Hey dmsblues your not grumpy your right about 1 win in 8 what I meant was the fact was we have more of an attacking threat than under SD not sitting back and trying to either defend a 1-0 lead or trying to keep the score down. We all realise it's going to take a few transfer windows to sort out but we definitely have the spine of a decent team. I was wondering if any of the Ed's have heard when the Man City case will be over I'm pretty sure that Guardiola said it would be over in march.

My son told me yesterday that City verdict will now be in the summer. he's not in the know as far as I know but he seems as certain as a typical 14yr old.

Here we go deadline day and I'm hoping we can get in KDH from Chelsea just to give us more of a threat from midfield after losing mangala to injury hopefully when he's recovered we can get him in the summer. I agree with ed025 that unless it's a special number 9 I would rather wait until summer and make a statement signing to lead us into our new stadium, hopefully someone in the big dunc ilk. Hopefully those 2 goals give Beto confidence and with chemiti due back soon another option. COYB.

Wing backs and midfield priority. It's all a priority but a couple of or 1 wing back who can cross would be an awesome thing to have on top of the already awesome improvement to the existing stock. DCL 2 months away, Chimeti perhaps a week or 2 before full training. Betos resurgence and if we are stuck with Broja, hopefully he too will be back with some games still to play. It's all of a sudden fleeting glances to where Brentford are as opposed to where Ipswich are. No alarms and no need to panic. Short of losing every game I think we are already safe and 1 more win will make it certain short of a miracle change of form for the bottom sides. PSR seems to need this June to roll through to be able to flex the money again. Be interesting to see how active the youth recruitment is? It's kept us afloat for a few now.

I would love us to get KDH think he would be perfect for us. Needed to strengthen in midfield and looks like we have done that with Alcaraz coming in. Would still like another striker in as still have doubts Beto is good enough to rely on for the rest of the season.

Hi eds is there any truth in the rumour that spurs are interested in onana? I was only asking because it might help us sort out the dele Ali problem. Also if chelsea are really interested in pickford I would take a sensible offer because it would free up his big wages and I think that in Virginia we have a good enough replacement. I'm resigned to us losing our better players but we will have to be clever using free transfers and hopefully not wasting our 2 loans this time. I just hope that thelwell has a plan this transfer window.

Andy, what has given you the idea that Virginia is a good enough replacement for Pickford?

I am not digging the lad out as I simply haven't seen enough of him to suggest that he can step into Pickfords shoes. After all, he has played 1 PL game, 2 Championship games at Reading, 1 Primeira game at Lisbon and 17 Eredivisie games for Cambuur.

I would rather us go and pick up a more experienced keeper who is at a big club but is not getting enough minutes like Ortega at City. I think he went to them for a free and would be a drop from Pickfords wages, as he is on around 85k a week,

Solid all round keeper. Good shot stopper, positioning is great, angles are solid, good with his feet, passing. Would be a decent replacement but not sure whether he would want to get 30+ PL games a season at us or bask in the easy sun of Man City.

I have watched him and of course he is plenty good enough (my opinion). Nobody is irreplaceable.

Morning all, ain't posted in a while but it's been brilliant seeing the improvement under moyes and starting to enjoy my Saturdays again. I can't believe that Branthwaite would seriously consider utd or spurs as a step up from us but if he wants to go as long as we get top money I would let him. I'm just a bit worried come the end of season with all these players out of contract that we would go out and get a load of new players in and it would take a while to gel. I'm hoping we get Delap but we definitely have to let go of DCL Keane Doucs send back Broja and Harrison and hopefully use our 2 loans wisely next season, would definitely keep Charlie and would love mangala back if he's fully fit after his injury.

As you say if he wants to leave as long as the money is right then you have to accept it and move on. The positive is it would add substantial funds to the transfer kitty. But the negative is we would be losing a potential world class defender.

You’d hope a few teams would be in for a top young British CB, and that that pushes the price up. If we got silly money, we could improve the squad in more than one position.

Great performance today it was great to watch us attack and chase down teams rather than sit back and let them attack us. Moyes has given the players belief and it's showed over the last few games, instead of dreading the derby next week I'm actually really looking forward to it. I hope that little rat maupay has been looking at our results now. Have a great weekend guys it's been a while since I've looked at the table without fearing the worst.

Well done today boys, it was a brilliant first half especially and a well deserved 3points I hope that this gives us the confidence to go on a good unbeaten run. It was great to see us going for a second goal not like under Dyche who would have got us to drop deep and try to hang on. Hopefully a striker and midfielder to come in this window and I hope that we all enjoy this weekend after a really good performance.

Enjoy tonight andyefc123 I think we will all be happy with the result, I was just wondering if any of the Ed's have any info on any potential new signings also do we know if garner and Tim are fit . i'm really hoping that we have a go tonight and 4 points from these 2 home games would make me a happy blue.

Absolutely dire and if the Friedkin group still think they need 100 day review they are as deluded as that clown managing us. They need to get in someone who will get us trying to win football games not playing to draw and try and nick a winner. Dyche has no idea how to adapt and as for the lack of goals he has known about that problem since he's been here and still not sorted it. I'm just hoping we have someone lined up because we are in deep trouble and I'm not putting any new managers name forward because I wanted lampard and this idiot and look how that turned out . All we want is a team that plays good football and goes out trying to win not the shower of rubbish we are playing now, hopefully Ed's 025 will have some good news on the potential new manager. Change is needed now whilst we still have a chance of survival and we still have the outstanding charge against us from last year so we need wins asap.
