Linked with Pape Sarr from Metz don't know much about the kid 27 million pound being mooted by the press.

Brankwymoordock

{Ed002's Note - Pape Matar Sarr (DM) Metz don't want to sell after only signing the youngster last summer but if a good offer were made they would consider it. Unlikely to qualify for a Work Permit in England and one who will be off to AFCON although Everton will seek an exemption if they can reach agreement over price.

I cannot imagine anyone would be looking for £27M.}

1.) 27 Apr 2021 10:11:28
Cheers ED02 👍👍 appreciate the reply.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

07 Apr 2021 17:25:24
ED02 have you got a sharkpod in the pipeline for us bud and quick question according to a journalist called Duncan Castles Wolves are looking to sell quite a few players Like Neves, Traore and Neto would we be interested in any of these I would love Neves and Neto but can't see us affording them.

Brankwymoordock

{Ed002's Note - There will be be a sharkopod in the coming weeks. I don't know what has been said but I expect Traore will be available and Klopp has had his tongue down his throat in the past and could look to him. I don't think they will look to sell Neves. The advantage Neto has is that he could prove a cost efficient alternative to Sancho and Grealish the Manchester clubs having watched him but his agent wanting a deal with another club. I would not expect any to be moving to Everton.}

1.) 10 Apr 2021 12:45:21
Cheers ED02 will look forward to the sharkpod and the klopp having his tongue down the throat made me laugh.

Rumours Gueye wants to come back now him and a striker would be a great last day.

Brankwymoordock

1.) 31 Jan 2021 20:14:20
Is that in the press, would take him back.

2.) 31 Jan 2021 21:38:58
He is going to Newcastle, it’s a striker we need get in before the window closes.

3.) 31 Jan 2021 22:08:04
We don’t need another holding midfielder.

4.) 31 Jan 2021 22:34:36
I'd rather have gueye playing instead of Davies. If we go 433 then a midfield trio of Gueye, Allan and Doucoure would be better than having siggy, Davies and even Gomes in there.

5.) 01 Feb 2021 00:50:55
He has turned Newcastle down, could be worth a cheeky loan.

6.) 01 Feb 2021 08:11:18
If have him back in a heart beat. Some urgency in the middle of the park. Him and Allan together wound be a battle for any team. Gomes doesn’t have 90 minutes in him and Tom doesn’t have 10. Get it done and get in a forward player too. Forget the negativity, 7th and Europa league is possible and would be progress and something to build on in the summer.

7.) 01 Feb 2021 09:31:54
Gueye on loan is a no brainer we still haven't replaced him and have missed him massively. I think no team would like playing against a midfield of Allen, doucoure and gueye and this would also free doucoure up to be more attack minded and break into the box a lot more.

8.) 01 Feb 2021 11:03:45
Allan gueye an doucore in midfield
Can someone tell me Wer the creativity is gona come from or are just gona defend for 90mins gueye is not a option we have to many holding midfielders a attacker is priority use your heads.

9.) 01 Feb 2021 14:51:24
They will have James play number 10 and watch him get kicked to bits. Really need a playmaker you know someone like Erikson for instance. Oh and a right back and a striker too please.

05 Jan 2021 09:44:26
Darren Bent has told football insider that Harry Winks will be signing for Everton.

Brankwymoordock

1.) 05 Jan 2021 10:34:02
Darren Bent😂.

2.) 05 Jan 2021 10:59:21
Brass, When I read what he wrote in 'Football Insider' I thought 'Chinese whispers' and Darren Bent the perfect combination 🤭.

3.) 05 Jan 2021 12:06:15
I can’t see a rival in the premier league will be keen to do business with us in January as they’d be potentially strengthening our team which may negatively impact their own team.

01 Jan 2021 15:04:46
Tosun Linked with West Brom not sure if it's because Gravy tits is there but if true surely we must have a striker lined up.

Brankwymoordock

1.) 01 Jan 2021 21:15:19
Simms or Richarlison for me. I'd rather what money we have get spent on a midfielder who can make a pass forward.

2.) 02 Jan 2021 10:15:14
Simms inexperienced at this level but dose seem to be adept at finding the back of the net I would try him out in the fa cup see how he dose before having him step up to the senior team. West Brom only want to take tosun on loan so would doubt that happening we need more pace and creativity in are team if we make any transfers In january. Dose anyone know what has happened with gabamin is he injured again?

3.) 02 Jan 2021 15:10:22
Agree Dave Simms not experienced enough for the 1st team and Ricky doesn’t seem arsed these days, I reckon if Carlo is letting Cenk go he must have replacement lined up mate.

4.) 02 Jan 2021 22:16:38
Gravy tits 😂😂😂.

{Ed0666's Note - gravy tits 😂😂😂

5.) 03 Jan 2021 12:07:49
I reckon gravy tits is best post I’ve seen on here - it’s had me in tears 😭.

So the big 6 get off Scott free with a slap on the wrist and told don't be naughty again the 6 owners must be laughing their heads off plotting their next move and I for one will happily wave them off while Uefa cry and tell the world they are ruining football and after letting them get away with it this time I don't think most fans will care.

Brankwymoordock

1.) 09 May 2021 07:29:47
Branky. Hard to punish an act when nothing actually happened. Fixtures were fulfilled, no withdrawals from FIFA, FA or EUFA competitions.

2.) 09 May 2021 15:47:39
They signed a contract bud so did break the rules.

23 Apr 2021 10:56:36
Ed's if the 6 clubs have left the European club association (I think that's what it is called) does that have any implications on European football or can they just sign up again.

Brankwymoordock

{Ed002's Note - It has no significance.}

1.) 23 Apr 2021 11:37:13
Cheers ED02 just wondered 👍.

2.) 23 Apr 2021 20:20:17
In short nothing happened in fact.

3.) 23 Apr 2021 20:50:22
I think it did Bill, just see the protests at Arsenal. I think the six started a backlash that will continue.

4.) 23 Apr 2021 21:15:09
Nope nothing happened ergo no punishment.

5.) 23 Apr 2021 21:59:01
So their fans r trying to get a backlash against their own clubs?
It’s done!
6 dirty **** but there will be no punishment as end of day they haven’t actually done anything except been mouthy persons on paper.

6.) 24 Apr 2021 10:45:58
I am with you Mike, they need to know that the limit of their anti-sporting desires have been reached and to call it all off or bugger off once and for all!
Otherwise they will try something else just as selfish and just as cynical.

7.) 25 Apr 2021 11:42:52
I don't think any other punishment will be dished out they have broken rule L9 IMO with signing a contract to join the superleague but I don't think some clubs have the balls to dish out sanctions and will be happy with the removal of CEO's and Chairman's and having a bit more power not what i want to happen as I feel points deductions transfer embargos and european bans being handed out should of been dished out.

16 Apr 2021 22:00:12
Once again we are let down this time by Holgate and Keane who between them were embarrassing with the goals conceded add iwobi into the mix who adds nothing then I'm not shocked at all I have no idea what Carlo sees in him 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️.

Brankwymoordock

1.) 16 Apr 2021 22:22:41
I’m not sure Carlo knows either. He must be amazing in training because on the pitch, he’s atrocious.

{Ed0666's Note - maybe his only virtue is he’s fit hence game time?

2.) 16 Apr 2021 22:25:54
He doesn't see, but Carlo's MO is not to trust youngsters I. E. under 23's.

3.) 16 Apr 2021 22:49:01
Ed0666, no idea of your level or experience mate but your reference to fit albeit with some hint of negativity has merit. My level was combined Forces so I suppose semi pro, my honest opinion of myself is/ was I was crap to mediocre skill wise but very very fit. Currently look at Leeds, a good coach that knows, yes skill is good but you need fitness and speed to apply. Somehow somewhere Everton need to grasp this.

{Ed0666's Note - my comment had no irony or negativity mate. These are physically demanding times, just to have a player who isn’t injured is a blessing, square pegs in round holes is a luxury in these trying times.

4.) 17 Apr 2021 07:41:45
I don't even remember posting this last night ha ha but I have just woke up and had a JD and coke for breakfast and I'm still gutted we didn't take 3 points for me it shows what having a Harry Kane in your team does for you if that was the other way round we would of lost 2 nil that's not a dig a Lewin just an observation but I have seen signs of progress this season we can match the big teams we just need to finish the so called lesser teams off and we need to be more cynical but 7 games to go let's see what happens COYB.

5.) 17 Apr 2021 07:27:45
Wasn't criticism ed0666 I wholly take your point. Just noticed the question mark. Some of my comments were induced by fresh air and Friday night beers!

{Ed0666's Note - oh that’s right you guys are allowed out of you’re house now and go to the pub now is that right? If that’s the case I hope you’re enjoying you’re new found liberty my friend. Alcahol, grammes and punctuation aren’t always a marriage made in heaven. I can’t even do it when I’m sober 😂

06 Apr 2021 08:59:01
Did Roy Hodgson watch a different game to everyone else when asked if he felt lucky to get something out of the game he said no we had as much possession and as many chances as Everton.

Brankwymoordock

{Ed077's Note - Palace were fortunate to not have a similar scoreline to the CP-Liverpool game. Everton should have been out of sight by half time.}

1.) 06 Apr 2021 09:29:14
Branks, I gave up listening to Hodgson before his England tenure expired (or should I say before he did a runner after the Iceland game? )
I have no respect for him or his utterings he is just another 'Big Sam' with only slight differences imo.

2.) 06 Apr 2021 10:04:44
He's only doing what all managers do in bigging up his team. it's not his fault we couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo.

3.) 06 Apr 2021 10:48:41
He forgot to mention that though, funny that .

4.) 06 Apr 2021 11:46:28
I may be in the minority here.
As dreadful as palace and Roy’s tactics are he did actually make 3 positive substitutions all attacking players and actually got something out of the game.
We didn’t take our chances and got punished and Olsen actually made 2 decent saves to keep us in the game.
Would be nice if we had made some positive substitutions rather than defensive ones.

5.) 06 Apr 2021 16:15:14
I am afraid would of, could of, doesn't cut it with me. Top sides find a way to win, leaving the rest fighting for the middle ground. What our lot need is not platitudes but a Fergy hairdrier and a few home truths and maybe a sports psychologist.

6.) 08 Apr 2021 00:31:26
Top post bill, totally agree. There seems to be an inherent mental weakness running through this team. I think carlo has improved us in areas but a long long way to go. The results kind of back the offensive issues up. Not once this season has a performance convinced me that we are much better than last season as we haven't steamrolled anybody. Talk before the city Dortmund game re haaland hating losing and wanting to score goal after goal. I don't see that with everton.

08 Mar 2021 20:32:22
I checked the live chat once and I have to say it was embarrassing we are not at Chelsea's level I expected top 8 this season the fact we are fighting for top 4 is amazing and fans need to realise that. We can not compete with the likes of Chelsea city utd spurs Liverpool ect the fact we are in there should be something we enjoy. now as for tonights game that's not costing us top 4 it was always a tall ask beating Chelsea who have just taken a manager on who going by ED02s take will always get an uplift when he first goes in so they must be favourites for top 4 and we need to be ready if UTD Leicester or Chelsea slip up it's a massive learning curve for this group of players and we will improve each season UTFT let's enjoy this and keep pushing.

Brankwymoordock

1.) 08 Mar 2021 20:43:05
Didn’t look like we were fighting for anything tonight.

2.) 08 Mar 2021 20:51:30
100 % agree pal. I looked on some FB posts and it's embarrassing, fans turning on each other! Couple more windows we'll be up there again under Carlo. According to one post I wear Carlo tinted specs 🤷‍♂️.

3.) 08 Mar 2021 21:08:12
Lancerboy it's shocking how some fans behave just to be in with a chance of top 4 is beyond what we expected and a reality check is needed and Woburn just what did you expect we would run riot Carlo has worked miracles getting us this far all I have seen so far for the last few weeks is yeah we won but Gomes was crap or Davies was crap and Sigs was crap and Iwobi was crap tell ya what why not just enjoy the ride we are on if we finish in the top 4 let's enjoy it if we don't and we finish top 8 let's applaud the efforts of the whole squad and Carlos.

4.) 08 Mar 2021 21:25:59
Great post mate.

5.) 08 Mar 2021 21:46:58
i don't understand the logic of giving chelsea the posesion to just hit us we could of tried chasing the ball down but we didn't as for player performance there was 2 that really frustrated me tonight one was gomes again every time he gets the ball never passes the ball forward always back what c. a sees in him over davies i don't know and alex iwobi arsenal fans must be buzzing with us buying him all he has got is pace can't pass cross tackle sooner the season finishes and we can try resell some these players the better.

6.) 09 Mar 2021 07:51:32
I agree Andy Iwobi has gone back to his poor self again Gomes is off the pace but will get my backing for the time being as I still think his injury last year is effecting him regarding sitting back and letting Chelsea have the ball we have done all season because we can't match them head on but I agree the closing down wasn't good enough last night but let's try and win sat and see how the other ls get on all we can do is take 1 game at a time.

7.) 09 Mar 2021 08:51:29
In answer I expected to see the players at least make a effort. And can we stop using Gomes injury as the reason he’s not fit. He is just slow and cannot match the pace of Prem midfielders. We have had luck on our side these last couple of matches, last night it ran out. If you can’t see that you are blind to the bloody obvious.
I mean just look at our goal difference. How many goals come from our midfield in open play? In fact it’s so bad people are even talking about extending Siggys contract?
I was told the other day we were a great team. No we are not. We are a good team on occasions, and an average team most of the time. Which is fine as there are a lot of crap teams in the league this season.
Will Carlo get it right? Who knows. But looking at our bench last night I would suggest it might take longer than people think.

8.) 09 Mar 2021 10:41:58
Maybe other supporters just had higher expectations. After all it's the club that have been pushing for European football. So it's only natural that supporters would expect it as well.

9.) 09 Mar 2021 13:46:25
No-one should be using Gomes injury as a reason for poor performances. I love the fella but face facts, he is not good enough anymore. He's been back for over a YEAR! Again last night he was giving the ball away in dangerous positions and getting caught. All I would say is last night we had to play him due to Dacoure. Just don't make out we can accommodate playing someone hoping one day he will light up the pitch again.

I felt last night Chelsea were very good with the ball and had better composure. We gave the ball away cheaply and too often but also were not brave enough when we had it. That's not good enough and nothing to do with talent or the opposition.
We will learn over time and Carlo will start to instil that in the players.

Some players like Digne, Gomes, Holgate and Iwobi let themselves down because they didn't perform as they should and that is fine to point out.

The positives were Pickford, Godfrey and Allan and Davies coming back. Which is also fine to point out.

ED02 I get what JBtoffee is saying in that the FA need these clubs as they are massive and bring in the most viewers and sponsorship if they did break rule L9 could they then be deducted points ect I just don't see how losing a vote at the table is a big enough deterent for them to try again in the future.

Brankwymoordock

{Ed002's Note - So you are talking about the FA and not the Premier League which is what JBtoffee was saying? You alll seem to be rather confused. and I am not sure what the point being made really is.}

Hello Shadow bud Holgate is a strange one for me last season he was our best CB IMO then he got injured and he's come back like he's as good as Nesta or Ramos when he's really on par with Alec Cleland he strokes round chewing gum like he's the best of the best I wouldn't sell him I would bench him and see how he reacts as for Gomes I'm not willing to give up on him yet I want to see him after a full pre season as since his injury he hasn't had a chance last night he was good in possession or terrible there was no in-between.

Very good read but I feel your being very over critical of Pickford he was outstanding and has been for the last 8 games, I do agree with you over tactics I texted around just after the goal watch what we do passed to Godfrey then Holgate back to Pickford who hits it long and we lose the ball that comes from the manager as that's what they have been told to do. I was sitting there last night waiting for villa to grab a second you could see it coming all match all they had to do was hit it in the channels and they were free it happened all game and we didn't change anything up to counter act it for me it's another game that shows a lot of our players are bottle jobs and will not take us into Europe and for the 456th time on the run this is our biggest summer otherwise another season like this and Carlo will probably of had enough and then what do we do.

Well that's a daft idea Lewin is better the TA IMO and say we sell Lewin tell me who will replace the goals he's scored this season as Tammy won't can't believe how quickly some of fans would happily sell our striker.
