Everton 1 offence, + cooperation, = 6 points.
So, city 114 offences, no cooperation, should = 114 X 6, in an organisation that was not corrupt, this should surely be the minimum outcome, but I'm not holding my breath.

That's too easy mate, news coming out even if they drop down a league they would still be able to play In the Champions league.

07 Oct 2026 18:10:14
It's all speculation. UEFA may open its own investigation. Lot of twists and turns to come yet.

07 Oct 2026 19:22:55
Remember Chelsea, I know City are fighting it unlike Chelsea but it set a precedent.

07 Oct 2026 19:23:50
City haven't done anything wrong though. HAVE THEY ??????.???????.

08 Oct 2026 07:12:41
Good luck fitting champions league into the manic fixture pile up you get in the championship.

08 Oct 2026 09:35:50
In the championship there is no var so no protection for all the primadonas that manc have tackles are also allowed that team of manc couldn't handle the physical side of the championship doko n semenyo would be able to dive about like they do in the prem most of them players would want to leave after half a dozen games.

08 Oct 2026 21:26:08
This is going to be a managed penalty. Cities budget and UAE's UK investment is beyond many Countries GDP. No doubt the award will not fit.

07 Oct 2026 11:39:38
High praise for Dibling after his under 21 game, hope he caries on good player in there.

07 Oct 2026 19:25:08
He should be getting more games for us, once he gets confidence in his own ability watch out.

08 Oct 2026 14:29:00
Hopefully he can show the quality player the club invested in.

08 Oct 2026 21:35:10
Who does he replace.

07 Oct 2026 00:10:12
A decision goes against Everton, and the club is ordered to hand over £35m to Burnley, immediately, not pending an appeal, but straight away, and now comes word that should we win the appeal, Burnley might not have the funds to repay the money.

How odd this is, given that city have been found guilty, but there is no such instant penalty. It is truly clear, the premier League is what we have always said, they are corrupt.

Agree6 Disagree0

07 Oct 2026 06:10:14
I read that Everton did inform the League that Burnley might have problems returning the 35M pounds if the appeal was successful and they were told to pay it anyway rather than have it in Escrow. Chelsea and City treatment, compared with ourselves, have shown what a corrupt organization we have in the Premier League.

07 Oct 2026 08:11:57
Get the PM to look into it.

07 Oct 2026 08:45:25
Or just use this as the yardstick of expectation when we sue City for our loss of revenue. Pay up now then hide it with the Arteta money. No one will find it, not even City's lawyers.

Branthwaite & Garner coming on for the last half hour for England.

Please Lord do not let either get injured! ??.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Oct 2026 22:24:08
They are fine. A lot of players going through the motions, trying not to get injured, like a practice game. A waste of everyones time.

{Ed025's Note - i agree Mike..

07 Oct 2026 07:44:10
Roll on the weekend.

{Ed025's Note - amen to that GB..

06 Oct 2026 07:53:03
After lots of contemplation I have decided what punishment I would like to see. I don't want them relegated. Instead, I would like them docked 40-50 points for each season they cheated, applied for the same number of seasons going forward.

That way, they have a fighting chance of staying in the league if they can keep a strong squad, but no chance of Europe for 9-10 years.

Doesn't work like that Prem and League have different rules. The ideal for me is a ban and reapply, but the football authorities don't have the guts. An amount of points deduction to ensure relegation just means straight back up, no punishment at all. A fine for nearly a billion quid cheat doesn't bother City.

06 Oct 2026 09:46:02
Would like to see them get the same treatment as their near neighbours bury got why should it be different for manc than bury. Bury afc did well last year and won promotion from the north West counties Premier League maybe one day manc can emulate them took bury 6 seasons.

06 Oct 2026 11:22:21
I agree but it won't happen.

06 Oct 2026 21:07:04
To borrow an old movie line from the 1970s, "Send them to Detroit "

Seriously, a fine equal to the fraud and four years of 50 point deductions, applicable to all 4 leagues.

And a transfer ban.

06 Oct 2026 22:00:13
It's history, let them off with a slap on wrist and warning but dock Everton another 10 points!

05 Oct 2026 13:01:23
Does anyone know if there is a plan for a Seamus Coleman testimonial?

Not looking to write him off, but watched Wales earlier and Brennan Johnson was utterly crap again. Very worrying.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Oct 2026 22:11:33
Not worrying unless Moyes has the repirts and still picks him.

04 Oct 2026 22:28:58
Not overly bothered by what he does for Wales, it's how he does for us that is the only concern. There is a player there somewhere, let's hope DM can get something out of him.

It's far too early to be slating him or worrying about him, it can take time for a player to settle. The lad has been here five minutes so I'd say let's give him a chance.

05 Oct 2026 07:44:05
Many in the media said he played well.

05 Oct 2026 10:50:22
They did GB but compared to who? He should be given time on the bench until he has gotten up to speed. Dibling and George are much better bets.

05 Oct 2026 11:19:59
I also think we need George on instead. l of him at the minute.

The fact of the matter is, we got him for nothing and most people wanted to see the back of McNeill, so he either comes good (which I genuinely hope he does) or we ship him on. At least we've not forked out loads of dough on a person we're taking a chance on.

05 Oct 2026 11:36:11
I would leave that to DM mate.

05 Oct 2026 15:50:44
Give him time. I wrote off Dibbling last season and now have egg on my face. Not everyone rips up trees as soon as they move to a new club.

05 Oct 2026 19:45:07
I watched the Wales game i didn't think he was crap he was one of there better performers, and it was against Denmark who aren't a bad team, i'm not saying he was brilliant he just wasn't crap.

05 Oct 2026 20:15:25
Was his best game for Wales apparently.
