If Ndiaye wants Champions League football, I suggest he pulls his finger out and scores a few more goals and doesn't drop performances after the AFCON.

Three years left on his deal. It's in our control. If he pushes for a transfer this summer, then price him at £100m. Then he'll find out if the CL clubs want him as much as he wants them.
Dear me. Middlesbrough want £25m for an untested in the PL youngster in his final year. Don't blame them either. But that kind of puts IN in the high nineties to hundred mill transfer bracket.

Keep Beto, sell Barry for dog meat, only way to get rid.
{Ed025's Note - i get that Barry is not a Chum of yours AB, hes not the sort of Chappie we need at this club if we want to Winalot mate.. :)

I’m not a massive fan of the possibility of signing Stones but:
1. He’s miles better than anyone we have but Branthwaite.
2. If he takes a big wage cut, it’s a no brainier.
3. He’d be a perfect person to help Branthwaite.
If we ignore Branthwaite’s injuries for a second, he’s faster, stronger, bigger and more 2 footed than Stones ever was, whilst being naturally good on the ball (not as good as Stones in his prime) .
If someone said Branthwaite will be close to what Stones was, I’d be very happy, even though Branthwaite is more talented, his injuries and Moyes are an issue.
But we have to get rid of one of Keane or Tarkowski.

No, we have to replace both. Branthwaite, O'Brien and one other. No more centre backs playing as full backs please.
15 Jun 2026 21:05:15
What is the obsession from Moyes with Stones? We have a better centre back in Branthwaite. Why would you pay in excess of £250 thousand a week for an injury prone player when that money could be spent on a hungry young player like Bowen? Its hyperthetical but why waste money on a centre back when its a striker and 2 fullbacks we need.
He has these things with City. Nathan Ake is another. Last year it was Grealish and Macatee. Tell him to look further than 30 miles Down the East Lancs Road. Another one to get a mention Shea Charles, another from there academy who was not good enough for them.

Yeah, like Cole Palmer and Rogers. They are both sh***e.
16 Jun 2026 03:42:19
If you believe a striker is more important than a centre back, then I assume you check our results via the club's Twitter account, and don't actually watch us.
16 Jun 2026 04:14:09
Plus if injury free, he makes an excellent DM. Where did the £250 grand a week come from?
16 Jun 2026 08:56:12
Let's not forget if we can hopefully get some players who can retain possession, it will suit his play perfectly. When they won the treble and City had him playing in front of the back four, he was fantastic....we just need to find some more of them players.
16 Jun 2026 09:17:05
Hopefully, ones who are not about to get their pension.
16 Jun 2026 12:01:01
It's not a one or the other scenario. We don't sign players in order of importance. All these figures people keep chucking about are make believe. Stone is not in his prime. If he was, he wouldn't be available to us.

When's the new kit coming out? Usually seen some concepts or leaked images by now.

Could be being held up until we've confirmed new shirt sponsor?
15 Jun 2026 15:54:10
Should have been sorted months ago, and started selling kits by now, all adds to the player kitty.
15 Jun 2026 20:11:17
Shirt sponsor is already agreed. CMC Markets.
16 Jun 2026 10:08:29
I've found a concept kit image with the new alleged sponsor and attached to sightings so it should be on later when Ed does his magic. There's lots on the interweb if you search. Of all the ones I've seen I think it will be a round neck with a white collar very old school look, think 1970-71 type.
15 Jun 2026 13:52:13
We have two world class players, one with 3 years on his contract, one with 4 years on his contract.
Why in the name of hell, have we apparently put up a 70million price tag on either. The contract situation means the is no urgentsy for this, and we are assured their is no financial pressure to sell.
You build a side by retaining your best players, not trying to cash in with absolutely no reasons. Simple answer no offer for either player will be entertained, regardless of price.

We haven't. It's the media trying to drum up a story, mate.
15 Jun 2026 20:12:26
Until you hear a board member or the manager say it themselves, then don't stress about the rumours in the press or online.
As for those two players being world class? They are very good players, but they still have work to do to hit those heights.
16 Jun 2026 04:16:33
Plus one of those I suspect is taking a long time to get over 'growing pains'.
16 Jun 2026 08:39:12
What are people's views on selling Branthwaite?
A season ago, I'd have wanted to keep him, but I'm starting to really worry about his injuries. He's only 22 and has been crocked a good couple of times now. If I had to make a decision on him it would be to cash in while we can still get some good money for him.
16 Jun 2026 18:10:57
Who on earth do we have that is 'World class'?
15 Jun 2026 10:40:11
Have seen links to Lois Openda, with a fee of £34m being quoted.
He clearly has a decent pedigree having come second only to Harry Cane a couple of seasons ago with 24 goals in the Bundesliga.
Although he struggled to make an impact for Juventus on loan last season. They have an obligation to buy but are looking to move him on.
I feel that he may have struggled as Juventus are so slow and laboured in possession (a bit like us) and he relies on his blistering pace, which would be ideal for counter attacking in the Premier League.
Although he is good with his head he is only 5'9", so we would have to abandon the hoof upfield from Pickford which would certainly be a blessing.
He should be well suited to the Premier League and if he can return to his former levels he could well be a bargain for someone.
Would Moyes be prepared to a change our style of play, take a chance and mix it up a bit? Probably not, but we can live in hope.

I think we are flogging a dead horse while Motes is here, it won't matter who we get, and while he is still here, I've got no interest who we get.
15 Jun 2026 12:40:59
Be a shame not to read your posts mate.
15 Jun 2026 22:14:47
Meaning ?
16 Jun 2026 02:06:21
He won't be able to think of non sensible replies as his verbal reasoning is poor Skylark. How he takes your post to mean you are not posting again is beyond me.
16 Jun 2026 12:53:01
You're about as miserable as me, Nick. ?

3 decent footballing nations, Brazil, Portugal and the Netherlands all have ex Everton managers, what happened?

15 Jun 2026 15:10:49
Apart from Ancelotti, we wanted them all out, mate.
16 Jun 2026 03:44:22
Portuguese fans are 50/50 on Martinez (mainly because they love Ronaldo so much, if they didn’t, then they’d despise Martinez) and the Dutch are not big on Koeman at all.
Ancelotti is the odd one out, but he’s one of the greatest managers ever, so nothing happened, really.
He gave us James Rodriguez, so I’ll be eternally grateful. I don’t care that we had a terrible end to the season. I’ll love James Rodriguez forever.
14 Jun 2026 20:39:04
Be interesting to see how Sano does against that very good Dutch midfield. Hopefully Mr Moyes is watching, as I believe our Gana replacement is sorted with this lad.

Watched that match last night for Japan, played well. That Kudo is some player. Is he still at Sociedad? He'd be a great purchase if he would be interested in joining us.
15 Jun 2026 09:02:37
Think he was a player we tried to sign and couldn't get it done.
15 Jun 2026 14:12:09
He is still there, mate, yes. I think they were wanting something stupid like £60m, mate. He has got decent ability, though, for sure.
