Now that the dust has settled and reality sets in. We only have Barry as a Striker, who as we all know is crap, but George and Johnson can play there also who are probably better than him anyway.

We have 2 aging Centre Backs who are both prone to howlers.

We now have a Right Back in Maitland-Niles, but I would keep Rohl there for now to see how he progresses.

We also have the worst Left Back in the division who has no competition for his place.

It's going to be a long expletive laden 4 months until January.

I'd be much happier if I saw Braiden Graham utilised. The lad is fantastic. And Balogun was a lot of money for much of the same as what we have. He wasn't worth the 40 million anyway. His actions back up the fact we dodged another difficult situation where we are stuck with mediocrity.

So since leaving Dortmund originally, Jaidon Sancho was dreadful at Man Utd, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Dortmund again. Chelsea paid more to not keep him than it would’ve cost to actually buy him.

Overweight, always late for training, has a horrendous attitude and expects enormous wages.

So can anyone who wants him, please explain why it will be different with us? Main character syndrome aside, why on earth would bringing him in (on likely 150k+ per week) benefit us in the slightest? He’s not as good as Grealish and will only harm the development of George and Dibling.



He’s an absolute joke of a footballer who peaked at 21 and will go down as one of the biggest flops in the history of world football. Why bring him in? I get the talk of Guerrero and the German left back, I even understand Bissouma and to a lesser extent Icardi. But Sancho? Jaidon Sancho in 2026?

We don't need him, Swan, would be a total waste of time. Well stocked in his position with players that are hungry and keen.

We need fullbacks and a striker.

Just another one of those, all happened when too young and too soon. At that age you have people falling all over you to tell you how wonderful and special you are. In the end, I guess you believe it and then it all goes sour.

Does anyone but me not really hate our owners?

There has been a lot of nightmares lately, but, in my eyes, the majority of the blame sits squarely with the absolutely incompetent recruitment team we've seemingly had for years.

The situation with Armstrong absolutely infuriated me, as it did everyone else - but for an owner with no real understanding of the club, it was a sensible deal, and one he pulled out of when he saw the reaction (which few others would have done) .

On top of that, 2 weeks ago everyone was calling for Moyes' head; now, everyone views him as one of us - our hero bravely holding his own - which I understand, but the owner had absolutely nothing to do with Moyes' decision to play O'Brien right back all season, not to give a single minute to a single youth product, for his only tactical plan being to hoof it down the line.

And you can say he didn't put his hand in his pocket enough, but in reality, we spent a decent amount this window, and the enormous amount of money which came in didn't come in until the very last minutes - which, in my eyes, once again falls on the shoulders of the recruitment team, who clearly had no plan.



For me, they came in when we were on our knees, saw the stadium to completion, have put in an okay amount of money, and the only time we've heard of anything he's said, it was declaring that last season was a failure, which we all agree with.

The owners should have Kinnear and the recruitment team all out the building before the weekend, but other than that, I'm not unhappy with what they've done.

I'm not loyal to them at all, though - so if there are other reasons to dislike them, then fair enough, but on the surface, i think they're not bad at all - they just need to get rid of some of the senior figures.

Not exactly Moyes's style, I know, but he needs to change and get creative. No more moaning, let's hope we can weather the storm.

Considering the better U21s, the ones who max out and are top of the class, at best go on loan to L1 or a lower Championship club. The gulf is vast. Let's not imagine yet another load of horsesh99 to beat DM with. Just say you don't like the guy, and move on, ffs.

Wish him the best of luck until the next transfer season. He will need it. At this stage, I think that we as Evertonians, regardless of our views about Moyes, need to support him 100%. He has been let down also and needs to know that the supporters are with him.

Had a couple of beers with him on occasion, just talked about football in general as a rule. Only time it was Everton specific was when Moshiri binned him off for Ancelloti. Enjoy yourself.
