Barry is absolutely sh**e.

Hope this post stabs me in the back and he scores . but he would still be sh**e.

10 Feb 2026 20:35:42
Can't disagree.

{Ed025's Note - hes worse than that Ron..

10 Feb 2026 21:04:44
Yes he should be nowhere near the team. Also O'Brein is not a right-back and Patterson should be playing. 2-1 down and playing with ten men. Hopefully we can get one back but blown opportunity at home again.

10 Feb 2026 21:37:44
Not our best performance…

Need to sort out our home form. It’s getting a bit embarrassing.

{Ed025's Note - i thought we played quite well BR, except for that hopeless piece of dog crap up front and the useless Ukranian..

10 Feb 2026 21:42:23
Hes beyond useless he's definitely stealing a living.

{Ed025's Note - who the hell buys these players BB...i would love t know..

10 Feb 2026 22:04:01
Bournemouth got the 19 year old from Brazil that's 2 in 2 he's got please tell me how we can't buy quality players my God ray Charles could see Beto and Barry mixed together couldn't make a player fs get the Irish kid from the 21s he couldn't do any worse in fact get a coat stand it would hold the ball up better.

10 Feb 2026 22:04:59
Does Moyes not have a sat in it ed?

{Ed025's Note - apparently he does Nick..

10 Feb 2026 22:06:13
Went to pot and missed a handful of chances. Don’t think we played that well Ed - failed to put the game to bed then threw it away second half in 10 mins of madness.

{Ed025's Note - them two Barry sitters go in and its a walk in the park BR, i was actually enjoying it at one point mate..

10 Feb 2026 18:31:07
Well apart from O’Brien still playing R/B that’s not a bad line up. Need to be on it straight from the off though, and not allow the opposition to dictate.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Feb 2026 19:21:14
I hope so to, but we always seem to fund a way of getting in a god position then blow and we've not been to great against these, but hopefully its our turn to get the 3 point and get in to one of those European spots.

10 Feb 2026 19:23:05
Strong team strong bench chance to go 6th against a team below us. why do I have a bad feeling. Need to find some GB positivity COYBs.

10 Feb 2026 18:31:06
For all you moaners out there, JB, OB and George start tonight, stay positive.

Agree3 Disagree0

10 Feb 2026 18:48:24
GB it’s not moaning. It’s having a different opinion on what we see.

10 Feb 2026 18:59:31
Not moaning GB, just giving our opinion. Personally I would drop Tarks and Gueye who have been great servants but we have players on the bench who would be playing in there natural positions and strengthen the team. Luckily I do not pick the team. I believe that we will still win, hopefully playing well from the first minute.

10 Feb 2026 19:18:15
I’m all for opinions lads but some posts are blaming everthing on the manager and I say look at the table and look again last Jan before he joined us.

10 Feb 2026 20:13:54
GB, I've always enjoyed your posts and share your enthusiasm and admire your optimism but supporters are entitled to their opinions. I wanted Moyes back and admire him, but he is not without faults and some criticism is warranted. He has done very well, hopefully he will do even better in the future. We just need to respect each other's opinions.

10 Feb 2026 21:31:57
Are we still allowed to moan about Barry?

{Ed025's Note - absolutely JB, the more the better mate..

10 Feb 2026 18:26:01
With those lineups (theirs too) we won't have many better opportunities to get 3 points. Come on you Blues!

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Feb 2026 18:49:32
Good Team tonight as good as it gets.

10 Feb 2026 16:47:11
Alright lads, well I guess we will see tonight if Mr Moyes goes for it and plays both Branthwaite and O’Brien in the centre and Patterson at right back. A far better balance to the side, and with Garner and Gueye in the holding midfield roll that would allow KDH, Ndiaye and George to run at defence.

Personally I would rather see Keane playing as the centre forward than BorB, but that’s asking a bit much I guess.

{Ed025's Note - i would love that team AD, i cant see it myself mate but i suppose we can all dream..

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2026 17:35:52
My money is on four CBs, Armstrong on the left, Ndiaye on the left, KDH behind them (probably in the left, biscuit the Labrador on the right and Doris the Tea Lady up front.

Don’t worry, he’ll bring on Beto in the 85th minute when we are 0-3 down as a like for like swap with Doris and we’ll lose 0-4.

{Ed025's Note - to be honest BR...i would be happy with Doris rather than the gruesome twosome mate.. :)

10 Feb 2026 18:26:53
Branthwaite and George starting. That’s what I was hoping for so let’s see if this works tonight.

10 Feb 2026 18:28:19
Wrong, wrong wrong, look at the Team for tonight,

10 Feb 2026 18:49:56
I would say AW got that pretty close, and personally I would prefer his team.

10 Feb 2026 14:04:44
Massive game tonight given the fixtures elsewhere. Have a real opportunity to create a buffer to teams below and also leapfrog the teams ahead of us.

{Ed025's Note - it wont be easy though BN, they are good side and even though they have lost a lot of good players they seem to get players in that are just as good..unlike our scouting team, im a big fan of Iraola and think he will get a move to a much bigger team even though thats a bit harsh on Bournemouth, im going for a 1-1 draw tonight mate with us starting slowly and conceding a sloppy goal, then second half coming out with more gusto and battering them but only scoring once unfortunately..

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2026 14:44:42
I agree ed 025 think iraola has done a brilliant job at Bournemouth if am honest think there recruitment over last few years been pretty impressive with likes of krupi Kluivert evanilson and also the departures of semenya kerkez and huijsen so everton as a scouting recruitment need to look at that and take note but on tonight's match I think we need to get at them from the off if am honest cause think Bournemouth are going to cause us few problems if we sit off an let them have the ball that being said am going to stick me neck out and say everton to win 2.1 KDH f.

g UTFT.

{Ed025's Note - i hope you are right Andy..

10 Feb 2026 15:58:44
It is BN mate and to get to the magic 40 points, hope Tyrique starts 2-0 for us KDH and Jimmy to get the goals.

10 Feb 2026 16:05:42
There new £30 million 19 year old winger looked quality at weekend Mykolenko is going to be up against it.

10 Feb 2026 16:18:50
We got £30 million strikers Ron mate.

10 Feb 2026 16:22:20
It's going to be interesting to see what first eleven Moyes picks. Are we going to look forward with Branthwaite and O'Brien as center-backs and some of the youngsters playing or is he going to rely on the older favorites? I think that he will keep the older guys in defense and use George from the start.

{Ed025's Note - i think you maybe right Mike..

10 Feb 2026 17:38:35
I think you will see JB andOB Mike.

{Ed025's Note - hmmmmm..

10 Feb 2026 17:41:12
Can we scout Bournemouth’s scouts so we n ow what a scout does? Maybe request some work experience for our scouts?

Maybe we don’t actually have any scouts… it could all be a elaborate ruse and it’s just been Moshiri or TFG playing football manager all this time - it would certainly explain our approach somewhat.

10 Feb 2026 18:51:55
Our scouts have a camp outside Chelsea’s training ground apparently.

10 Feb 2026 15:13:22
Will never happen I know, but would love to see some youngsters tonight. Bournemouth players all have good engines and really put in a shift.
Pickford, Patterson, O, Brian, Branthwaite, Aznou
Garner, Rohl, Kdh, Armstrong, Alcarez, George
Feel that Ndyiee and Gueye need a rest after Afcon to recharge.

Play George as Striker, can’t do any worse than Beavis and Butthead.
Subs can always be used second half. As I said will never happen, but would, nt it be nice to be more adventurous.

10 Feb 2026 14:57:30
Far from it Ed. I am never confident watching us because we are so Jekyll and Hyde in what team shows up. I also don't ever feel confident that our striker will score us a goal. I am less confident when we are at home because it does not suit how Moyes sets us up. To add, Bournemouth have really picked up after their poor run.

Agree mate, they have plenty of dangerous players. I am a massive fan of Tavernier myself and think he would be a proper Everton player.

I am not going to pick a score Ed. I just hope that we drop Keane and bring Branthwaite in. Whether that is Jake at RB or Jake at CB with JB at LB. Has Keane had his best season for us this season, absolutely. Does that mean he should be starting ahead of JB, absolutely not. He cost us again at the weekend. Personally, I would love us to go with Jake and JB but I know Moyes won't drop Tarkowski.

Hopefully he also gives us some balance and plays young George on the wing after his decent cameo. If Armstrong is to play, have some bollocks, play him central and drop Gana.

10 Feb 2026 15:06:44
Us starting slowly? Why would you say that, Ed?

{Ed025's Note - i was wrong JB.. :)

10 Feb 2026 10:50:55
Got to start on the front foot tonight - not starting at half time!
Big 3-4 weeks with games we can win - hopefully Branthwaite in for the run in
I would probably go with Beto - just feel he gives more energy and links up a little better - but can see arguments he had his chance and Barry has scored a few!
Either way a lot better than last season - just a 2-3 decent signings in summer and think we have a good team.

Agree1 Disagree0

10 Feb 2026 17:42:07
We had a run like this back in November and botched that!

I do hope you are right Sobs and we hammer them tonight. It’s a big ask mind.

Liverpool v Manchester City - A Quick Liverpool Perspective

10 Feb 2026 10:02:39
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Liverpool v Manchester City - A Quick Liverpool Perspective

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Feb 2026 10:19:07
Great read that ed 001 as always as a neutral you mention fitness as a problem for some liverpool players what's that down to do you reckon mate I heard from few friends of mine who are reds saying since heitinga has left his role as assistant manager apperantly the training at melwood is something that some of the players don't like with whoever has took over from heitingas role in that department and also just another question if I may ask what was you're foughts on cherkis 3rd goal for city on Sunday do you think the referee and var should have let the goal stood or do you think was right decision to see szoboszlai get a red card.

{Ed001's Note - the fitness is down to the fitness and conditioning coaches. There was always ongoing fights with Klopp about him wanting the players pushed too hard (which is why he brought in his mini me to run the dept). The coaches felt that he was burning out the players by making them work too hard and causing injuries. Slot has listened to them and now we have more injuries and the players can barely run for 30 minutes a half now. Heitinga is a big loss because he was the sounding board for the players and acted like the go between for them with Slot, who is not as approachable.

I think that, by the letter of the law, what they did was correct. But by the spirit of the law it was a nonsense and everyone would be better off with a bit of commonsense applied and the goal just standing. After all, a similar pull on a Liverpool player earlier in the game was ruled as not being enough to give a penalty for, so a bit of consistency would be good!}

10 Feb 2026 15:52:32
Hi Ed 01 - sometimes have to look at the bigger picture.
It is an advantage to the teams below liverpool that he is suspended - it was a red card offence.
Its made Sunderland’s job easier and potentially able to take some points from Liverpool.
There would be just as much controversy if he wasn’t given a red card that other clubs would be shouting.

Where is the consistency?
Rules are rules and it was a red card whether we like it or not
In terms of the yellow card shown to the Man City defender that was a yellow, not a red as cover was coming round.
If Liverpool managed to sneak a very late equaliser to make 2~2 I don’t think we would’ve heard any Liverpool fans going on like this.

{Ed001's Note - sorry I disagree. No one would have complained if they let the goal stand. No idea what you are on about the yellow card for, that is not related. There was another pull, which never even received a booking or even given as a foul, which was a carbon copy of what Szobo and Haaland both did. Rules are rules? They are laws not rules because they can be interpreted and intended for referees to use their common sense, so you are wrong. The game was never meant to be this way.}

Not wishing to get ahead of things here but just in case does anyone know which European competitions Roma are likely to qualify for and should things go well for us, how that affects us?

Chang
Hafina

{Ed025's Note - i still wear my Chang one BB..

09 Feb 2026 20:37:48
It sat well on any shirt we did with it for sure Ed.

09 Feb 2026 20:40:05
I have fond memories of Danka and one2one but it’s NEC for me as we the cup in that kit.

09 Feb 2026 21:06:18
Yeah Danka was decent. NEC reminds me of Big Dunc.

09 Feb 2026 22:16:44
Danka was on my first Everton kit, the yellow and blue striped one.

10 Feb 2026 00:38:35
Chang nudged out Cazoo.

10 Feb 2026 11:00:34
Anything that isn’t bloody gambling gets my shout!

I so hope we jog Stake on soon.

10 Feb 2026 13:42:51
The one I have now, no large sponsor name on it, just the Everton shield and a small Gastore wings logo.

10 Feb 2026 17:45:52
They don’t stick a sponsor on the kids tops at the moment as it’s gambling and I much prefer them. Just a shame I’m never going to fit into a junior top at my age!

10 Feb 2026 15:03:06
The Hafnia 84 shirt. My favourite ever, so definitely Hafnia for me.
