See Mr Moyes is getting himself in all the rags just in case.
1.) 19 Sep 2024 13:49:45
All this Moyes business is worrying me. Out of the pan into the fire. I have never turned my back on Everton, but if he's appointed, I might just start supporting the Cheltenham Ladies Hockey team who play behind my flat. As one poster said yesterday and, a good shout. If Brighton and others can unearth decent managers why can't we.
2.) 19 Sep 2024 14:43:56
No to Moyes ever.
3.) 19 Sep 2024 15:01:23
I'm done with everton If moyes comes in, well until he gets sacked eventually aswell.
4.) 19 Sep 2024 15:39:20
Notforme, notforme.
5.) 19 Sep 2024 17:38:26
Notforme either but I certainly wouldn't turn my back on the club if he joined.
6.) 19 Sep 2024 21:06:01
Just remember this is all the press stirring the pot. Easy story, and what's more they know it winds us up which is about the most important thing on their agenda most days it seems.
7.) 20 Sep 2024 07:41:16
Moyes is no Messiah but he is certainly better than dyche. I don't get all the moyes hate. I don't pretend to know who all the current up and coming managers are but we've had a few of them over the past decade and it's not turned out particularly well.
8.) 20 Sep 2024 08:56:16
Ask Ed mate he will tell you, I never want Moyes to set foot here again.
9.) 20 Sep 2024 15:32:54
I never want dyche to set foot here again GB. I know a lot don't like Moyes for personal reasons but I would prefer him to dyche. And before everyone jumps on my back I'm not saying Moyes is the answer, I'm saying dyche is even less of the answer.
10.) 20 Sep 2024 17:19:53
Im with you, fatchris.
11.) 20 Sep 2024 18:14:02
If Manchester United · Real Sociedad · Sunderland fans were so glad to get rid of Moyes, why are you so keen to get him in FatChris? Does his previous lack of success not tell you something? Even WHU fans were glad to see him go despite winning an egg cup. As most keep saying, let's look for better. Moyes won't get us much above 10th.
12.) 20 Sep 2024 19:33:09
Haha nick mate. Literally said I'm not saying Moyes is the answer. But the general jist of what I'm saying is right now I'd love to get not much above 10th.
13.) 20 Sep 2024 19:35:11
I know mate. I just don't want Moyes lol.
14.) 21 Sep 2024 08:35:35
Under Moyes we would definitely be harder to beat, plus, play to a system that suits are strengths, vast improvement on Dyche.
15.) 21 Sep 2024 08:54:47
If the other option is Dyche till the end of the season, I’d take Moyes until Summer. Get us defending again and stop picking Keane, Young and Harrison.
{Ed025's Note - but would he BR?, he had his favourite,s as well mate..
16.) 21 Sep 2024 13:44:15
As long as they aren’t Keane and Young there would be hope for us Ed.
12 Jul 2024 16:25:21
Philogene going back to Villa then. Move on.
1.) 12 Jul 2024 17:31:10
That must have the PSR brigade in absolute bedlam. Villa sell him for 5m pure profit, then buy him back for 18m over 5 years but get 30% of the profit of that sale so about 4.5m which also goes straight to profit?.
2.) 12 Jul 2024 18:30:41
Don't really understand the PSR rules, but if that is correct, they have better accountants than we have ?.
3.) 12 Jul 2024 20:36:10
Toys R Us and Mothercare had better accountants than us!
4.) 13 Jul 2024 20:18:40
Moshiri’s background was an accountant, which makes what he has done at every turn in the past even more ridiculous
Hopefully times are changing.

Don't know about dropping Keane, think Tarks needs a break, his man marking today was bloody awful.
1.) 27 Oct 2024 01:14:51
He’s been poor all season.
2.) 27 Oct 2024 07:59:42
Although the defensive partnership of Tarkowski and Branthwaite were really good for us last season we have to look at the facts for this season. Branthwaite has been injured and it's affected us. It's as you say with regards to Tarkowski. He hasn't been himself although he is supposedly carrying a back injury. Keane although he puts me on edge has been the better of the two. Mykolenko and Young have also been decent.
26 Oct 2024 21:57:39
Dyche says he could smell that goal coming. What bollocks. I know what I could see and smell, another bloody awful performance with a large portion of Dycheball. Even the second half kick off saw it go straight back to the keeper to hoof it up the pitch.
We were bloody lucky today and that's all there is to it. Fulham played football we played hoofball. I know which one I would rather watch.
1.) 27 Oct 2024 01:15:31
I smell bs.
2.) 27 Oct 2024 09:54:50
once again the fans save his job, get rid, this guy could take us down, he is clueless.
06 Oct 2024 23:25:23
Never mind the pen, how did Gana miss the follow up shot?
1.) 07 Oct 2024 08:26:15
It was a howler for sure mate, I like to think the poor guy was in shock after what just happened to DCL.
Put yourself in his boots he must have thought 'yep another nailed on pen we won't get' ???.
28 Sep 2024 23:29:18
Not going to get too excited by that. Yes we won but could easily have been 3-0 down at half time.
Did have a laugh tonight though. Mate said Young got an assist for the first goal? Literally past it two yards.
As I said glad we got the win, but people thinking we are suddenly going to go on a winning streak are deluded.
Dyche still has to go before we turn any corner.
1.) 29 Sep 2024 08:03:28
We are more than capable of going run Notforme, We've proved this in the past, I personally think we will have a upturn in results in coming weeks.
I do agree Dyche does need to go still, even with any upturn, I've lost a lot of time and respect for the guy of late with his lack of self awareness or blame not to mention the football and tactics.
If he stays am confident we won't go down but equally we won't progress and that just isn't good enough for our great club.
2.) 29 Sep 2024 10:13:53
Sorry Mocker mate but from where I was sitting I don't see us beating any of the top ten teams. Palace are a poor team, but they have two or three good players and in the first half they ran the game with almost double the amount of possession.
Let's see how we fare against Newcastle next week. Win that and I will happily come on and say I was wrong.
3.) 29 Sep 2024 10:16:41
Not sure about that Mocker. Play Newcastle next. That will be a good benchmark as to whether we go on any run or not. Think yet again their are three or four worse teams than us fortunately.
4.) 29 Sep 2024 11:09:00
Fair points lads. But personally think we will beat Newcastle, we are certainly capable and hopeful that the win gives us a confidence boost moving forward, when I say a run, ok I don't mean we will win the next 10 games but we will get results and I am confident that will come next week lads.
5.) 29 Sep 2024 14:15:22
At least it was a win and up the table we go, we have a stronger Team to last season and with JB back a big difference, Ndiaye still the top pick for me, runs his socks off, I’m far more confident after the win.
6.) 29 Sep 2024 14:21:44
I disagree that how we fare against Newcastle will be a good benchmark as to whether we can have a good run in the games that follow against likes of Ipswich, Fulham, Southampton, west ham and Brentford.
7.) 29 Sep 2024 16:29:56
No our ambition should be to beat any team that comes to Goodison. Settle for average and average is what you get. Players have to be pushed to continue to improve. Starting with Newcastle.
Imagine you would have had Bournemouth in that list a couple of weeks ago? Look how that went.
8.) 29 Sep 2024 17:09:13
I think we will have a good idea how the season is going to go by Xmas. Mid table or above will be great. Near the bottom then it's another bite your nails time for 2nd half of season.
9.) 29 Sep 2024 17:18:15
My view of this season is we should have beaten Bournemouth (bad tactics) . Could have drawn at Villa (again, poor tactics) . Should have beaten Leicester (poor finishing) .
Should beat at home (or at least you’d hope we beat) :
Wolves
Saints
Leicester
Ipswich
Brentford
Forest
West Ham
Could win away (well, hope to win) :
Saints
Ipswich
Wolves
Brentford
Forest
Throw in 10 draws and we will be safe. Those games are crucial in my eyes - win them and we are doing well. If we can get a bit of momentum and win some more games or get some draws from others we likely would lose, it will allow for when we slip up against the above which is undoubtedly going to happen.
Sort out the club, get into BMD, find a manager who can get us playing football again and possibly a run in a cup for some excitement in the next few years… that would be great progress given where we are (or should I say where? )
10.) 29 Sep 2024 20:21:15
Would have that in my Christmas cracker BR mate.
11.) 29 Sep 2024 22:21:18
I’m obviously watching a totally different team?
12.) 30 Sep 2024 06:26:14
Come off it nfm - we played well against Bournemouth and I’d lump a large number of those teams in at that level.
The Prem is rapidly turning into two levels of clubs with the top 4 becoming a top 8-10 with a few guaranteed teams reaching in the top 6. I just hope we can kick on and make it 9-11 top teams.
13.) 30 Sep 2024 09:52:36
BR unless I’m mistaken we lost. That was mostly down to the manager, and guess what. He’s still there.
14.) 30 Sep 2024 21:59:57
You’re right nfm, we lost but should have won. Dyche messed up and I’m sure he won’t be our manager next season. I hope he’s gone soon but don’t know what we can afford to do until the takeover is complete. I still think the squad is capable of beating those teams above though.
21 Sep 2024 17:47:34
Played some nice football first half, Dacoure looked better in deeper role.
Then the inevitable changes and we go back to hoofball and panic. Moves Dacoure forward (then looks like the old Dacoure) , brings Harrison on why? In fact why did we resign him?
First half showed we have players who can play decent footy. This guy seems hell bent on stopping them doing that. 10mins to go and he was screaming at them all to stay back.
03 Nov 2024 20:24:27
Oh dear : (.
23 Oct 2024 15:46:08
The guy isn’t through the door yet, just support the team and hope his first move is to bin Dyche and get us playing football again. That would be a start.
19 Oct 2024 09:23:22
Sorry but neither should be in the team. One half decent game in every four or five is not good enough. Still I suppose it shows where we are as supporters now, been fed mediocrity for so long we are now grateful for the odd good game.
{Ed025's Note - thats a good point mate..
18 Oct 2024 09:09:42
Didn’t think refs could count to eight?
10 Oct 2024 19:37:45
Not for me thanks.
04 Nov 2024 14:55:01
If we were sitting in 3rd on 19 points then we wouldn’t be having this debate. But we’re not.
03 Nov 2024 20:18:30
Villa lost 4-1. Just saying.
03 Nov 2024 10:26:59
Love that TA. From now on I shall refer to him as the Clueless one.
03 Nov 2024 10:24:49
We let teams dominate us every game. Nobody can convince me that the players like playing this way. The man is way out of his depth and should go asap.
31 Oct 2024 19:15:30
Think they include half time.
