Does anyone know if that Brazilian kid is definitely coming in January once he’s 18? Tried to search on Jesus on this site but got some strange unrelated posts.

Big C

{Ed002's Note - I have dealt with this previously - of course not.}

1.) 08 Nov 2019 18:16:17
He ain't coming. If you search jesus on here all you will get is posts of people saying "jesus is Silva still here"

Club announcement Kean signs 5 year deal.

Big C

1.) 04 Aug 2019 13:08:21
I think our best signing by far is Marcel Brands. The quality of player we are now looking to sign is of a better calibre than what Steve Walsh would usually get. Still not sure how to pronounce Moise or Gbamin yet. Let's hope they can do a job for us. I wonder who else the club are trying to sign? It's a good window for us so far in my opinion.

2.) 04 Aug 2019 13:36:42
Absolutely Howie mate and Moise has no buy back clause.

3.) 04 Aug 2019 14:26:42
100% Howie the clubs best signing for year Marcel Brands hasn’t improved our club since he’s been here hope he’s continues to do that for a long time. Just hope our fans give his ideas and silvas time
And not jump on them when. Signing takes time to adjust to the PL and The North West.

29 Jul 2019 22:45:39
I've just read that Zaha and Moise Kean are now following each other on Instagram, don't know what that means if anything I just about cope with posting on here

Kean’s Brother also followed the official Everton and a Fan channel. Someone posted a screenshot asking him if he was signing and he replied with a blue heart. Sounds promising!

{Ed0333's Note - you sure it wasn’t Robbie Keanes brother mate?

2.) 30 Jul 2019 01:08:20
If it falls through our deals, Dark clouds be on quicker than a Vicar leaving a brothal playing his Smiths collection as he types.

For now we sill have hope :-)

3.) 30 Jul 2019 00:57:38
Comedy gold.

4.) 30 Jul 2019 01:41:04
I hope not ed.

{Ed0333's Note - Unfortunately mate we had him for 6 months which was 6 months too long

on ssn that PSG have agreed fee of £28m for Gana

Also on sport radio show that rumoured we are ready to make a significant bid for Zaha

Feels like agent talk to force Arsenal’s hand. No doubt he’d improve us, just not convinced his heart would be in it.

{Ed002's Note - What on earth is "agent talk".}

2.) 25 Jul 2019 13:56:28
When agents or ‘sources close to the player’ share info with the press with the intention of pressing for a move for their player or getting a new contract.

{Ed002's Note - No, that doesn't happen.}

3.) 25 Jul 2019 15:00:27
Thats exactly what Mino Raiola does, who is the biggest football agent.

{Ed002's Note - No, he doesn't.}

4.) 25 Jul 2019 16:25:00
We may have to agree to disagree on this one Ed.

5.) 25 Jul 2019 17:02:27
He does, so he can play teams off each other to get the biggest commission for himself.

6.) 25 Jul 2019 18:58:16
Must admit tho ed. Bit naive on this one. For years people have leaked stories to the press to manipulate situations to their benefit, clubs and players and agents all do it. Maybe not obviously but definitely behind scenes.

{Ed002's Note - Really, I am naive about it.}

14 Jul 2019 15:56:45
Just read a report stating we have bid 30m for Moise Keane from Juventus. In the last year of his contract, Juve have reportedly offered him 2.5m per year contract to stay but is meeting with his agent, Minola Raiola, next week.

Big C

1.) 14 Jul 2019 22:15:23
From what i've seen, brands is trying to pay a bigger upfront fee, in the region of $40,000,000. this will be to stop a percentage of the sell on fee going to juventus, which if he is half as good as everyone is saying will be a masterstroke, if he does a Jansen at spurs and flops, money down the drain.

2.) 15 Jul 2019 08:02:16
It's the same with any player KyleEFC. All signings have risks. Let's hope that if he arrived that he hits the ground running and scores the goals we need.

3.) 15 Jul 2019 10:53:56
Hi all thing that winds me up about transfer window if we linked to a player we want why don’t we make a realistic move for him and not risk of losing him to another team Costa we interested in but have compaction bloody go sign him then.

4.) 15 Jul 2019 13:57:48
White - unfortunately us as fans have no idea who we are genuinely interested in signing. Most of the stuff we read is probably made up to sell newspapers and get website visits.
It is a frustrating time of the year as I’m sure we’ve all got ideas of players we’d like to sign (Zouma, Pepe and Neres for me) but until a player signs we’ve just got to go with the flow and trust Brands and Marcel to do the business, which is easier said than done as I’m continually checking the rumours.

5.) 15 Jul 2019 16:11:40
Sounds very simple to say if we want him just go and sign him.
Unfortunately, unless you are one of the real top clubs, then likely players will want to hang on to see if any better options whether that be money, Europa League, CL.
I'm sure the club would love to have everyone signed and on the pre-season trip, but that just isn't reality.

There is a reason why market goes mad before the close of the window and a large part is due to the fact that players / agents have assessed their options and given up waiting for better offers.

Trust in Marcel.

6.) 15 Jul 2019 17:30:41
Very hard for club to attract the top players but I do think the closer the stadium becomes a reality then this will help us but it’s 3 years away and from a players point of view there is nothing to see and likely not even play in it, can't wait for it to get started.

I WILL be watching match of the day 😁.

1.) 19 Oct 2019 17:54:47
I will second that notion. I want to see what the pundits make of our performance plus Minas ruled out goal for nothing. Terrible refereeing from Paul Tierney. That was exactly the performance we needed plus a clean sheet. Hopefully we've turned a corner now so onwards and upwards.

2.) 19 Oct 2019 17:59:53
Make sure you watch it until the end otherwise you'll miss us.

3.) 19 Oct 2019 21:42:36
I hope DC enjoyed the game today lol.

4.) 19 Oct 2019 22:56:46
And only 14 points off first place 😉

5.) 20 Oct 2019 08:31:49
That’s so true Smit I always like to say they save the best until last but it’s not been the case earlier in the season
Other teams must look at the fixture against us and think, well that’s us last on MOTD and little analysis! 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Liking the picture Big C, let's hope he’s here for a reason. Not sure where you got your odds from though as David Moyes is 11/ 10 across the board and 10/ 11 with paddy after a flurry of bets Thursday/ Friday.

2.) 13 Oct 2019 13:28:10
The odds weren’t mine and my son was not in a position to ask as he was on duty doing something else but got a quick pic.

3.) 14 Oct 2019 17:47:17
I need to issue a retraction my son did not take that picture of Rafa he was working lates in that area and sent me the picture but was unable to talk or comment further. Apparently it was doing the rounds on media. I believed he’d taken it genuine mistake by me guess I got a little over excited about what I believed was . I still think silva will get it right and we’ll be safe and have an ok season
Sorry once again.

I see pot noodle have brought out a new product, it’s called Everton apparently you just pour in a shed load of money and you get instant success!
Even a pot noodle needs time to get ready topping up with more water and the occasional stir, add the sachet and then choose a fork or a spoon, only then do you have something you can enjoy.

Ps Chicken and mushroom is my favourite however a splash of ketchup rather than the soy sauce it’s a matter of choice 😉.

comparing everton football club to a pot noodle. interesting take!

2.) 03 Oct 2019 11:38:47
Pot Noodles Yuck, How about a hand built Bentley as it's a Bentley let's say an 'Azure' it will eventually look and move like a dream once the 'qualified' mechanics turn up to fine tune the engine Ahhh .

3.) 03 Oct 2019 12:18:42
Hi Woburn, I was being ironic, success isn’t built overnight I was hoping to make an amusing point. As the saying goes “it’s a marathon not a sprint, or is that a snickers”?
Big C.

4.) 03 Oct 2019 16:06:22
At least when you put the hot water onto a pot noodle you know it will work.

5.) 03 Oct 2019 18:02:11
Only if you add the correct amount of hot water dc. Too much water and you end up with a dodgy noodle soup and not enough water you end up with hard crunchy and bitter noodles at the end. Bit like some of our fans 😂😂.

6.) 03 Oct 2019 20:03:44
BC 👍 think we’re like pic n mix, never know what the f your going to get.

7.) 03 Oct 2019 23:18:41

23 Sep 2019 09:05:25
Completely gutted about the weekend result 70 odd percent possession and 12 corners one shot on goal and 5 strikers on at the end, speaks volumes. Yet last season when Zouma was new it took a while to get things at the back sorted. Moise Kean needs a goal to settle him and we need to build consistency, I’ve said this before we need to ride the storm and trust them to get it right, we know Silva can he did it last season keep the faith.

Big C

1.) 23 Sep 2019 09:39:25
Now the dust has settled and can talk to the wife and kids your post makes sense, we can't expect a miracle from kean he looks a exciting prospect but needs time.
Think once gomez and jp are fit and going we will see a different team, need to give bernard a go in sigs place, drop scniderlin at the train station, iwobi Richardson on the wings, we spent 30 mill on this kid and we warm bench with him.
We all know what happens in 6 or 7 more matches like this, and I doubt we will bankroll another squad overhaul.

2.) 23 Sep 2019 11:01:33
I think Bernard and Digne link well on the left and I’d play Iwobi out on the right and then Richarlison and either DCL or Kean in a front two. Definitely need Gomes making the passes and Siggy or Delph in the middle with him 442 I know but our players as lone strikers aren’t coping and at least it’s a structure that has someone close to whoever wins the ball flick on or whatever and at least there’s width . Just a thought and only my opinions.
Whatever team gets played ill support it.
Big C.

17 Sep 2019 22:06:09
Liverpool are loosing 2-0 do you think they’re going to sack klopp no neither do I.
Seriously give all your heads a wobble, burn the witch, obviously I wasn’t happy that we lost at the weekend but sacking the manager is not the answer, people need to keep their expectations in the real world, new players to the prem and I include Mina in that, young squad, and too many had an off day, I agree Iwobi wasn’t at his best and we do look better with Bernard on the left, it was never going to happen overnight. Keep the faith and get behind the club and stop looking for someone to blame.

Big C

1.) 17 Sep 2019 22:43:34
Big C - Seriously. that analogy / comparison. Top of the Prem, playing football that we can only dream about in the last 20+ years, Champions League finalists in the last x2 Year’s and current holders of Big Ears. In all fairness not the best comparison let alone losing to Bournemouth v Napoli. Everything else in your post spot on though.

2.) 18 Sep 2019 01:30:45
Not comparable in any way.

Klopp built them up, won the Champions League and will probably win the Premier League.

We have won nothing, haven't improved or even come close to looking like we will do anything.

Honestly, it's like saying Schneiderlin should stay in the team because Van Dijk made a mistake tonight, makes no sense.

I refuse to blindly follow something which doesn't work. Then again some of our fans wanted Martinez to stay even after 3 seasons so I'm not surprised.

3.) 19 Sep 2019 09:00:46
I tried to reply yesterday to this only it must have got lost in the ether. I wasn’t making a comparison I was trying to be ironic. We are years behind Liverpool and City with regards to investment in the squad and structure, likewise with stability in management and squad. How many players did they sign in the last window? How many did we sign? We need to follow that path if that’s where we want to be or we can crash along changing managers and changing playing style and players every time things don’t go right. Klopp was fortunate as he took over a reasonable team and did very little with it and finished 8th in his first season we all know how it’s gone since then. Even Howard Kendall was close to the sack until it all clicked. Yet I remember after Gordon Lee got sacked, Brian Clough was interviewed and asked about Lee being sacked and he said “whoever follows Gordon Lee will have an easy job”, yet as we know it wasn’t immediate.
We looked close at the end of Moyes tenure and we were playing nice football and we all know what happened then .
Ride the storm, get behind the club and trust the club to get it right
Big C.

Going back to the top of this post how does Mr Moshiri wanting to make a marquee signing and us having no money to spend work in any way at all.
Ignore the money what comes in what goes out as Ed 2 so often explains it’s not simple so forget about it.

If “ in silva and brands we trust” stand for anything, then we need to stand by that statement and let them get on with it. Get excited by links to various players by all means but don’t be surprised when we get someone completely from left field and I don’t mean a winger.

As I read the article in the echo, mr moshiri said he wants to make a marquee signing and it then says and that COULD be Diego Costa, not that he wanted to sign Costa big difference and I’m all for a marquee signing but suggesting that is Costa is speculative journalism
