I never thought I would say it but I would have Moyes back right now at least his team could defend. With the transfer window opening soon I would not let Silva spend any more but would give Moyes a budget to get us out of the mire. Don't shout at me too loud because in an ideal world no blue nose would want him back in our club. I personaly would like Raga but can't Ser that happening, as for the rest that are mentioned Dyche, Hughes, Howe not for me thanks.

1.) 05 Dec 2019 09:57:08
Diego Simeone being mentioned in some of the papers, very much doubt we’d be able to get him or he’d want to come to us but if he did that’s the sort of manager would love to see on the touch line with his passion.

2.) 05 Dec 2019 10:01:37
Rafa not Raga, predictive text grrrr.

3.) 05 Dec 2019 10:28:44
going back to moyes means taking not only a step back, but 6 years back. listen we're lucky in the fact that the league is so tight this year that we don't have to make the firefighter appointment if he's gone today.

4.) 05 Dec 2019 12:49:02
Moyes had no huge amounts of money to spend when he was with us! As long as he can keep us in the prem who cares! The top 4 are already established. as for the rest, it's a relegation battle.

5.) 05 Dec 2019 13:37:20
Actually going back to Moyes and if he was able to put us back where he left us would be a step forward as we’ve regressed since he left!

6.) 05 Dec 2019 14:25:20
Why Moyes? he left us, said we where holding back players, how many times has he been sacked? NO WAY.

7.) 05 Dec 2019 14:42:21
ahahaha moyes didn't have huge amounts to spend with us! doesn't matter! he had huge amounts to spend at united how'd that turn out! a david moyes everton in this day and age is no better than sean dyche's burnley sorry to break it to you the leagues changed. when we used to hit fifth, that was before city had their riches and before spurs knew what to do. not forgetting wolves leicester all in the mix now xD.

8.) 05 Dec 2019 15:07:10
It is about survival and Moyes is a good solid manager who knows how to defend. He is available and knows the league we do not have time for a new manager to learn about the prem.
It looks like Moyes so please lads let's get behind him and the players, no booing no walking out let's be all as one and keep Everton in the prem.

9.) 05 Dec 2019 16:00:03
David Moyes to assist Arteta till end of season.

10.) 06 Dec 2019 01:31:40
Funny isn't it

Dark Clouds calling for unity.

11.) 06 Dec 2019 14:45:33
I allways have done, with unity we could have avoided this mess and got rid of Silva sooner. I love Everon more than most of you I do believe.

If ever it was proved zonal marking doesn't work with the players we have it was tonight. Something has to go the zonal marking or the players to get the ones who are comfortable with it. For me the it's the zonal that has to go.

1.) 27 Jan 2019 08:36:54
Get rid of silva that’s the answer we have talented players but in my eyes looks like we doing a Man U players not wanting to play for the manager think our players got a no confidence attitude to silva net the end of the window no players coming in can’t see silva getting any money next few weeks depending on results can’t see silva being manager any more sorry I know we should and give him time but would u keep him and risk being dragged into a relegation scrap Man U sorted them selves out couldn’t win no confidence now new manager can’t lose sos not save our souls save our season silva out just my opinion who agrees.

2.) 27 Jan 2019 14:40:34
They stopped playing for Koeman. And Unsworth. The issue is with the players and the ‘old boy network’ of coaching staff.
We can’t keep changing managers because the players don’t want him.

They showed last night what a gutless, leaderless bunch of average players they are.

Get rid of Ferguson, Jeffers, etc - what have they ever won? What leadership qualities do they have?
Get rid of Pickford, Keane, Gylfi, Gueye, Etc etc.

We can’t keep blaming managers and the players getting away Scot free.

3.) 27 Jan 2019 18:00:57
good post dave w why do we always love losers at everton is it the losers mentality that we have.

2.) 10 Aug 2018 15:26:03
Silva saying it’s almost done on a well known sports news channel website transfer pages.

3.) 10 Aug 2018 14:32:19

4.) 10 Aug 2018 16:10:32
Club announcement it done👍.

5.) 10 Aug 2018 17:07:05
Who's got the keys to my Zouma?
Wicked! Yes @EFC brilliant window. Sorry I ever doubted you.

Gonna be a nervy one tomorrow as our line up will be mostly the old guard. But optimism has return3d and i am looking forward to my weekends again. Got a little bit bleak last time out.

13 Jun 2018 12:21:44
EFC are putting an event on to try and find a bone marrow match for a lifelong blue, It's at the Quaker Centre school Lane city centre (behind Next store) Friday 15th June 11am-7pm. Richie Bollard is 33 and has a young family so come on blues, reds or any family/ friends you can take along with you.

1.) 14 Jun 2018 10:32:45
glt59, I would like to go along and see if I can help, but I was a smoker until very recently. I've tried looking up online, but can't find whether this would be a problem?

2.) 14 Jun 2018 17:33:59
It's worth a trip Toffee or just a phone call to find out but I can't see why they would say no to the test, thanks.

25 May 2018 11:08:54
Why oh why do we take forever if it is to be Silva get it done the man is out of work so no ties, doesn't matter what Watford say they sacked him!

glt59

1.) 25 May 2018 12:14:06
I thought Brands was looking at his options for manager I could be wrong though. Why should there be such a rush over such an important decision?

2.) 25 May 2018 13:11:18
By all accounts it will be announced when Brands officially starts work on the 1st. Just what I read in an article.

3.) 25 May 2018 17:04:58
I also heard that Silva can talk to anyone after 1st June and was just put on gardening leave, hence the delay!

4.) 25 May 2018 18:07:29
Arteta was interviewed yesterday.

5.) 25 May 2018 19:01:06
Yeh and i was interviewed yesterday, £9.50 an hr, shove it.

6.) 25 May 2018 21:10:01
Rather Arteta than Silva for me.

{Ed025's Note - im the opposite myself DC..

7.) 25 May 2018 23:09:24
Arteta has NO EXPERIENCE and as for people saying Silva has not ties tell Watford that they are the ones trying to get compo for him.

8.) 25 May 2018 23:18:33
Let's be honest gents. Anyone is better than fat Sam.

9.) 25 May 2018 23:39:19
If Arteta didn’t want to work under a DOF at Arsenal, would he take the Everton job?

10.) 26 May 2018 01:07:45
it wadnt because he wouldn't work under a DOF at all.

11.) 26 May 2018 00:20:16
I am sure Ed there are many different opinions out there at the end of the day Mr Moshiri has to get it right, after last season we cannot afford to get it wrong.

{Ed025's Note - its a massive decision DC, get it right and we are back on track to maybe become one of the elite clubs who can attract the better players and at least threaten the big 5, get it wrong and its another few years in the doldrums mate..

12.) 26 May 2018 23:28:09
I’m struggling to think of who we could get who is better.

Benitez - risks splitting support. Can see people turning on him quickly due to his managerial history which could create a further toxic environment at games.

Dyche and Howe - similar to Moyes in my opinion. Would they attract the big names to match the ambition of Moshiri?

Arteta - is he experienced enough as a manager yet?

Simeone, Luis Enrique, Fonseca or any European based manager - have no premiership experience so would be a risk. Plus, who says they would come? We didn’t give Koeman long and in the public eye we have dealt with Allardyce badly.

Sounds like Silva wants to come. He has some premiership experience. Is he less of a risk?

I think we all agree that after the last 3 seasons, we could do with sticking with someone for a few years. Silva needs to repair his reputation so it could be a long term plan for him also.

Like it’s bedn said already: he’s a step up from Allardyce.

This side of Everton in the community is fantastic and when we look back at Kenrights time as owner this is his biggest legacy and makes me very proud.
Yes others do this now but we where true pioneers.
My pride in Everton is so great and none of my remarks about the present regime and attitudes can change this. WE ARE EVERTON.

13 Aug 2019 08:40:32
Any buy back or sell on fee for Onyekuru?

glt59

1.) 13 Aug 2019 09:51:57
I were going to ask the same question, hopefully a buy back clause once he’s won the league with Monaco. So unfortunate that we have to sell him.

05 Aug 2019 12:47:04
Does anyone know of an EFC bar in New York that shows the games. I'm away in September for my 60th but gutted that I miss a game. I have been to Mr Deneheys in the past but this bar has now closed.

glt59

1.) 05 Aug 2019 12:57:26
Go to NYC Evertonians site and get a definite guide there. Off again in June so doesn't bother me LOL.

2.) 05 Aug 2019 13:30:30
