I understand he hasn’t been as good as the turn of the year and he clearly won't be our striker moving forward but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t start Beto. He hasn’t been good this season but he does actually do things that create chances for himself and others, like if he didn’t get his header on target against Palace Jack wouldn’t have scored the winner.


I’ll be there today rooting for him and the rest of the team anyways. Until January he’s the best we’ve got who plays up front.

I’d like to see Garner at RB, nothing against JOB he’s a good player but he’s not a fullback. Garner’s delivery is exceptional and would give us an extra dimension.

However, I would imagine Grealish in the Charly and no other changes.

More of an attacking mid. Don't know about rave reviews, he is certainly good, is he better than our current midfield squad! my opinion is no but wouldn't weaken it and understandable why Moyes was in two minds.

Couldn’t care where he’s from. If he’s our player and playing well then we need to see if he can improve us. If he doesn’t then a decision will need to be made to stick or twist.

Hes 18 don’t think there is any rush as to whether he improves us right now. Lads learning his trade in the Championship, and doing really well. Next season will see him come into the squad and would not be surprised in the least to see him playing regularly.

Beto the ultimate enigma was scoring goals when moyes took over even with a lack of creativity in midfield, the creativity was vastly improved Beto didn’t, Barry is still to raw and yet to find his feet, there with betos I bet.
There’s a lot of panic here about strikers costing us points games, but where basically window 1 of the new regime and they seem to have a better handle on things than the last clown show.


Let’s judge next couple seasons as I feel this is more a get us stable season, make us a team players want to play for and not run a mile from.

Fans are demanding, we have moved forward that’s for sure. What’s glaringly obvious though is that we will not take another step forward without a new striker or two. I’ll reserve judgment on Barry, players aren’t robots, young chap in a new country, but you’d have to say he looks out of his depth on current showings. Beto has to go.

Not a case of panic Wolf mate more it’s so so annoying dropping points through lack of scoring we were the better Team in the first half against City but blew it with those two glaring misses in the first half, we did really well with the takeover and the new owners have spent well was always going to need a few windows to put our Team back to being in a better place, I love the footy we are playing now and a real pleasure to watch Jack, Ndiaye and Dewsbury Hall just want it to happen quick we are sooooooooooo close to being back with the so called big boys again, Father Christmas pleas can we have a new striker.

Watched the come back v Sheff Utd Swan. He never looks overawed when he plays and considering he is only 18 and playing in the most unforgiving position on the pitch, it is what impresses me most.

Great frame on the lad and looks to have the brain to go with it. Some of his passing is very intelligent and you would like to think he can only improve.

Great decision to send him out on loan rather than waste time in the U23's.

It is going to be interesting to see if we recall him in January regardless of any compensation we have to pay. We are going to lose several players to the African cup competition and depending on recruitment in the January window it may be prudent to bring him home but only if he will get games, agreed that he needs to play on a regular basis.

You can structure deals to spread cost these days, plus the sale of Goodison and naming rights should have improved our position. Feels like we have an astute team in charge now, finally, and they must be looking at our team and thinking wed be in the top 6 if we had a decent striker.

We could of had woltenmade for 30 million at start of summer. Then as Newcastle were desperate for a striker, they paid over double that we could of had him for. Then again there's no guarantees he would score for us.

Big weekend coming up and we welcome Spurs, going for a win as usual and this time a good win, Spurs we're mighty lucky against Monaco in midweek and can thank their Goalkeeper, Jack and Ndiaye to seal the win for us.

Vicario has been very dodgy this season so the Monaco game was hopefully a one off, we need to pressure them with set pieces. Romero will be out, Spence and Udogie are very quick but can be frustrated, fingers crossed we get some fouls off them and score a few goals.

Really hope for a goal from whoever is upfront, not likely, but would do the world of good.
