Seen reports of Thierry Small possibly turning down contract and seeking move for 2st team opportunities. Any truth or just paper talk. I think the kids going to be dynamite in a few years time.

{Ed025's Note - there is a lot of speculation dentie but nothing concrete at this time mate, hes a bit frustrated i expect and is trying to propel himself forward but although i agree with you on his future he has to be a bit patient..

1.) 03 Apr 2021 09:23:02
In reports today player dismiss speculation as not old enough to sign professional contract until August and happy with progress at Everton.

14 May 2018 23:25:24
Multiple reports that Sam is to be sacked within 48 hours and replaced by Silva or Fonseca. Normally I take these things with a pinch of salt but multiple different sources reporting it. Got my fingers and toes crossed on this one.

The other week Steve Walsh and representatives went to Italy to sound out some players. Is that dead in the water now or is there still interest from us in the Italian league.

{Ed002's Note - Which players are you referring to? Duvan Zapata was certainly an option to Sandro. Bacca was considered but it won't be him now.}

1.) 09 Jul 2017 14:21:15
Not 100% on who we were after ed. I think we looked at Brozovic and Murillo too. Just asking if we still have a team over there having talks with certain individuals.

{Ed002's Note - There will be no team wandering around talking to people. I am not aware of Everton interest in either player although both are subject to interest from elsewhere.}

2.) 09 Jul 2017 14:29:35
OK cheers ed.

02 Jun 2016 23:21:50
Looks like we have signed sambou from Coventry. 18 year old striker.

1.) 03 Jun 2016 08:19:18
ha ha Dentie, he has the same smile as Lennon, welcome to the Blues Sammy.

2.) 03 Jun 2016 12:08:40
Lukaku's replacement? 😂.

18 May 2016 00:05:44
Supposedly lukaku's dad has said he will leave Everton before euros. shame but he was a reserve team striker before he came to us and West Bromwich. he ain't the only striker to put a ball in the net. i'm sure if he goes we will get an adequate replacement. wilson from Bournemouth looks good enough.

1.) 18 May 2016 00:29:17
you really think replacing Lukaku is that easy? he has scored 25 goals this season, i doubt Wilson would get anywhere near near that many.

2.) 18 May 2016 08:54:35
That's the worst part of letting him go, his play is often frustrating but he gets goals, hence the price tag getting banded around.

I don't think it will be good for the team if we keep him against his will, bad sulker. Have to see if we get a manager in who can persuade him to stay.

3.) 18 May 2016 09:05:18
Have other posters got any opinions on Rondom the forward at West Brom. Always keeps popping up with a goal.

4.) 18 May 2016 09:51:33
We don't need an odd goal striker like Rondon. Would take Bony and Berahino as replacements.

5.) 18 May 2016 09:57:21
I'm sorry but a truly world class striker would have scored way more than 25 goals based on the amount of chances Rom had and missed!

6.) 18 May 2016 12:23:47
Bluegray, you say you don't want an odd goal striker but youd be happy with Berahino?

7.) 18 May 2016 13:28:22
Was thinking of Rondom as a second striker, say to replace Kome not as main striker.

8.) 18 May 2016 18:05:33
Berahino as a second striker Lewis the lad is young and has goals in him.

We have to win tomorrow, nothing less.

20 Mar 2022 10:09:35
I've seen reports the the man who ran on pitch and tie wrapped himself to goalpost has be charged with a season ticket for next season ??.

18 Mar 2022 11:15:18
After the scenes at the game last night I've realised that that's the 1st time we have put a man on the front post from set pieces all season. Tie wrap was bit excessive mind??.

1.) 18 Mar 2022 12:32:02
Lol love that.

27 Feb 2022 09:00:20
Just a quick point about var and kavanagh. The ref wasn't advised to go check the screen. No problem with that. But I have a problem with kavanagh. Will he still get to do hus job in the var room or on pitch, or will he be downgraded to lower league like what happens to some referee's when they make a critical mistake. Total inncompatence and we could suffer this season because of that. We did not deserve to lose that game at all. Man City will be breathing a huge sigh of relief that they left with 3 points.

1.) 27 Feb 2022 10:05:08
I've been saying for years that the standards of refereeing in this country is abysmal. There is no punishment when they get stuff wrong and they clearly they don't discuss each others decisions because they have no continuity of decisions.

I know there is no proof for this but I have absolutely no doubt in my mind had that been an Everton player in our box that pen would have been given in a heart beat. And had we not been playing city, utd or Liverpool it would have been given. Not sure why but these clubs always get preferential treatment.

The FA need to start coming out and announcing when refs get things wrong and enforcing some sort of consequence. It would happen to any of us in our jobs so why shouldn't it happen to them too.

2.) 27 Feb 2022 10:33:18
Chris they should have to face the press at the end of the game. The same way managers do. Let them then explain why decision was given, at least stand behind what they are doing.

3.) 27 Feb 2022 13:11:14
The best players in the world ( most of them) have made the Premier league the best league to watch.

Surely we should br bringing in the best referees from across the world rather than employing 2nd rate home refs.

The aussie guy has come over to ref which is good thing ut there should be more.

4.) 27 Feb 2022 18:39:55
Great point that Geoff. The officiating is diabolical at times in this country and VAR was supposed to eradicate this. It hasn’t. Why not bring foreign, better referees in!

5.) 27 Feb 2022 20:29:11
It is not the ref, yes ok some refs make some bad decisions, but var has made it too easy for the ref to hide behind, linesmen are even less active now, because of var.

Make no mistake had City got the same decision over the park, Klopp would have the ref and var guy banned from future games at their place, it would have been all over the media, but that is three times now we have been shafted, the spurs game when he blew for a penalty, when Richarlison had a chance of scoring but stopped play, over ruled the penalty and bizarrely gave Spurs the ball.

Then at Newcastle when Coleman was taken out but no penalty, to add insult he fails to send Shelley off, for a horrible tackle later in the game.

Certainly been on the wrong end of decisions this season.

6.) 28 Feb 2022 08:58:53
Ever since referees turned pro the standards have got worse. As for Kavanagh there can be no excuse, a blatant display of bias/ cheating not incompetence and no way the Head of referees can explain it away. There certainly needs to be an investigation.

02 Feb 2022 11:53:08
I hope Alli is going to change the colour of the dreads from red to blue ?.

1.) 02 Feb 2022 16:47:35
Could have another Koeman situation on our hands.

2.) 02 Feb 2022 18:36:17
Think it’s salmon pink ?.

3.) 02 Feb 2022 19:04:26
Why Swan?

4.) 02 Feb 2022 19:24:10
Don't mention salmon pink! For a 14yr old in the early 90s it was not fashionable. And for a millionth time. its Orange??.

5.) 02 Feb 2022 20:01:31
?? Swan, that Christmas tree in the Koeman household didn't go down too well with some of our fans did it ?.

I watch man utd on sky before olly got sacked. He bit the bullet and brought van der beek on while chasing the game. He turned the game around. Running at defence from midfield and a clever passer of the ball. He got man utd in the front foot to salvage the game. But he's going to be rusty with hardly playing. Just a shame rafa used one of our 2 loan signings on a player who can't even get a game for villa. If available I think Dele Alli could turn out a goid player for us too. Only 25 and can score goals from midfield, which we have been lacking since Cahill left in all honesty.

Now I'm not putting them in same bracket at all but Barcelona gave pep a chance and he is doing alright. Carlo wanted to take Dunc to real so he must have something about him. Hope goodison is rocking today. Think we going to see a dogs of War performance today. i hope so too.

Every faith in them. Also another great turn out outside the ground. Hope its a new trend of ours to show anyone who pulls on our Jersey what it means to us.

Wasn't it Jack Harrison that spurs got from Leeds Sobs? I may be wrong, but still, if he's good enough, cheap enough and not going to spend his whole contract out on loan, then why not.

Isn't the majority of cup defeats we suffer to championship teams? We better not go down the or we'll not get back up.

Pauly, shouldn't every championship striker have 30-40 goals then, judging by your reckoning.

Agree about Yerry. Was a colossus yesterday. No disrespect to Seamus, but Yerry showed how a captain should be during a game. Constantly urging team on. Jumping all over pick ford for even simplest if catches. That's grit, determination, passion and the old dogs of war spirit shining through. Pick ford its the same with his g'ing up the team. Just need the rest to show same grit, determination and passion.
