From what I’ve read this morning, we are linked with wingers, midfielders, a couple of strikers, a bus hire company, sock sponsors, an assistant to Doris the tea lady and a pet Labrador called ‘Biscuit’…

File him under ‘tricky pacey winger’ Whitty. He pro dominantly plays on the right but he is left footed. He is Nigerian and plays for the international team with Iwobi. He is different to what we have as it feels for years all our managers have wanted a right sided winger who is left footed but we have never seem to get one. Who knows if he fits the bill or if we are even interested ??♂️.

Would be an amazing signing, but we never went in for him when Brentford did so not sure we’d now be interested.

Not sure why my reply never came through first time? Toney accused some of our supporters of racist behaviour towards his family at Goodison last season. So I doubt he would want to come and play for us after that.

Any of the Ed's know whether there is genuine interest in Moussa Diaby of Leverkusen? he's one heck of a player and only 21. I would be over the moon if we landed him! (Suspect its paper talk and bigger clubs will be in for him? )

Do any of the Ed's if there is any serious interest in Moises caicedo l? And is he any good?
I m probably wrong but I have a bad feeling about Eriksson, seems he left spurs under a cloud and hasn't worked out at inter. I doubt we would get him either on a loan or a perm anyway. Either way he is one I would swerve. I would be happy with just Aaron's and as few outs.
{Ed002's Note - He cannot be compared to Eriksen at all, Khedira perhaps. My understanding is that Moises Caicedo impressed when Manchester United were following up on looking at another player who they had first seen in the Real Sociedad reserves. There has been interest in Caicedo from other sides including Ajax, Atlanta, Inter Miami, PSV and Chelsea. Someone senior at Chelsea is very keen. I am not aware of any approach by Everton but an independent scout who has worked for Everton in South America attended games to watch him in September and October.}

To add to that. anyone wanting lampard out wants there head testing. I thought in general we played very well. Look a lot more solid and back to back away draws is a massive improvement on last season!

Watched that on bt and got to say I thought we played well and managed the game well. Very unlucky not to take all 3 points. Going to give mcneil some slack. He worked hard and defended well, the offensive side of his game is non existent and he endlessly gives the ball away. Iwobi looks good in the middle with onana. iwobi is an enigma though. I think he has improved but again he's another one who gives the ball away in terrible positions. Going back to onana what a player, my motm he was outstanding and if played like that he will keep idrissa out of the starting line up should we re sign him. Tarkowski coady steady. Patterson looks like a great signing as I always suspected. It's so obvious where our issue is (no striker! ) And no creativity through the middle / top of the pitch. Crying out for another striker and a creative number 10 but highly doubt that's going to happen this window.

Yep absolutely. Think he's cut a frustrated figure at the moment but he's been utter gash this season. I didn't think much of him last season other than 'aww he works hard' he's had half an OK season. The fee they have paid is very very reminiscent of a certain merseyside clubs past and present dealings! Just hope that merseyside club can start to get it right (doubtful the lunatics in charge )

Also some downright snobbery on here (not from your good self ) but comments like what has x manager won etc. Win something.? We can't win a game of football, need to try walking before we can run. Like it or not for a fair majority on here moyes is the best a lot probably would have seen, ok we never won any silverware but at least we had a squad of players I could be proud of supporting.
If i was going to pinpoint this mess on one manager then it would be keoman but I'm with the majority here that it starts and stops with the board.

(Frank I think was the last roll of the dice and its failed. You could have pep and klopp in charge and we will still get relegated) I like Frank, just like I liked most of the prev managers. I think we are doomed due to moshiri as well as Koeman/ Walsh reign when they signed 20 of the crapest number10s and no striker. Its been an avalanche of garbage since and further mistakes that have tipped the iceberg.
Think West hams downfall this season is playing a different way less direct tried to incorporate a better quality type of player but hasn't clicked. To be honest I think they will turn it around anyway. With our mob I cannot see another win to be honest.

With these stats he's a must isn't he? I mean he ticks all the boxes. Bit like our star turn out from Burnley, what was his stats now? Zero goals or assists in a Premier league season so efc splash 20 odd million on him, by the way he's doing a grand job of replicating last seasons stats and justifying the price tag?! If everton football club played in an igloo they would buy over priced ice. Just pure annoyed and resentment from me now. I've never seriously thought we would get relegated even last season but unfortunately my faith has run out completely now and I firmly believe that this is the season we will finally go down.

Don't get me wrong. I think dyche is a decent appointment and a good long term one. Absolutely fully behind him but I think too much damage has been done for us to have any chance of staying up largely due to the lack of quality on the pitch. If we go down I hope we stick with dyche and keep faith in him that he will get us back up!

From what I've read he doesn't want it as the pace of the players is comparible as an 80s lada stuck in limp mode.
He seems to have nothing decent to say about us and wants a lot of money we don't have the players to play his way and we are bad enough at the back as it is. I would move on and quickly. Possibly was the right man but totally the wrong time.
