Am not advocating moyes to be sacked but the board should seriously be questioning his role as current everton boss he doesn't tweak his formation infact he hasn't even got a plan b never alone plan a mcniel shouldn't of been starting should of been dibling seen lot of people question dibling but I think it's cause we have invested 45 mil in a player whose not playing where instead at that time that money could of been invested elsewhere aznou again bought just on bench every match could of been invested elsewhere fought tim was poor tonight but rohl doesn't replace him an Barry how on earth can you watch us an realise that you're forward has forgot to bring his football boots in the 89 min an he gets replaced by beto fought the 2 red cards were just absolutely daft an childish behaviour from Keane an grealish I had respect for moyes but this fella does not like using the sub bench for what ever reason an says the players he picks is due to training performances which is baffling again not advocating moyes be sacked just curious in his team selections an late sub apperences when game could be sealed or we leave it far to late to chase a game no team should never get a goal and sit on a 1.0 lead it's embarrassing try an get a second and a third at least 1 point in.

our last 2 home games got a hiding from Brentford an just made wolves look like a rolls Royce team ps obrien isn't a right back he's a center half just really annoyed an feel sorry for fans who travelled tonight so be careful driving home safe or other transports Sunderland next won't be easy.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with any of that Andy mate..

We’ll talk about self destruction, what a s”””t show that was once again! I do hope Keanes red card will be overturned, our lack of a proven striker cost us the points again tonight against bottom of the table Wolves! My suggestion to Moyes is that he actually plays Keane up front on his own as striker and keeps O’Brien in his favoured centre back position.

On another note, the kid Mane looks a real talent and gem, would be a great signing for someone in the summer! Would love us to snap him up. The sooner the afcon is finished and Dessbury Hall is back from injury the better! As for our new home stadium that supposed to be the theatre of dreams, it’s now become a weekly horror show! UTT! ?.

{Ed025's Note - the red was deserved Elvis, you just cant do that mate, Keane got exactly what he deserved..and Jack too..

Stupid bloody daft we are in trouble now Ed no players mate.

{Ed025's Note - i would sooner play with 9 than have McNeil and Barry on the pitch GB..

07 Jan 2026 22:04:43
Our lack of striker didn't cost us the points at all. Our ever-degrading "captain" cost us points, along with Moyes playing a CB at RB. That hole that was left for Mane to run into (great first touch and finish btw) was absolutely criminal, as were every single goal that we conceded against Brentford.

Jordan Pickford bails us out every single week and perhaps he is getting tired of it.

Our defence is average at best and it is hidden by the fact that we set up so defensively, that we put up fairly decent numbers. It is no wonder we fare better away from home. We are like a boxer going into the ring trying to avoid being sparked clean out by a knockout artist.

07 Jan 2026 22:07:14
Could argue we played with 9 from the start.

{Ed025's Note - you would be correct JB..

07 Jan 2026 22:09:04
Well we'll get to see Tyrer on bench next game with King and Travers.

07 Jan 2026 21:41:34
Sh;t tactics
Sh;t team selection
Sh;t sub's
Sh;t plan A no plans B
Honeymoon period well and truly over, can't wait until he has gone.

{Ed025's Note - i thought Moyes was dreadful tonight i must admit, why start that McNeil?..and if he did why did he not bring him off when he gave the ball away almost every time?, and why persist with Barry who the whole world knows he is a total waste of space?, and dont give me the old we had nobody else chestnut, also some of our players are as thick as toast, Jake against Arsenal thinking he was playing Basketball and tonight Keane pulling a players hair and Jack clapping the ref for a second yellow...bloody pathetic, im really upset about that tonight talk about shooting yourself in the foot...rant over..

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 22:00:50
Couldn't agree more Ed. Definitely shot ourselves in the foot further as these last few weeks, the teams around us in the table have played each other and there has been a lot of draws/favourable results. If we won the last 2 home games, which any team worth their salt in the league would have done, we would be sat in 5th.

I know we have players out and are down to the bare bones but they are not a good side. Another piece of utter s**** defending. Tarkowski let's Larsen go and collect with zero pressure and he turns round an picks young Mane out who ran between Jake and Tarks like a knife through butter - amateur dross. Another totally avoidable goal.

Our strikers are crap, that is no secret but our defence is just as bad imo mate. I would gut the whole lot and start again. I pray that this Jarred injury is sorted after surgery and he can go on a consistent run of being fit for us Ed.

It says an awful lot when young Armstrong is looking around, shaking his head in pure dismay at the bang average (polite) players around him.

{Ed025's Note - Its lucky we have a bit of a cushion BN..

07 Jan 2026 22:01:51
We all saw it Ed several players not up to standard mate big trouble coming our way.

{Ed025's Note - we will be ok GB but it could and should be a lot better mate..

07 Jan 2026 22:06:52
I bet you were waiting with bated breath for the final whistle, phone in hand there Skylark. Wolves equalising and first Keane then Grealish getting sent off. Bursting out of your I HATE Moyse t shirt. Couldn't wait to have a go.

07 Jan 2026 22:07:41
Maybe a a lot of the players are getting pissed off with moyes and his tactics and getting frustrated on the playing field and making rash decisions , I for one are sick of him, moyes and Irvine sitting there on the touchline look lost and bewildered, we will struggle to keep our best players while he is our manager and we haven't got many of them.

{Ed025's Note - he has not been bad for me Skylark but he does have his faults, we seen some tonight but the players have to hold their hands up at times mate..

07 Jan 2026 22:08:01
World class stadium and once in Europe the pan am super league will raise its head again. Personally I will be a advocate for it. This league is done. Yes at the moment its at the
Top of the shop but it's on it's way down.

It might be slow but more and more people will not continue with this fix of a league. It's already becoming a non competitive league when it comes to relegation and promotion.

07 Jan 2026 22:13:54
Yes you are right big reg , so what? . I'm just stating the facts, moyes is sh:t, , if you want to disagree like GB then that's fine but I've also got the right to show my dislike for him.

07 Jan 2026 22:15:25
One thing I can't understand Reg is how the momentum of the game could not be read. As Dyche used to love to say "you could smell it". They bought on 2 subs. Our midfield were fantastic in the first half but looked out on their feet in the 2nd. We had a bench to utilise there. There are as many bad players on the bench as there are on the pitch. There is no reason why McNeil, Barry and " (insert most players) , couldn't have come off and Rohl, Beto and Patterson come on to at least give us fresh legs and a different look.

This isn't just a one off. The refusal to utilise the s*** squad that we have is simply inexcusable.

07 Jan 2026 22:21:53
One of the most competitive leagues in ages, couple of wins and you’d be in the European places. Waffle.

07 Jan 2026 22:23:57
To be fair Reg Moyes doesn’t help himself with his tactic and team selection. Wolves were there for the taking in the first half. Second half their manager changed tactics and Moyes didn’t react. Instead we sat back and let them come at us.
We are the home team we are 1-0 up on top and we stop playing. Why? I believe most supporters watching knew Wolves were going to get back into the game, you could feel it, yet it seemed the only one who couldn’t was the manager.

And he had the power to change it and didn’t.
Yes we had players missing, but this was Wolves, bottom of the league with one win. We had more than enough to beat them. But we didn’t.

{Ed025's Note - im with you BMD..

07 Jan 2026 22:42:55
Yeah the exception not the rule. Ed02 was right this league is done. Not yet but in the next 5-10 years it'll be a sub par league with the big boys gone. Hopefully we will be invited.

07 Jan 2026 22:59:16
Great debate lads as always and opinions always listened an respected I agree with you're post BMD mate seems moyes an dycheball leave it Late in chasing games or seeing of teams just my opinion a sub bench can have an impact depending on result but am afraid moyes for whatever reason is unwilling to make the appropriate changes at the right time and just leaves it when the games already gone barry being substituted on the 89 min that's on moyes unfortunately when we all knew including live everton chat everyone including meself was asking he and mcniel be subbed at half time or at least the 50th minute but no it gets left till the 89 minute for barry to get hooked off ??.

07 Jan 2026 23:14:06
Moves has got to take his share of the blame but when are we all going to realise that we have a very thin, and not so good, squad? I don't think we can give the players a pass (some can't even seem to be able to pass to a team mate from 5 yards) as they seem to lose all interest as soon as the 2nd half kicks off.

It's obvious that not recruiting full backs and a real forward is costing us, as a lot of people said it would at the close of the summer window. It was always going to be a struggle because of that and then you factor in how teams seem to struggle when moving to a new home. We need to bolster the squad this. month or it will just be rinse and repeat until May.

07 Jan 2026 21:38:32
Armstrong must wish he was back at PNE. Kean pulling hair. Grealish supposed to be a professional. Moyes I have always liked but dear God his dithering and constantly picking his love child is costing us dear. 5 games 4 points.

How many more ways can this lot find to not win a game. We're down to the bare bones and then 2 of our most experienced players go and get sent off for what my 10yo granddaughter wouldn't do.

Sunderland Saturday hard to say but I am not looking forward to that. Dithering Dave .

07 Jan 2026 21:18:48
2 self inflicted red cards especially Grealish.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2026 20:31:12
Could do with another here couldn't we.

Grealish looking after the ball so well. Knows when it is right to slow things down.

Tim playing very well, as is Jimmy.

Armstrong already looks like he should stay to me. Very intelligent head on those young shoulders.

Tarks is gone.

Good performance tonight up to now. I must admit the ref is having a great game considering it's only his 2nd premier match. It's nice to see us having a grip on midfield with all 3 CMs having a good game.

07 Jan 2026 21:37:57
Up to when, we were playing against a side that had amassed six points and they had 51% of the ball. They had conceded 40 goals and score 14 up to today's game. Our centre-back scored and then was sent off.

How many shots did our striker have? We better get some of the injured back or sign someone who can score goals. Now Keane is out for three games to add to the problems.

07 Jan 2026 20:23:44
I Don't know why we don't play Keane as striker. We obviously need a second, we are making too many mistakes and allowing Wolves too much possession to be safe with a one goal lead.

Jimmy garners world class isn’t he, best 6 in the league with Wharton. Walks into the England team garner rice Wharton.
