Is it going to be end of this month, or into Feb or March.
If going to be Feb/March, even more vital to get a RB in the window as OBrien needed for centre back his natural role in any case, as we are going to be thin in this area, with Keane being out until probably beginning of Feb now.

Watched the Liverpool match last night hoping that Arsenal would beat them!
Cannot understand why Martinelli wasnt sent off for violent conduct.
Bradley looked like he had got a serious injury. He threw the ball at him and then tried to drag him off . Nowt mentioned about this.
Did antbody see this? My theory is the premiership is corrupt and they look after certain teams.

It was shocking deliberately threw ball onto him then tried to manhandle him of the pitch, lad could have a bad injury that martinelli trying to drag him about could have made worse.
How keanes was red and his wasn’t shows the blatant incompetent misuse of the var system.

Just seen a reel which states David Moyes is 3rd highest paid manager in PL and 5th in world on a staggering 12.5 million per season! WTF?

Just done a quick search and according to footballfancast ( whatever that is ) Moyes is ranked 7th in the Premier League on £5m a year, £12.5m over the duration of his contract. Couldn't have slept if I hadn't checked!

This is how insane football has become. What’s even crazier is if they do a bad job and get their contract terminated they get a huge payoff. Allegedly Amorim got 10m, how insane is that. In my business if you didn’t reach your targets you got binned with severance pay and a bit of holiday pay if you were lucky.

Keane pulled the lads hair. Whether he was white, black, yellow, brown, red, orange, it was a red card.

If someone pulled Grealish’s hair I’d expect them to get a red.

Keane shouldn’t have done what he did. It was childish and stupid.

1928 arrived and everything was fine then Mary Whitehouse arrived and messed our World up. 1970's I was called a white honkey, a quick kick in the nuts sorted that out while my future wife and best mate laughed in the blokes face.

All gone to pot now a days, but it has nothing to do with Keane pulling a blokes hair and a pro like Grealish being stupid, Refs second game and did okay.

Had to look up what a "white honkey" meant dms. It was bad enough being brought up in West Derby in the 1940's, then you were either a papist or a proddy. Stupid really, the Catholic kids walked on one side of Leyfield Road and the Protestants on the other throwing insults at each other and quite often stones.


However a mixed marriage meant one of the families followed Everton and the other Liverpool. My Dad's were Evertonians and my Mum's followed Liverpool. Had some interesting family parties.

I, personally, think a yellow card and an apology from Keane would have sufficed, but i think to suggest that the race of the players involved had Anything to do with it is mad.

As BR said, I would expect the exact same result if it had happened to Jack.

Can the club appeal against Keanes red card, even getting it reduced to one or two match suspension I’d something. There was no nasty intent.

As regards Grealish the ref got it all spot on. Players like him need to set the example on the pitch. Pity the ref hasn’t got the power to send him back to city. His better playing days are behind him and I don’t expect him to still be an Everton player next season. Sent off and a boozy night out around Christmas, that’s enough.

So assume McNeil will be left wing, Dibling right wing, Patterson right back with O’Brien and Tarks centre backs for next matches.
Keep Armstrong in the team he is needed.

Barnes from Newcastle would be good replacement got Grealish but assume not available and out of financial reach. Harry Wilson the same on the right.

Send Grealish back? We really have lost the ability to apply any logic or reason to the situation haven’t we? One of our players of the season, wearing his heart on his sleeve, went too far yesterday and let himself down. He’ll want to come back strong.

Mcneil can't control a football either can the 2 forwards grealish can he's a great outlet for when we're under the cosh pickford boots it long and only grealish can control and hold up the ball without him and mcneil on the left it's back to dyche tactics 10 men behind the ball with no outball terrible football.

In prem standards McNeil is slower than a dead slug. Problem is we have nobody to replace him. Would love replacements this Window but almost impossible to find quality.

I’m not convinced Keane pulled the Wolves players hair on purpose. He has a grip of the players shirt with his left hand and looks, to me that he thought he was grabbing the shirt with his right hand too. Only Keane knows the truth but I don’t believe it was violent conduct (if accidental) .

Grealishs 2nd yellow was out of petulance from being so frustrated with how poor the ref was. But fully deserved 2nd yellow.

The refereeing in the self proclaimed best league in the world is atrocious, the standard is the worst I have seen in all my years playing and watching football.
