According to numerous different news outlets Everton are getting close to agreeing a deal for this player Kojo Peprah Oppong a young Ghanian defender who plays for nice apparently personal terms being agreed and he stays with them for the rest of the season and joins in the summer make of that what you will fellow evertonians.

I have apparently seen him against Östers IF 4-3 early this season (regulation battle teams in Swedish ) .

We need a left back with some natural ability, decent height, Grealish must hate playing with Mykolenko, is very hard to believe or comprehend that the youth system hasn’t developed or produced a better left back than Mykolenko, Everton need a complete revamp of the coaching and managerial side of the youth set up, maybe employ young and up and coming foreign coach, just getting nowhere with the current system.

Heard from a very reliable source that Haaland wants to come and join his best mate Grealish at us next season.

By all accounts he wants a change and is excited at the prospects of playing with Mykolenko and Beto.

He also thinks he would suit us perfectly by being able to play more on the counter attack like his Dortmund days.

This one has a real chance of getting done.

Hahah. I am not slagging anyone off bud, simply calling it as I see it. The eye test alone was enough to see that Barry would do well to become a 10 goal a season PL striker.

Our Franc on the other hand, even if he managed the same number, he would do a lot more for the team in terms of his ability to drop deep and link with the likes of Grealish and Nidaye, his general hold up play (first touch) , his ability to carry the ball and his calmness in possession and composure to pick out a pass if his teammate is in a more advantageous position. Just an overall better player for me mate.

Barry needs time to adjust to the league, like any foreign player who has never experienced the Premier league before. That will come with minutes under his belt. He's got potential and time to reach that, let's not kill him during the first two months of him joining us.

I think the pace of the prem is the problem for him at the moment, he got caught a couple of times waiting for the ball and someone stole in and had it away, credit to him he chased after it And got stuck in . As is often the case it does take time to adjust to the pace of the game and the aggression I’m sure as he’s young he’ll adapt quickly.

He hasn't show anything to give reason why he will become a decent no 9. Moise Kean had a difficult time at us but you could still see he had the attributes, mainly pace and power to cause defences problems. I would say this lad runs around like a headless chicken but he jogs, even with fresh legs.

Not that we have seen much but we saw him fluff his lines with good chances twice in pre-season and then the only thing we have seen in the league is the 1v1 chance he had against cart horse Mings. By all accounts his strength was his running with the ball into open grass, however, he didn't look for one second like he would score.

30m on a dud. This will be another Patterson scenario where some excuses will keep coming but the level of performance/ ability, or lack thereof remains the same.

I suppose the good thing is that due to his age etc we may be able to recoup some of the fee.
