Watched Kaishu Sano again tonight (recently against England) . He managed to grab a goal as well. Not sure there is a better Gueye replacement out there tbh. Would be an astute signing for sure.
10 Apr 2026 07:54:43
It would be an astute commercial signing too, Bn. As well as bringing in quality, the new owners are going to want to appeal to as many markets as possible, and having a Japanese player in our squad sells shirts and encourages visits to the stadium.
10 Apr 2026 12:23:34
I can't say I know him but I know you know your stuff, Bn. Can I ask if you have heard of a young French CB called Kevin Pedro that's been linked with us???
10 Apr 2026 23:52:12
Not wrong, JB. You only have to look at Spurs with Son. Their reach in Asia is massive as a result. Makes perfect sense, mate. Add to the fact he is a fantastic midfielder that wouldn't cost a bomb.
Not familiar with him at all, in all honesty, Ron. Although I watch my fair share of European football, I would be lying if I said I watch Ligue 2 games.
A young kid that hasn't even played 20 games for St Etienne - an absolute unknown to me, mate.
St Etienne do have previous of developing decent young defenders. Arsenal's Saliba and one of our own, albeit for a short period - Kurt Zouma.
Seems to be on the radar of Bournemouth, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Stade Rennais F.C. and Lille OSC, who are all very good at recruiting young talent.
Can't really advise on this one, sorry, Ron.
11 Apr 2026 08:18:50
Cheers, BN. He must have something if they are all watching him.
09 Apr 2026 15:46:37
Do these journalists have nothing better to write about, as if Garner would be interested in joining Villa?
09 Apr 2026 17:46:51
I read at one point Forest were going to get Garner because he'd love to be in another relegation battle. I read anything and everything, but now it's all with a pinch of salt. When they sign, I will believe.
09 Apr 2026 18:09:42
Wish they would link Barry, Beto and Myko with moves away but can see Garner being our nxt captain.
08 Apr 2026 14:13:35
Arsenal's result last night means that 5th place is now guaranteed to get you Champions League football. 3 points off 5th, a couple of good results away from this being a realistic outcome. Bet the board wish they'd pushed the boat out and got a striker in now!
08 Apr 2026 19:32:33
Bloney, right mate, I wished they had as well.
08 Apr 2026 21:14:15
I understand that getting a decent striker signed in any window is far from straightforward, but to not get a fullback or two was just as criminal for me, Gents.
Hopefully Moyes can keep the performances going. It is a shame the break came when it did. The next 2 games are massive for us given the respective league positions.
09 Apr 2026 12:37:02
Very true, BN, but look how far DM has brought us to where we are so quick, not many on here would not have dreamed he could get us so high up the table, mate, a couple of windows and we can easily be in the top five, God good times ahead, mate.
09 Apr 2026 12:59:40
Absolutely, GB. No slant on Moyes at all. More our recruitment team as a whole.
Like, you have already said in previous posts. Imagine where we could be if we had got a striker and fullback in. At the very minimum, you could reasonably expect anywhere between another 3 to 9 points and that would put us joint 3rd, mate, and in CL land.
For now though, let's tackle Brentford and get 3 pts to go level with the Reds and put the pressure on them and Fulham for the evening game.
09 Apr 2026 18:34:31
With you there mate.
07 Apr 2026 20:42:17
Hi Ed's I've just sent a. Picture to the sightings page, as it's the Everton pages I hope it won't cause offence to anyone especially as it's about the other lot but it does contain a swear word. As I didn't create it I have no idea how to edit it to make it more acceptable but still obvious.
See what you think. I'm sure Ed 25 will love it but I don't want to get in trouble and blocked
Cheers in advance Big C.
{Ed025's Note - i imagine it will be edited by either ED001 or ED033 Big C, those are both reds mate so i would not hold your breath.. :)

Looking forward to our game with Brentford on Saturday. A real six pointer. We have a good record against them having only lost once in the last five years, would be really massive for us to get a win on Saturday and we are more than capable with the same Team as the one we walloped Chelsea with, and get closer to European footy.
I’m going 0-2 COYB.
07 Apr 2026 13:40:27
Who is scoring GB?
07 Apr 2026 13:51:34
KDH and Jimmy, mate.
07 Apr 2026 15:48:38
Is this the same Brentford that put four past us a couple of months ago?
07 Apr 2026 16:43:22
Yep, and the same Brentford that has only beaten us once in five games, and, incidentally, we will probably be the same team line up that thumped Chelsea 3-0, no brainer then, mate.
07 Apr 2026 17:37:42
Will take that GB, mate. Maybe swap one of them with Beto so he can keep his confidence up and maintain/increase his value ey!
07 Apr 2026 17:53:04
Defo BN, we ran the Gooners ragged for long periods of that game, walloped Chelsea last time. Nothing to be worried about our game on Sat, mate.
08 Apr 2026 12:48:13
We were very poor against Brentford and were having a wobble at home for a while. Tbh, I think they couldn't believe their luck that day as no one expected us to be that poor.
I'd like to think we'd be way better this time around and they will be very weary of our away form.
Expect a different display this time. Definitely a game I'm looking forward to.
08 Apr 2026 13:44:00
I hope we have a reaction like against Newcastle and pop them at home having suffered a battering at BMD..
1-2 for me. Beto and Ndiaye. Thiago for them.
06 Apr 2026 22:33:17
Thierry Small, wonderkid who was way too good for Everton, so left to seek his fortune elsewhere, scored a wondergoal today - resign him.
07 Apr 2026 13:42:30
I think he wanted to be starting over Lucas Digne/Baines Cookie, much like Mr Robinson.
Impossible to play them ahead of what we had at the time. Just one of those things.
I don't blame either for wanting to go, though - fair play to both. Have to back yourself in this world.
07 Apr 2026 15:50:42
Lads still only 21 and is pretty rapid.
07 Apr 2026 18:28:36
Bmd Bn, agree, touch tongue in cheek - he has a bright future as a top Championship player and still has potential for Prem. The own goal he scored yesterday, though, is such a catastrophe and well worth a look!
07 Apr 2026 23:08:21
Wow. Just checked it out, Cookie. At least it was on his weaker foot ey! What a howler.
08 Apr 2026 13:51:31
Just a wild swipe wasn't it?
Such a shame we got rid of Digne. Good bit of recruitment following Baines retiring. Oh, how we could do with some more recruitments like that this window.
06 Apr 2026 13:48:00
Whilst we're putting out our shopping lists for summer, would like to add Azees from Millwall.
Can play either flank, beat a man, and delivers a string of great crosses.
I guess availability will depend on whether they get promotion, or not, if not, don't think they could afford to turn down a good offer.
06 Apr 2026 16:09:42
Watched the game yesterday and thought he looked good too, AB. Also thought that Diouf at West Ham looked very good. He's been mentioned a few times, can do everything from left back and still young.
06 Apr 2026 10:38:27
Braiden's back training with the Senior squad. I'm pretty sure we'll see him involved with the first team before the season's out.
06 Apr 2026 11:51:14
Would like to think so, mate, some involvement would be really good.
06 Apr 2026 14:02:50
I don't think he's ready for the demands of the Premier League. He's got talent and potential, and hopefully he keeps developing the way he has. But right now he's exactly where he needs to be, being integrated into the 1st team for experience from U-21s. Then he'll go on loan for a season or two to get used to senior football.
06 Apr 2026 15:05:30
You are probably right there, Joe, but he can still be given some cameos, which will be fantastic for his development and confidence.
He has been playing Men's football since he was 15. From what I have seen of him in training, he does not shirk the physical battles with our 1st teamers.
He might not be ready to lead the line, but I think he could still be used on the flanks or just off the striker.
If we don't try it, we will never know.
Whilst loans can be good for a player, how many have we seen from our academy just fade out, e.g. Garbutt, Ledson and more. The so-called big clubs seem to blood their youngsters in, so why can't we. If they don't turn out to be good enough, their value can only increase by having PL minutes on their CV, if we move them on.
06 Apr 2026 15:30:02
As you say, BN, unless we try and get him involved we won't know, so give him a go.
06 Apr 2026 16:08:19
If it gets to the point where we have no hope of Europe, then put him in the side. Until then, play the winning formation from the Chelsea game, barring any injuries.
{Ed025's Note - that makes sense to me Ace..
07 Apr 2026 19:29:13
Although he's mainly a striker, he seems to perform better behind striker. I'd certainly not be too bothered about opposition roughing him up, as he can give as much as he takes. I remember a certain lightweight called Juninho, who played for Middlesbrough in the Premier League.
He did alright, didn't he. Plus players like Cole Palmer & Phil Foden aren't exactly muscle men. I'd say give Graham a go if we are comfortable in some games.
