Far too harsh. We could've been ahead, and it was one mistake from Pickford, who has been unbelievable all season, which cost us.

Here we go then, all the usual negativity coming out. I'm sorry, but you are getting carried away. We are a club/team in transition, nowhere near the finished article. We go to the best team in the league, without our first choice centre halves, and give them a good game. We could have been 2-0 at half-time and, in my view, we fully deserved a point.

All this criticism of Moyes is unreal - listen to what people in the game think of him, as well as current & former players. Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, both say they came to Everton because of Moyes. He's not perfect but you better get used to him because he'll be here for one more season at least.

Spot on, Pojo.

Not a rubbish display at all. Some need to lay off the sauce. Up against a side that will win the Prem, a squad whose not playing 11 would probably (exception Pickford) be our first select.

Our weakness is no striker, all our threat comes from midfield. Predictions are all well and good, but mean zilch without a reality check. And, no, that Chelsea pillock is not the answer. I'd rather play Keane.

We played very well today. Could have won, defo deserved a point. We have come a long way in 1 yr of Moyes. I am 100% happy we have him. We are not pulling up trees, I will agree, but av not felt we have a chance in every game since erm.

we'll Moyes.
Always said, be careful what you wish for. He left us, we went downhill, never recovered.
West Ham bordering relegation.

I thought we played really well. Moyes knows what he's got, and plays to the strengths. Tactically, for me, he was spot on. It could have easily turned into another Everton away win, plus we were pressing to the end for an equaliser.

All Evertonians should be proud of the team's performance and of the manager. A couple of little mistakes by Mycolenko and Pickford. Everyone played well.

Mistake by Pickford changes everything but he has kept us in the hunt so many times so just one of those things. Strong performance. We are a decent team. But boy do we need someone up top who can hold on to the ball.

Oh Pickford what were you thinking? ☹️.

I thought we played well today. It goes to show we are miles off the capability of Arsenal. I hope they win the league.

16 year old scores for Arsenal but our 18 year old doesn’t even get a look in on the bench. Instead we plod on with two bloody awful “strikers”?

Really good first half, we have been the better team and unlucky we aren’t 2 up.

But we weren't Gb. We played well, but lost 2-0. Sloppy defending for their first, and we gave them the second. Interesting that the damage was done by a 16 year old, good job that he doesn't play for us, he would never get a chance. Once again, Beto won nothing, and Barry looks completely uninterested, just ambles along.

The players who played well are let down by these clowns, and I blame Moyes for playing them. The fact that we kept the potential champions to a draw until the final minutes bodes well for our future, but it is very disappointing that we missed out on another point that we should have got.

Give him a job for 20 years, sure... and I fancied a wee 2 1 to us... fecking onion.

Really impressed with McNeil, his attitude and his play, can't have been easy. I know lots of people aren't fans of him but I like him.

He's doing ok and worth his place in the team.

Always gives 100%, but I'd like to see a quicker player on the wing. George should be getting game time.

Beto should play later imo.

Their back pair are top quality defenders and big lads, so we will need Beto to give them as good as they get. Not sure Barry is built for that. Although he wins more duels, they rarely go to our men, a bit like DCL tbf.

Beto running in behind them and being able to jostle with them will offer more to us, I think.

Barry or Beto. Or neither, folks?

Beto for me to start out of the 2. Barry wouldn't have a kick early on, I don't think. Gonna be a tough 1. Hopefully get an early goal, however it comes, and they will get gitery, but if we concede 1st, it could be a hammering for us. I would take a draw, but I'm going for 1.2 Ndiaye pen and a Keane thunderbolt. Coyb's.

I think this game depends quite substantially on what Tim decides to turn up, Ron.

Not sure which way this will go. Especially with no JB or Tarks.

A week of warm weather training and we come back weaker than when we went lol. No Tarks or Branthwaite.

This will be tougher now as if it wasn't tough already. 😅

14 Mar 2026 17:47:57
Very concerning that Branthwaite plays three or four matches, has a ten day break, then unfit again.

I don't know why, maybe it's because the sun is out, maybe I have drunk too much this week, but I just have a feeling we are going to sneak a 1-0 win today.

Am I expecting anything out of today's game? Probably not. Our away record is good, but they are a class team with strength everywhere and as a squad doesn't have many weaknesses. I think a point would be a great result. Can I see us scoring? No, that's our weakness. I'm going for a hopeful 0-0.
