Alcaraz can play 10 Ed but Moyes brings him on with very limited time left and the guy can’t get into his game.

To think we were crying out for him to start ahead of Doucs and he still won’t play him.

Alcaraz is always playing under pressure. Give the lad a run of games and not have him worrying if he’s even going to get on the pitch would be ideal in the ten role, but obviously dithering Dave can’t see that. So he plays KDH there, a player who has already said he prefers a deeper role. But no Dave knows best.

I think that most of us expected this team, we hoped that Moyes would try something different but his history tells us otherwise. We can only pray that he knows what he is doing and Sunderland have an off day.

I can see Moyes running scared of Sunderlands recent record and setting up our team to play right into their hands quite defensive instead of asking questions if their defense I hope I am wrong but I see Sunderland scraping throw a Scrappy two nil win although my one hope is that I am not always the best at predicting these results so we still have hope what do my fellow evertonians think ??.

We need Dave to stop dithering!

We’ve got some great attacking players but he always sets us up defensively.

Would not surprise me if he continues as he has recently that some of those players will ask their agents to look for a move.

Would imagine the new owners would make a decision regards his tenure before we ever got to that point though - can’t imagine they’ll be happy with what they’ve seen during and since that Wolves loss in the cup.

From all the excitement of a new dawn, new stadium and new owners it’s quickly getting worn away with abject performances.

Whilst appreciate its early days and we’re equal distance points wise from bottom and 2nd the football is turning into a painful watch again.

Hopefully he puts things right tonight with decent team selection, players playing in correct positions, positive tactics and actually using trying to win a game not trying to not lose the game.

{Ed025's Note - i would love you to be right Benny...but i just cant see it mate, he has just replaced one static lump of lard for the one who played the last game in exactly the same formation, i would have liked to have seen Alcaraz replace KDH myself as a 10 to give us a different threat, because Kiernan was awful against Spurs mate..just my opinion though..
