We signed anyone else yet?

1

04 Aug 2026 09:10:40
Apparently Norgaard is having a medical today, so should be signed by the first game of the season.

2

04 Aug 2026 09:48:41
Thought the medical was planned for yesterday. Hopefully, him and a RB in the next few days.

If we sign Johnston from Celtic, it will probably be after their Champions League qualifying game in two weeks unless they can get a replacement in before then.

1

04 Aug 2026 11:31:55
We've been waiting 4 years what's another 2 weeks. Just watch him get injured and then back to square one. This should have been sorted ages ago.

1

04 Aug 2026 12:20:03
If the current rumours are true and it's a choice between Johnston and Molina. Would much prefer Molina. It's easy to look good in Scotland. The Scottish Premiership is such a poor league.

03 Aug 2026 23:08:29
Pochettino agrees USA extension with some bloke called Trump as head coach.

2

04 Aug 2026 08:33:40
In that case, the best players in the world will shortly be American citizens.

Grealish 200k a week and still recovering. Someone at this Club needs a severe talking to; thinking this is a bargain. Two brilliant coaches didn't/don't want him. Pro's: he really is a good lad, on his day could be a game changer.

Cons: not quite Gazza in the barber's chair but close; have to play at his speed - slow; can't shoot. Drop wages to £120-50k maybe if tfg agree.

1

04 Aug 2026 06:59:15
I'd rather we kept Ndiaye.

1

04 Aug 2026 14:40:46
Bit of a difference, Man City managers not wanting him, with the quality of players in his position, compared to us, mate.

He improves our squad without a shadow of a doubt. He won't be asking for 200k a week with us, especially if he really wants to join us again as is rumoured.

2

03 Aug 2026 21:20:20
Ok, Spurs want Ndiaye. It’s £80 million plus Richy comes home.

03 Aug 2026 21:47:19
If it's true it will be a backwards step yet again.

03 Aug 2026 22:08:08
For who, Skylark? Ndiaye or the club? If you're using this situation to bash the club, then that's a bit stupid. If the player wants out, then would you keep him? If he goes, then the club just needs to get a fair valuation for him, whether he moves to another prem team or abroad.

If they sell him for 30m, then you would be right, but that isn't going to happen.

2

03 Aug 2026 22:10:12
Reading without me glasses so apologies, Skylark, if you meant bringing Rucharlison back home. Although, even you have to admit, he's better than the two we have up top just now. Getting someone in that can actually score a decent amount of goals is what we all want isn't it? Any player that improves the team would be a positive move.

2

04 Aug 2026 06:55:51
Richarlison, bluepotato and Grealish while we are on the subject.

1

04 Aug 2026 08:54:56
B and B do not hold the ball up well or at all, so we struggle to build up by bringing midfielders into the game. Richie has Brazilian ball control in him and the ability to make a goal himself.
Aznou showed that extra bit of skill v Hamburg when he sent 2 burgers to the shops.

We seriously lack this type of flair, so for me, if Richie is available, then I'd prefer to pay his wage than 200k a week to JG.

1

04 Aug 2026 14:42:53
Grealish would be a good addition to our squad. It's a bit mad how some of you are against the idea. Any player that makes us better should be welcomed with open arms, especially one that got the club and the fans, and has made no secret of his desire to come back. No brainer.

1

04 Aug 2026 19:46:45
I would take Richy back over the likes of Delap or the two we currently have.
He has had his injuries but it's amazing how quickly they disappear when you're happy again.

Surely Ndiaye wouldn’t move to Spurs.

1

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - that would depend on the fee and the financial package i expect GB..

1

03 Aug 2026 20:42:29
Yeah Ed I know mate but Spurs, if he moves he can do far better than that lot

0

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - he who pays the piper calls the tune GB, its all down to money in the end mate..

3

03 Aug 2026 21:00:54
Wouldn't be a bad move imo, GB.

He is almost guaranteed to play, whereas moving to the likes of Arsenal, City or United would take a lot of minutes off of him.

Spurs have a clear plan in place and have recruited very smartly, mate.

They only need a striker and winger to have a very good first 11, with no European fixtures to contend with.

Kinsky/Dubravka

Porro/Spence
Senesi/VDV
Van Hecke/Danso
Robertson/Udogie

Fernandes/Bentancur/Gray
Tonali/Gallagher/Sarr

Kudus/Ndiaye
Kulisevski/Maddison
Tel/Simons

Richarlison/Solanke

They will offer him stupid money, and they have a much better side and manager than us. That is just the unfortunate reality, mate.

1

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - it could also be a carrot for Richie coming to us plus cash BN..

0

03 Aug 2026 21:15:10
That is more than a fair shout Ed and I would take full advantage of getting that money back that they shafted us for on the Richy deal because we were desperate.

I would be asking for £65m plus Richy Ed. See how much they really want him ey!

0

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - i suspect it will not be that much BN..

0

03 Aug 2026 21:41:19
40 tops and Richie. Spuds will get the better deal unless we get Yilmaz, that would do for me.

0

03 Aug 2026 22:49:24
He's contracted until 2029. We have to squeeze out as much as we can from the deal. Richy is in his last year. He's 29 and injury prone. Ndiaye is 26 and was missing for AFCON (though his form dipped afterwards) .

Didn't Arsenal want £20-25m for Jesus? That puts Richy in a similar boat in my eyes.

We should be eying £55m at least if they throw in Richy. Otherwise, hold out for £75-80m.

1

03 Aug 2026 23:38:30
Why does Jesus need a boat?

0

04 Aug 2026 00:10:09
Because he's getting on a bit and can't walk on water..

1

03 Aug 2026 18:47:55
Mad to think as Prem is about to start that Moyes is 4th longest in position of all the Prem bosses just behind Hertzeler Emery and Arteta.

3

03 Aug 2026 18:28:59
Maybe it's just me but I remember watching Anzou as our RB last pre season and he looked a real attacking threat. Similar, imo this season.
After, a full year at our club, if he doesn't defend or track back as DM wants, surely that's down to our coaching team or DM himself.

I like the look of the lad from little I've seen, fellow blue boys' opinions?

0

03 Aug 2026 20:14:17
Sadly I think our back four will be JoB, Tarks, JB and Myko for the start of the season.

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - I suspect you are right Bobby..

1

03 Aug 2026 20:25:41
Don't remember him as RB.

0

03 Aug 2026 21:43:34
Think a fit JB would allow our L/B to get forward a lot more.

1

03 Aug 2026 16:18:33
Contrary to popular belief, we get a couple of strikers in and we will then have a half decent team to get behind.

3

03 Aug 2026 20:03:16
Don't forget the elusive RB.

1

03 Aug 2026 21:45:43
Well, we still have to do that first GB, otherwise the belief that we will be a mid table team may come true.

0

03 Aug 2026 13:47:51
I am glad John Stones got some other offers and is off to Italy. Means our lazy scouts have to earn their money and find decent young talent instead of older ex players or Rx utd city players looking for one last pay day.

1

03 Aug 2026 15:55:17
Where do you get they are lazy mate

1

03 Aug 2026 16:14:39
I'm not sure they are lazy; just crap.

If he wasn't on stupid wages, I'd have thought he was a decent squad player, as he can cover several positions. Could also have retired at us and possibly take up a coaching role after.

The lad has worked with some top managers and has decent experience. Could have been useful.

However, if he was on extortionate wages, it would be a waste as we could utilise the money on several players. Especially if we get Grealish back.

2

03 Aug 2026 16:46:21
Well there's a thing Dino agrees.

3

03 Aug 2026 16:57:28
Please tell me who actually came out and said we were after him in the first place

1

03 Aug 2026 18:19:46
I'll agree with this, mate. Moyes is the manager for 1 more season, and as a supporter you have to back him and hope we do well. Any new players that come in, regardless of where they came from, again, come the 22nd August, I will be there cheering them on, but after a few games, if it's the same crap as always, then I won't be happy, and I think I am entitled not to be.

I just think we could do much better in the transfer market.

0

03 Aug 2026 19:19:24
I agree, Dino, I want to see the Team we get this season, then decide; if we are rubbish, he goes. But hey, we have a good Team starting to be assembled, a mixture of experience and youth. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Hope so anyway, mate.

0

03 Aug 2026 20:15:58
Need a striker GB can't go through next season with them 2 cowboys up front it's a must that we find one and he needs to be good. Can have a decent team but if you don't score goals it's mid table again. You never know as ed said let's wait and see never know this time 2 weeks we might have signed one and we all be buzzing.

0

03 Aug 2026 21:48:27
Can we stop wanting past players to be coaches please.

0

03 Aug 2026 23:58:02
Think Peacock scored 25 last season, he's for sale, and I understand the ask is £25mill. What the hell are they waiting for?

1

04 Aug 2026 07:21:18
Have you got the wrong bird. Are you talking about parrot lol.
