So according to Mr Allardyce no talks have taken place between himself and Everton Football Club. Thank God! Let's please keep it that way. It's so obvious he's so not the answer. Who the hell thought this one up!? Media, Bookmakers, Harry Hill?!?

1.) 07 Nov 2017 11:13:09
The problem is that one source makes up a story and then the others follow with "according to reports" and the false story takes on a life of it's own. On the other hand do we believe anything that Allardyce says? Ed. 025 some your statements indicate that you believe our next manager will be Allardyce. Is this just speculation on your behalf or do you have any inside information?

{Ed025's Note - i dont know whether you call it inside information or not mike but im being told that allardyce has been lined up with craig shakepeare as assistant mate, the information is i believe correct but i cant say it is set in stone..

2.) 07 Nov 2017 11:28:35
Let's hope not Ed. You are a good Evertonian like most of us and I just can't believe that Kenwright would sanction such a move. If he does I am finished with him and would want him out. I will never stop supporting Everton regardless of who is the manager but my support for those who make such a decision will be gone.

{Ed025's Note - i can only pass on information i receive mike and im as saddened as you on what seems to me like a backwards step appointment mate, i dont want to be the purveyor of bad news but its no use me telling lies either..

3.) 07 Nov 2017 12:40:43
Appreciate all the information that you Ed's pass on Ed025. Was not having a go at you mate, just can't believe that the club would pick such a candidate.

{Ed025's Note - hes certainly a candidate mike..

4.) 07 Nov 2017 12:59:43
BlueMike, surely as majority shareholder, the final say or sanction would rest with Moshiri and not Kenwright.

5.) 07 Nov 2017 16:45:05
Agreed bullenroadboy but look at the two of them against Watford, like bosom buddies. Kenwright must still have some influence and I just hope that he pulls the plug on Allerdyce.

6.) 07 Nov 2017 23:39:57
i listened to the conversation with him on talksport, sounded to me that moshiri's mate jim whyte was taking it with a pinch of salt.

Apparently West Ham are after Schneiderlin before the window closes. Please God 🙏🏻.

Dog Puke Peter

1.) 29 Jan 2018 14:51:49
If Schneiderlin goes, this will be our most productive window in a while.

2.) 29 Jan 2018 15:05:16
If we all throw a fiver in we should meet his valuation and give him to West Ham, reckon 15 quid should do it.

3.) 29 Jan 2018 15:37:14
I just hope we do not haggle and try and squeeze more, take the £20 Million and invest, or bring Beningame or Rooney into the vacant place.

4.) 29 Jan 2018 17:25:31
Can you guys please STOP! West ham might read this forum and realise he's rubbish and change their minds!

20 Jan 2018 15:39:57
Take arguably our best player and our top goal scorer out the team and expect to have more than a shot on target in the first half at Home against a lame West Brom side (this is how bad it's got) . Sams obv had his beer goggles on again starting with arguably our worst player and worst candidate for left back in the team #rollonthesummer.

Big Sam's ruled himself out the job. Hip hip .

Does anyone know if there have been any dramatic change in our hunt for a manager? DU is very very short with the bookmakers now and I stand to win a hell of a lot of money if and when he's appointed? Still my no 1 choice regardless. Be greatful for any information 👍🏻.

Dog Puke Peter

1.) 08 Nov 2017 17:27:45
As much as I hope you win the wad DPP. I would think this would be Moshi rolling the dice in the hope Unsy keeps us up till the end of the season. Because he can't get the man he really wants now.
Personnally I would rather we got this right now, not keen on rolling a dice.

2.) 08 Nov 2017 18:30:58
Maybe giving Unsy another 4 games could be an option. That would give going to chance to get some results but if it doesn't happen then still plenty of time to appoint an allardyce type.

{Ed025's Note - fair shout mate..

3.) 08 Nov 2017 19:58:41
Looking at the fixtures we could actually give him 7 games up to and including the derby game. A couple of Euro games in there to get some time into the squad players. After the derby there are some winnable games for the then manager if it isn't Unsy.

4.) 08 Nov 2017 21:32:17
Not sure I agree with giving managers monthly extensions. Players need to know what is going on long term, otherwise they will lose focus. Lose focus, lose games. We just can't afford for that to happen.

5.) 08 Nov 2017 22:20:52
I agree to some extent but there just aren't enough quality managers to pick from mid season. Who can we realistically get in now to take us forward for the next 3 years or so. Unsworth can have the job for the rest of the season or longer if he can get the team playing well and get the confidence levels up. One thing we don't know about this squad is how good they are as a team. We might just find there is a really good team in there somewhere once some confidence comes back.

6.) 08 Nov 2017 23:25:38
Agree with what your saying Smit, but we can't lose sight of the fact we were lucky against Watford. Had there keeper not gone off and then that penalty miss. And games prior to that we have been pants. So sorry don't see Unsy as much as I love him, is the one.

7.) 09 Nov 2017 06:54:54
I know we were lucky and Unsy team selection has been a bit suspect too but I think the guys just need their confidence back and we have a good run of games up to the derby to get some confidence back. I wouldn't give him the job because I think it's too early for him. What scares me though is the thought of Allardyce coming in or us giving a 3 year contract to some unproven manager. If the right manager can be got then I'm all for it but I just can't see who we can get right now.

8.) 09 Nov 2017 08:35:24
Thanks for the feedback. I’m now hearing it’s because the board are split. You never know what to believe! I agree on at very least giving him a run of games. I think he’ll pleasantly surprise a lot of us. COYB!

02 Nov 2017 16:51:59
COYB! With more than a handful of days preparation for Rhino and the team (so he's been in the caretaker role for a week) I have a good feeling tonight. Just put a bullseye on DU becoming our next manager at 18/ 1 cause I firmly believe we will play a lot better tonight and we'll grab a much needed win at the wkd now he's had a bit more time with the squad. c'mon Everton! 👍🏻.

Because stats don’t lie. Even though he had an eleven year reign his win percentage is higher than the past few managers we’ve had. He also knows the club and wants the job. All that being said I’d have Ancelotti over him every day of the week. Moyes done very well with limited funds whilst he was here, this is why he was got the United job!

Be nice to see if Kean was a 20 goal a season striker to be fair but it seems like our manager would rather spend millions on a bench.

I don’t think you’ll get many fans disagreeing with that one Blue-tit. Quite sure we’ll be adding Delph to that list after a run of games as well. I still can’t believe he cost us under 10 million. I seriously don’t want to jinx anything but I can honestly see a comfortable win for us on Sunday with Wolves just starting they’re second season syndrome.
COYB.

Dog Puke Peter

{Ed025's Note - they also have europa to deal with as well peter so i think we have a decent chance for a victory mate..

Nice post Guernsey. For the simple fact that it saves reading that ridiculous last post about us being behind everyone else every time I load up the rumours page. Since then yes we lost away to villa but Utd lost at home, wolves scraped a draw at home, spurs lost at home, arsenal lost which leaves the top two again. It proves that the ‘currently behind’ post was absolute garbage. Best bets to evaluate where we and everyone else is after 10 games, not 2!

I understand what he’s saying. As soon as some players are at late 20’s, early 30’s some fans write them off for being too old or ‘past it’ which is absolute rubbish. Most the best players in Europe are around these sorts of ages, the two obvious ones are few years older 🤷🏻‍♂️.

I don’t see how DCL’s just a ‘good sub’. For me he’s a great player, still very young and 9 times out of 10 plays the shift up top on his own, before he started scoring this season I actually would of said the same thing. I think he’s underrated and we’re lucky to have him. Not that we’re anywhere near the top 4 anyway but I’d put him ahead of Abraham at the minute and he’d probably get a game at spurs cause of there situation too. That being said, just ones opinion 👍🏻.

I’m a little surprised and made up Carlo’s our new manager and as far as experience goes I don’t think we could of hired any better, not to mention the success he’s had in his career so far. A big step up in class if you ask me. Don’t think Bonnie Langford would ever cut it as a premier league manager anyways, she’s much better off in the theatres. Reckon that was just the kenwright link :) Merry xmas all! Get drunk.

Dog Puke Peter

{Ed025's Note - merry xmas peter mate..

I’m not. I’m sorry but how can bringing Moyes back be a backwards step, we’re in the bottom 3 for Christ sake. Yes when he left us he was trying to buy the players HE brought to Everton and for not enough money but I remember him saying when he left that he felt he couldn’t take us any further with the resources available (at the time) . A lot of managers go to different clubs and try to sign the players they signed beforehand, I don’t get it. I’ve been an Evertonian since before the 1995 fa cup final and since then the best I’ve seen us play was under his management. We can’t be picky now. It’s my own opinion but I say bring him back asap with Tim as his assistant. It will be a massive step up on what we have now. Marco Silva is a fraud.
