Morning all. I hear this morning we're going all out for Kurt Zouma, I personally think this will be as good as signing as any. Do any of the Ed's know if there's any truth to this?

Dog Puke Peter

{Ed025's Note - that all depends on lampard peter, we have a very good chance of landing zouma or tomori, he is prepared to let one of them go but which one only he knows, personally i would prefer tomori mate..

1.) 28 Sep 2020 09:07:08
Would prefer Tomori myself to be honest, better on the ball, less clumsy and just as quick

Hopefully be a loan with an option to buy

But Lampard is annoying because he changes his mind every 5 minutes

Remember last summer? Wanted to keep Zouma, then said he’d let him go, then said he wanted him again

If he messes us around again then just go for someone else.

2.) 28 Sep 2020 10:23:00
Tomori would be my pick as well but I can't see them selling him so it would only be a loan with no clause to buy. I'd rather recall Gibson and blood him in the first team squad rather than give a helping hand to Chelsea. Zouma wouldn't be a bad signing, he knows the club well and a manager like CA could improve him further. Any further developments on trimming the squad ed? I think it's likely that we need to get rid of a few before we look to buy any more players.

3.) 28 Sep 2020 10:27:27
I think Frank will be high up on 1st manager to get sacked list.
He has spent a fortune and I don’t think he has a clue how to organise a defence. They shed goals this season and last.
I don’t think he did enough at Derby to get Chelsea job - got it due to what he did as a player rather than coach.
Money he has spent he has nowhere to hide
Silva is a bad signing - he should have gone to Italy / MLS.
I think problem will be if they keep shipping goals - will they really want to sell a defender to a manager who is far superior - if I was Frank I’d be playing any player that Anciolotti wants to buy.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has addred a GK and three defenders who have yet to play.}

4.) 28 Sep 2020 09:09:01
Ok thanks Ed much appreciated mate. I haven’t seen so much of Tomori to be honest but another centre back can only be good news!

{Ed025's Note - hes not the tallest peter but hes very quick and good on the ball, a bit like ratters and for me just what we need mate..

5.) 28 Sep 2020 11:38:12
I'm not sure how anyone can say Lampard is up there to get sacked he has massively improved his squad and it will take time for them to gel.

6.) 28 Sep 2020 15:57:20
I wouldn't mind either one. Still concerned about the number 9 if we get injuries up front.

7.) 28 Sep 2020 17:41:00
I think we will get the Barcelona centre half and as we speak, can see Brands driving the asking price down and Barcelona need to offload, think we have more chance than trying to get one of the two Chelsea centre backs.

8.) 29 Sep 2020 16:16:11
Don't see us signing zouma or tomori from chelsea think with then getting shut of Rudiger they won't let zouma or tomori go we shouldn't spend to long presuming them and have us missing out on another cb like last year.

So according to Mr Allardyce no talks have taken place between himself and Everton Football Club. Thank God! Let's please keep it that way. It's so obvious he's so not the answer. Who the hell thought this one up!? Media, Bookmakers, Harry Hill?!?

Dog Puke Peter

1.) 07 Nov 2017 11:13:09
The problem is that one source makes up a story and then the others follow with "according to reports" and the false story takes on a life of it's own. On the other hand do we believe anything that Allardyce says? Ed. 025 some your statements indicate that you believe our next manager will be Allardyce. Is this just speculation on your behalf or do you have any inside information?

{Ed025's Note - i dont know whether you call it inside information or not mike but im being told that allardyce has been lined up with craig shakepeare as assistant mate, the information is i believe correct but i cant say it is set in stone..

2.) 07 Nov 2017 11:28:35
Let's hope not Ed. You are a good Evertonian like most of us and I just can't believe that Kenwright would sanction such a move. If he does I am finished with him and would want him out. I will never stop supporting Everton regardless of who is the manager but my support for those who make such a decision will be gone.

{Ed025's Note - i can only pass on information i receive mike and im as saddened as you on what seems to me like a backwards step appointment mate, i dont want to be the purveyor of bad news but its no use me telling lies either..

3.) 07 Nov 2017 12:40:43
Appreciate all the information that you Ed's pass on Ed025. Was not having a go at you mate, just can't believe that the club would pick such a candidate.

{Ed025's Note - hes certainly a candidate mike..

4.) 07 Nov 2017 12:59:43
BlueMike, surely as majority shareholder, the final say or sanction would rest with Moshiri and not Kenwright.

5.) 07 Nov 2017 16:45:05
Agreed bullenroadboy but look at the two of them against Watford, like bosom buddies. Kenwright must still have some influence and I just hope that he pulls the plug on Allerdyce.

6.) 07 Nov 2017 23:39:57
i listened to the conversation with him on talksport, sounded to me that moshiri's mate jim whyte was taking it with a pinch of salt.

Hi all. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows what is happening with our main shirt sponsor? I read that we have Stake for another year until the end of next season (25-26) but I guess I was just hoping that that isn't the case.
For me not only does it make every kit we have look ugly but they're also not exactly covering themselves in glory at the moment are they?
Thanks.

Dog Puke Peter

1.) 27 Mar 2025 12:57:03
The sleeve sponsor ‘kick’ is Everton’s official streaming sponsor - owned by the owner of Stake.

2.) 27 Mar 2025 19:37:06
Bad business getting into bed with Stake. Wish we could do better. I’d take the airplane comp if they sponsor the stadium and squeeze another large amount of money from them.

10 points! What a joke the premier league really is. Be very interesting to see what happens to Man City then!? At a guess *** nothing. Gutted to say the least.

Can I ask someone if we actually tabled a bid for the Coventry striker? Cause from what I'm hearing we were interested in January and the only report coming out that we made an actual official bid recently has come from a Portuguese newspaper. Low and behold a week later he signs for Sporting. I'm not so sure that post FL we were even as interested as we were in January and this was just another media story. With all that being said if there was a bid then I'll take it all back, I'm just personally finding it hard to believe that we even tabled a bid for the lad recently.

Dog Puke Peter

1.) 08 Jul 2023 10:39:36
What does it matter?
He’s gone to sporting.

2.) 08 Jul 2023 11:10:52
All speculation DPP mate, Sean will have his shopping list.

3.) 08 Jul 2023 11:38:25
Changed managers since then. I mean think about it, would Dyche have bought Maupay?

4.) 08 Jul 2023 12:56:41
He was considered too expensive last summer and has gone to sorting for a similar fee.

5.) 08 Jul 2023 12:26:00
Just seen him in Aldi with his shopping list GB.

6.) 09 Jul 2023 09:14:58
More like Home and Bargain glt59.

7.) 09 Jul 2023 11:32:38
Think we’re looking in the charity shops lads.

8.) 09 Jul 2023 21:57:30
Cause I wanted to know Gingerdan. It may also indicate if we can afford to bid this much for a player this summer. Maybe thought one of the Eds could shed some light.

Rip Walter Smith. Very sad to hear of his passing this morning.

Guess we’re in the minority Dan but I’d keep Beto for annother season also. I think he would be a decent squad player/ sub being that he’s started banging in goals this year.
I also think in this day and age finding a player that actually wants to play for the shirt is a rarity.
On another note if it’s true Doucs isn’t willing to take a pay cut then it’s a goodbye from the lot of us I think ??.

O’Brien is at the level needed. Bought from Lyon, straight into the first team squad and selected when our manager thought he was ready to play. Our manager will play the players that are at the level needed for the premier league. Unfortunately although good players a lot of the U21 won’t get a look in and will be sold as they are not at this level regardless of how young they are. That’s why we buy players like Ashley Young.

Roman Dixon although a good player is clearly not the right level needed for the premier league. He’s 21 this year so if he was good enough he’d already be a regular in the first team squad wouldn’t he. At a guess he’ll eventually be sold to a lower league club like Simms (not good enough) .
Some footballers are obviously better than others.
I find on this site a lot of fans just want to play players cause they’re young but in reality it doesn’t matter how young they are they have to be at the right level.
We need to buy a right back who’s not just good enough but who’s first choice.
Patterson’s not good enough either.

I’ve got us signing a forward and selling Beto on the last day of the window. I think it will be the Rangers lad. I also personally think Willian (as long as his wages aren’t sky high) can still pick a pass and would add a little depth to an already bare minimum squad, unless he has found another club already?

I don’t buy into the injury plagued player bit either, at all and imo in this day in age 40 million for Richarlison is a bargain and my original point a better option and much less of a gamble than buying Evan Ferguson for 30 million.
Time will tell I guess or hope!

Injured or he didn’t fancy it for them GB? Also what is this major injury he had for Spuds ? it certainly wasn’t career threatening.
In my opinion and the majority of fans at the game yesterday this deal is a no brainer. I haven’t heard anything as of yet but I’d go as far as saying I’m confident he’ll be in a blue shirt again next season, it will be a blessing.

I don’t think we should be gambling at all in my opinion (been there and done that) and from what I’ve seen of him I don’t even understand the hype.
Spend the 40 on Richarlison. He’s proven, he’s in his prime at 28 and he already knows what playing for Everton is all about. I personally loved how 30,000 plus fans were back singing his chant yesterday, I just feel we should change one of the lines to “we shafted spurs 20 million, we think he’s f brilliant …. ” ?
I got him in the starting 11 in the first game at the dixie
Bring him home. UTFT ?.

Wayne Rooney and Harrison Armstrong (although both excellent players) are on different levels. Braiden’s the closest player I’ve seen in my lifetime that’s anywhere near WR at 17 years old (who also didn’t get loaned out at all) . I don’t agree and I still could be wrong but I’d put good money on BG being involved in the first team squad next season.

I still believe we will make room for Braiden Graham in the first team squad next season. The kids going to be a star.
