Afternoon pal apparently the new German midfielder Merlin Rohl is blowing everyone away in his first training session with his new teammates they are saying Moyes is mighlthy impressed with him well that's good news introduce him into the the team not by bit let him get used to the pace and physically of the premier league bit it's encouraging news to hear so soon.

10 Sep 2025 15:57:05
Gana just got back from international football give him a rest and slot him in alongside KDH. Give Jack a free role in the centre and play Dibbers and Ndiaye out wide.

10 Sep 2025 20:01:03
I think Rohl is a box to box midfielder but has played in no10 role a few times too. Could be good rotation during a game with them 2 interchanging and giving midfielders and defenders a headache. Lads got a good frame too. 6ft 3inch I think. Let lad settle and hope for the best from him. Loan us with obligation to buy so he's basically our player after this season anyway. Best thing about this season is its world cup next year and every player is going to be busting a gut to make their national team.

10 Sep 2025 11:52:05
Iliman Ndiaye had another blinder against the Congo in the last day or two said the whole of their defence struggled to contain him we are going to have to fight tooth and nail to hang onto that lad because I am very sure if his performances improve any more the real big hitters will come calling I just hope we sell for a cracking fee when that times comes ???.

10 Sep 2025 12:16:22
Can’t see us selling him he looks like he loves it at Everton, good chance of Europe next year as well.

10 Sep 2025 12:16:57
You do know we don't need to sell players now don't you?

10 Sep 2025 12:42:24
3 games in and fantasy land beckons again. First proper test comes on Saturday, Villa are a good side.

10 Sep 2025 17:38:26
I think European football is really important in the next two years. It means you have a great chance of keeping players. We will lose players if we don't. Don't get me wrong we'll also be able to bring players in but would really like to keep Ndiaye, Jack, KDH, Dibbling, Barry for the next two years. There's a lot to get excited about with those in the squad.

10 Sep 2025 17:38:34
Hardly fantasy land is it? This season might only be 3 games old but his form at the end of last season was very good too. So much so, it was reported that Inter wanted him for a ridiculous fee.

10 Sep 2025 20:03:15
It's all well and good saying we don't have to sell players now but we all seen the Isak situation. And Wissa to that extent. Power is with players nowadays. Once they down tools they are as good as gone. Hope Ndiaye isn't like them types of player.

11 Sep 2025 06:26:19
Bluepotato. I was referring to the Europe next year comment, with only 3 games in.

11 Sep 2025 08:36:26
But we don't need to sell players. You are looking at players who wanted to move. Ndiaye appears happy at Everton so why even bring it up?

11 Sep 2025 11:07:01
DM, sorry mate, I got the wrong end of the stick there.

09 Sep 2025 16:20:09

09 Sep 2025 17:49:47
Don’t think he’ll start Rohl just yet Big C. I’d expect Tim in there with Rohl replacing him as sub for a few games just to gauge his suitability.

09 Sep 2025 21:11:51
Do we know Myko is definitely injured and out of the game?

10 Sep 2025 04:10:23
Pickford

08 Sep 2025 17:51:27
Manchester City has to decide which wrist will get slapped, left or right. That may take six months.

08 Sep 2025 20:09:58
Don't hold your breath!

09 Sep 2025 10:58:04
If city are govern a walk on their conduct, then the premier league management, must be dismissed on block, all the other clubs have the power to do this, about time we found out if they have the back bone.

{Ed025's Note - they will get a slap on the wrist AB..

09 Sep 2025 11:17:55
Everyone I know liked city more when they were in the 3rd tier of the league now there in the big league they've become a nuisance they are the equivalent of a boxer caught taking steroids something needs to be done all clubs get together and refuse to play them maybe put Bolton in there place not to far for there fake fans to travel when they jump ship.

09 Sep 2025 13:36:10
To be honest I've always been a concorde moment person. I like my sport to be unregulated and the ones with the big pockets to spend as they please. It's ruined some aspects of F1 and it ruined the last regime here and is damaging the EPL more than any benefit to stop another "Bury" eff em frankly, if we always expect our Sport to follow socialist sentiments of a small club/ team/ outfit being entitled to some of the cake then its a bit meh.

09 Sep 2025 14:14:20
Yea but if the premier league shafted us then city who didn't really exist until 2012 have to get shafted aswell other wise it's like 2 tier policing.

{Ed025's Note - its certainly that TL, but City are the golden boys of the Premiership mate and if they were demoted it would harm the brand and they wont allow that to happen..

09 Sep 2025 17:40:55
They also have unlimited funds. Mess them about (try more than a slap on the wrist) then some very powerful people will get involved. Arab money.

{Ed025's Note - exactly DMS..

09 Sep 2025 17:58:25
Guys. The reason it’s taking this long is because City are getting away with it and the PL are bricking it! They have probably moved their focus from trying to spank City to asking their lawyers how to get them out of this vacuum of impotence they find themselves in.

We’ve had our punishment whether deserved or not, nothing can get us our points back. So I’m just looking forward to seeing how the Moron who runs the PL handle this mess he’s mastered (pardon the pun) .

09 Sep 2025 19:24:08
If they are dealt with leniently, are there grounds for us to bring charges against the Premier League for being unfairly treated? I would have no idea what area of law it would come under or the charges they could bring but someone on here might.

09 Sep 2025 21:57:54
Think city are a busted flush now anyway they'll probably disappear down the pecking order like their neighbours and the Spanish fella will jog on back to the costas looking forward to the blue boys back on top I'm feeling it utft.

09 Sep 2025 22:33:43
The money men are ruining the game. I have no problem with them recruiting the best, I just have a problem with them stockpiling talent due the ridiculous wages they throw at players for them to sit on the bench. How much better is it for the footballing spectator to see someone like Grealish play week in week out than sit on the City bench? You can see already how difficult it is to recruit players if the team can't offer European football, a player would rather not play as much, pick up a lofty wage and get some medals which is understandable but it can't be good for the game in the long run.

10 Sep 2025 09:44:55
Prem should compensate us for the money we lost losing league positions.

10 Sep 2025 11:55:45
If it does end up that we were made an example of then we should probably deserve a pay day but. Dot dot dot if we were to go that route then that opens up several relegated sides to also have a case and on and on and on. City need a giant fine and psr ffp needs to go away. The FA can decide to share the pot a little more generously to lower leagues and then get out of the way and remain in the background. Wishing a club relegation or banned from comps is only damaging the entire English game. This needs to be wrapped up and f00ked off enough already.

10 Sep 2025 15:59:42
Giant fine won't hurt them, but a points deduction might. Especially as it means missing out on Europe.

07 Sep 2025 17:11:59
So while the international breaks are on and the premier league has stood to a stand still just a question to all and the eds aswell what's you're favourite football computer game of all time mine personally has to be premier manager 98 on the ps2 that game for me was addictive I got up to the year 3000 on it and the music in background was sick but yeah great times.

Used to love championship manager on the PC but played a lot of Fifa on PS4.

07 Sep 2025 19:31:51
Good shout dentie totally forgot that one champ man 01_02 aswell.

07 Sep 2025 19:55:55
Championship manager 95, I think. Ni Lamptey was the bargain player to kick start your campaign. No idea if he was actually any good in real life ha ha.

07 Sep 2025 21:15:27
Sensible Soccer.

07 Sep 2025 21:17:45
The original Football Manager series by Kevin Toms (think that's his name) was the very first game i played on the old spectrum! Tracksuit Manager and Striker were another couple of good ones for that system, those were the days of annoying sounds as your game took an age to load up haha.

Premier Manager on the amiga was decent game. With these titles, I'm really showing my age here, all pre console days.

Sensible Soccer was class too, game play was addictive. I've played the majority of the Champ Manager series and then the same with Football manager when it changed its name. Pro Evo was always better than fifa for me and my mates but both have gone crap these days.

Cheers, andy, proper little trip down memory lane there mate!

07 Sep 2025 22:18:11
Emlyn Hughes International Soccer was the fifa of its day waaaaaay back in 1988, just because it was side on. Microprose Soccer was gash, but Gazzas Superstar Soccer was so unplayable I cried like the great Geordie soft lad himself every time I played it. This was, of course long before consoles, where games were played projected onto cave walls through the skins of our slain brontosauruses.

07 Sep 2025 22:41:10
Loved sensible soccer on the Mega Drive FBS - it was the first football game I bought!

I remember FIFA 96, FIFA 98, Championship Manager 99-00 and Champ Man 01-02. Hours upon hours spent playing on those. Bought FIFA 14 as it was the first to have Goodison Park in it but haven’t bought and recent editions as our team has been crap. Possibly the one with James, Allen and Richy was the last decent side on FIFA.

I seem to remember us buying Ibrahim Bakayoko based on the hype on one of the champ manager games. Always makes me laugh that does.

{Ed025's Note - i have to admit i never played video games, i was too busy playing the game than watching it on a computer..

07 Sep 2025 23:02:17
Same Ed I have never played a video game in my life. I was too busy drinking, sleeping with women and going the match.

{Ed025's Note - same here Reg, i dont know how people find the time mate..

08 Sep 2025 00:31:03
I got drunk, slept with women, went the match all while playing video games. It's quite possible to be into video games and still be a goddamned sexual tyrannosaurus.

08 Sep 2025 06:14:03
Ah - I don’t drink so I save myself a bucket each year and have plenty of time for gaming Ed. Admittedly, having kids has taken over any spare time when not working for the last decade.

Think it’s a generational thing. You also had your hoop and stick to entertain you which was the video game of its time….

{Ed025's Note - we had to make do with tar bombs BR a hoop and a stick was out of our price range mate, and school holidays was going to Sefton park with a jam butty and a bottle of water with sherbet in it and told not to come home all day, my computer was an abacus.. :)

08 Sep 2025 08:58:40
My video game as a kid was the Mersey ferry. Spent many a long hour going backwards and forwards across the water hiding from the ticket collector. Call of Duty had nothing on us. We were invisible?.

08 Sep 2025 10:26:22
Loved premier manager 98 and 99. In fact I still have them both at home as well as a ps2 that they run on. Might have to play them again soon.

The old LMA manager games were quite good too on the ps2.

08 Sep 2025 15:09:05
Loved the one with handles/ levers, flick of the wrist gooooooaaaaalllll. Big priority though 'watch the bloody beer'.

08 Sep 2025 15:34:03
Studs eh lads? Drunk studs?
I couldn't bring myself to say Em Hughes soccer for obvious reasons but I definitely played it. But the banana after touch on Sensible Soccer was a revolution.

08 Sep 2025 21:09:06
Very drunk FBS. Mrs Palmer and her five lovely daughters were never the same again.

08 Sep 2025 21:17:01
Remember Freddy Adu?

07 Sep 2025 16:14:43
Wow here's a stat I never realised. This season we have won more games in August than we did in 2021,22,23,24 combined.

The now obsolete PES for me, got the 2020 version and got an online patch with all the classic squads from international and world clubs. Love the gameplay. Fifa ain't good enough to lace it's boots in my opinion.

08 Sep 2025 22:19:51
Think you want the post above this one Tomtom lol.

09 Sep 2025 07:00:47

I watched it the ignorance from the commentator was class even the women have got everyone rattled refuse to recognise everton as a team on the rise the girls played them off the park second half great to hear the goodison gang sung at anfield.

07 Sep 2025 19:14:29
Doesn't matter what age group, gender our team is, commentators never praise us. They just look for faults in their favourite teams. Heaven forbid should everton play another team off the park. maybe we will start getting some recognition soon.

{Ed025's Note - i doubt it Dentie..

07 Sep 2025 19:57:30
