn previously. 23 years old. I imagine he wouldn't cost too much.

Nothing concrete but there are certainly plenty of reasons imo. Bigger club, better fans, better stadium, better wages. Give us another summer and I think we will have a better team. If you give us a striker who can play a bit, I think we have points against West Ham, Villa and Leeds.

He also has zero competition to be starting every week for us.

Tbf BMD McNeil should be bought in on the left as he is probably the only player that could suit our strikers needs. Crosses into the box is our only hope for them to score.

To be fair, BN, it's not as if the midfield and wide men haven't been supplying the team with chances. Between them, JG, KDH and IN have created 38 chances. Not all have been for the forwards but a good portion of then have been balls into the box. It's time to try something else as our forwards are killing games for us.

Totally agree BP. Not for one second disputing our lads creative ability but our strikers don't have the ability to deal with the chances that are fashioned. My point is, maybe throwing it back a bit more old school and getting balls whipped in for headers may bring more success in terms of goals.
