The media and some of the Everton fans having a go at Tyler Dibbling nah he is 19 he is not y Lamal but then nobody is right now even in our very own premier League give him time to adapt and bed in he does not get the game time because ndiye is in front of him and he is one of the best in that position in the League so Dibbling will have to earn the right which is only fair when he gets the chance has to try and grab it with both hands that's all.

I agree, he’s just a lad. Wasn’t helped by the team selection last night, think he would have been better served coming and certainly not playing with McNeil, Tim and Alcaraz and were unable to pass him the ball in any decent space.
24 Sep 2025 20:21:26
Far worse players than him that night.
24 Sep 2025 20:59:53
Read some people calling him a Chris Waddle throwback. He definitely needs a proper RB to cover his absolute lack of defensive awareness. I see the reason why some have given him stick but he looks like in a proper EFC side, he'd be a very good player. Surprised how slow he is and personally he struck me as a Mcmanaman clone, light weight gangly but when coming onto the ball, able to walk past challenges. Definitely a throwback winger and quite different to JG. Hope he gets a game soon with the other ballers we have.

He maybe o ly 19 but we parted with 45k for him. You don't pay that for potential. Liverpool have got a 16 year old who cost next to nothing and has already scored a winning goal in the Premier League and looks a really exciting prospect. Looks like another Everton scouting team "gem".
25 Sep 2025 23:56:35
45k that's less than we paid for Coleman.
24 Sep 2025 14:13:08
Think Moyes is a great manager, however, the defeate last night has to be placed firmly at his door.
If picking up a trophy was at, or near the top of our agender, putting out a second string side, then having to introduce, our A1 performer to try and retrieve the situation, was a sad repeat of his predececers.
Start with you best side, get a 2 or 3 goal lead, then withdrew you top performers, and let the second string see out the game .
This is not rocket science, but hell what do we know, we just pay the enormous salaries.
Apart from anything else it undermines confidence, and puts unnecessary pressure on getting a result from West ham.

I like him but he isn't great. We cannot afford great.

Wolves have scored five goals this season. Four of those against us ?.

Was I angry last night at that result, of course I was. But I've now had time to sleep on it and now I'm bloody furious.
Wolves were a team totally devoid of any confidence, even in the first few minutes they were all over the place. Had we started with our strongest eleven we would have buried them.
But no In typical Everton fashion we put out a weaker side and allowed them to slowly dictate the game why?
Put out your strongest side, control the game and don't allow the opposition to build any momentum. Then later in the game you can make changes to close the game out.
This loss is squarely on the manager who again got his tactics wrong. It's cost us points and now a cup run.
He really didn't need to rest players, our next game is not until Monday night, and we all know that the only chance of us ever winning a trophy is in a cup competition.
So yes I slept on it and yes I am still seething about it,

Moyes is allergic to winning trophies with Everton.
24 Sep 2025 11:23:06
Rightly so BMD. It is not like we have European games to tackle as well.
Same old story and another thing Moyes doesn't seem to have learnt from since his 1st spell with us. It is the same in the league with his approach to substitutions, particularly the Wolves and Villa games.
24 Sep 2025 12:27:33
Fully agree BMD. This and the Derby are totally on the manager. Of course the manager still has my backing, but I was a doubter when he was appointed and the Liverpool and Wolves results are examples of the reasons why.
I really don't see the logic or reasoning behind last nights team selection, especially as we had played them off the park a couple of weeks ago. That performance and last nights were polar opposites. I'd go as far as to say that last nights performance was Dyche like.
Not only are we now out of a cup competition, but last nights results now puts additional unnecessary pressure on Mondays game and should give West Ham some confidence. Also, why did we keep Tim and send Armstrong out on loan? A baffling decision along with the purchase of Barry who is totally out of his depth.
I feel a few more results like this between now and Christmas and a certain Mr Carsley may be getting a call. After no-one is indispensible.
24 Sep 2025 13:08:00
These owners can be ruthless (Roma) . One observation, we are not Everton's Manager.
24 Sep 2025 07:36:19
My fellow evertonians it would be so much like our usual Everton trick of welcoming a new side to our wonderful home group in this case a really struggling West Ham team playing terribly and giving them the points on Monday and the boost they need to kick start their season happens almost every time we find ourselves facing a side rock bottom of the table and woefully out of form will Monday break the cycle I hope so but I fear the worst if I am honest I have supported this great club since 1984:and since this pattern once too much if I am honest fingers crossed for a decent performance and all three points though UTFT.

I can understand the concern after last nights showing, but I think our first 11 beats West Ham on Monday. Beto in for Barry for me.
24 Sep 2025 11:23:47
Luton all over again TB. I thought this last night.
24 Sep 2025 00:00:22
Did anyone see the stat that we are so bad and win one game out of 30 that the derby is embarrassing just for calling it a derby when it’s really us just laying down and pissing ourselves.

OMG poor show last night there were a few players out there given a chance and didn’t take it.
24 Sep 2025 09:14:56
proves that we still don't have strength in depth.
23 Sep 2025 23:25:23
Such a shame that having been an Evertonian since mid 60s and, seen success, success for me this season would be Moyes getting sacked. Blundering blithering bafoon.

Yes Moyes lost us that, fk.
24 Sep 2025 07:40:33
Yeah, let’s forget all the good things he’s done ay?
24 Sep 2025 08:23:57
What good things? Have I missed some cups he's won? Have I missed sustained appearances in Europe? Have I missed some mouthwatering performances? He won't change. He's still a dithering idiot. Gave the derby away, blew a cup run and chance of a cup away. He's a mid table manager at best and if that's success for us I'm done. As Evertonians we demand and deserve better. Did he save us last season? NO! We were never in any danger of relegation and people forget that. He might be better than Dyche but only by 4-5 places. I don't like him and never have. He's not for us. There's better out there.
24 Sep 2025 09:07:29
Disappointed as the rest but I'm not going to make such loco posts about DM. Should have done better but ultimately after a sleep, the players let us down. Maybe you're so angry you've stayed up all night screeching into the void and tomorrow you'll come back to some sort of rational reality? Or maybe you are a goldfish and have bo recollection of the previous 5 years? Or are you Bobby Ewing? Get a 4 pack of Cider and some Valuum and come join the rest of your life. News flash: We are a mid table team.
24 Sep 2025 09:18:10
How quickly people forget. This time last year we were heading down and playing dreadful football. This season, we have reasonable aspirations of a top half finish and play attractive, attacking football.
24 Sep 2025 09:30:31
I see less mood swings at work and I teach in an all girls school.
24 Sep 2025 10:24:01
We might JB but has the manager?
24 Sep 2025 11:06:44
I love the old timers that think we are somehow owed success because we had it in the past.
“Why are we signing Barry! We are Everton, we should be aiming for Mbappe! Do we not know how great we were 50 years ago!? ”
Sure sack Moyes and bring in who exactly? Half the fans on this website have wanted anyone from Graham Potter to a reunion with Roberto Martinez.
We went out of the cup last night, we do it every year, why are people acting like it’s some big shock.
24 Sep 2025 13:27:54
Errr because it is.
24 Sep 2025 13:46:35
It’s a shock that a team that’s never won the league cup, won’t be winning the league cup?
24 Sep 2025 20:25:48
No it’s a shock that a team more than capable of winning the match given the players they have at their disposal didn’t.

Did the stadium tour on Monday stayed at the Titanic hotel so ticked two boxes at once.
Have to say the drone footage does not do the stadium justice, it's absolutely magnificent. Did the siren and Z Cars as we went out pitch side, hairs on my neck were standing up, and sat in the dugout. The view of the stadium from there is stunning>
Anyway Talking to the guides during the tour they mentioned more than once that Moyes was targeting bringing cup success this season, as we had a squad good enough to achieve this while still being able to hold our own in the league.
Now what I have seen tonight suggests something a little different. It suggests nothing has changed when it comes to the cup competitions.
Last season we were knocked out by Southampton a team struggling in the league. This season it's Wolves, a team struggling in the league.
So my question is, just how serious is our manager really taking cup competitions? Because based on what I saw tonight then not very.
{Ed025's Note - that was all down to Moyes tonight Brass, started with a totally crap side and if he cant see that the likes of Tim isarealbum and the beaut that is Barry are not good enough then he should be the next out the door mate..

Well the illusion that we have a good bench and squad was shattered today, so many players are just not pulling their weight. Yes you can blame Moyes for making too many changes but the team he picked should have been capable of at least giving Wolves a good game. We were absolute crap especially in the first half and if we have to rely on Beto and Barry to score goals we are in deep du-du.
23 Sep 2025 23:11:20
What’s happened to Aznou?
24 Sep 2025 06:56:56
Good question. How much ££££££.
24 Sep 2025 08:47:55
Very disappointed with the team choice. We're playing decent football, we aren't at the bottom of the league, not in Europe so no need to rest / save anyone for important games, so why put out that team? Why can't Moyes just put out the best 11 and go for it! So frustrating ?.
23 Sep 2025 21:54:09
That defeat is on moyes. Coleman left back, tim awful in midfield, mcneil should of been taken off at half time. Garner thinks he's better than what he is. Too late moyes.
