Just seen us linked with a move for Trevor Chalobah, not seen much of him but looked decent the few times i have seen him. Would be a better option than Maguire if we could get him on loan.

No problem

1.) 07 Aug 2023 20:08:33
Very good defender. Quick and good tackler.

2.) 07 Aug 2023 21:31:59
If we start now, would we meet the transfer deadline?

3.) 08 Aug 2023 07:25:11
Have always rated him. he's a big lad, strong, young and a natural defender. Probably all the reasons he'll end up somewhere that has a good chance of silverware. But if its true and it gets done, itd be great business. I just don't see him coming here given our last few PL finishing positions.

Football Insider reporting Branthwaite has asked to leave. Any truth to this Eds?

No problem

{Ed002's Note - Jarrad Branthwaite (CB) Loan well well at PSV who will look to making the move permanent. Roma provide an option whilst Mr Mourinho is there, but that will likely leave if he does. West Ham, Aston Villa and Manchester United have sent scouts. I am not certain of any Liverpool interest but when asked, the player said he would consider it. Will be at Everton in pre-season and will likely look for assurances of game time, particularly with Mina and Coady gone.}

1.) 27 Jun 2023 20:57:20
He should be given his shot now.

2.) 27 Jun 2023 21:29:24
It’s very risky. He’s no doubt a very good player but if we are looking at scrapping it out at the lower end again then would he be good enough? If we’re not then yes, give him a run. I do like him though and would love next season to be a platform for him to cement his place in the team.

3.) 28 Jun 2023 08:19:04
No risk. He's already better than what we have.

4.) 29 Jun 2023 18:55:06
Bang on Brass. From what I've seen off the stats dyche liked Keane because of his ability in the air. At 6ft 4 branthwaitte should be able to fill that gap and be an all round better player. Dyche likes a long diagonal and tarks can do it and branthwaitte has apparently got really good passing so hopefully it works well.

In talks with free agent Andre Ayew apparently, i can't contain my excitement?.

No problem

1.) 31 Jan 2023 10:19:58
Seems we never learn but we are where we are!

2.) 31 Jan 2023 10:48:46
If we’re looking to add 3 or 4, one might need to be a free transfer. On a short term contract he offers us vast experience in big games. He still looked like he had a goal in him at the World Cup, could be an option off the bench for the rest of the season. If he’s the only one we bring in I’d be disappointed, but as part of an overall plan, we could do worse.

3.) 31 Jan 2023 11:04:17
Just thought, could bringing Ayew in be an attempt to persuade Sulemana to choose us over Southampton? Both Ghanaian.

4.) 31 Jan 2023 12:08:23
Apparently having medical with Saints at 2pm.

5.) 31 Jan 2023 12:14:31
Sulemana going Southampton plan e required.

6.) 31 Jan 2023 12:37:04
When you think our club can’t sink any lower. I honestly believe the board want us to go down as bad as that sounds.

20 Jan 2022 16:38:23
Is it true that we've spoken with Cannavaro Eds? Don't know if he's any good as a manager, but reckon he's still an upgrade on Keane even if he is 48.

No problem

{Ed002's Note - Fabio Cannavaro has been proposed to Everton by a third-party who knows that the club are going to struggle to attract some of the coaches they have considered. He is not the solution.}

1.) 20 Jan 2022 20:48:56
Where going to end up with Mashcerano lol.

2.) 20 Jan 2022 21:23:36
Of course he isn't the solution but when the 3rd party offers!

3.) 20 Jan 2022 21:42:34
Who is the best solution ed.

{Ed002's Note - Fonseca would be a perfect solution.}

4.) 20 Jan 2022 23:11:37
Are we interested in him Ed? Would he be interested in us? Would rather take him over Rooney lampard etc. He’s got more experience than any of the I know it’s pl experience but he’s been at clubs bigger than us with higher expectations too. Would love the likes of him or kovac or marsch.

{Ed002's Note - I rather doubt he would be interested.}

5.) 21 Jan 2022 00:34:28
Fonscsa would snatch their hands off if offered.

6.) 21 Jan 2022 06:52:28
Totally agree with you Ed. Can you not have a word in FM ear.

7.) 20 Jan 2022 20:14:17
Looking like it’s going to be lampard or Rooney. Ed’s who do you think is better suited?

{Ed025's Note - none of them eddy, im quite happy to let dunc give it a go and see how it goes mate, then reassess in the summer when better candidates may be available ..

8.) 21 Jan 2022 15:38:46
If Rooney or Lampard don't fancy it now, they are certainly not going to get an offer once we are back on our feet.

9.) 21 Jan 2022 17:41:31
Well Rooney has stated he's not heard a dickybird so I'd also assume neither had Lamps. Let's not bash someone on the basis of lies printed on News now.

Only 2 points fom safety with a far superior goal difference. Even with our terrible start to the season our ppg is 1.16, the best of the promoted sides Luton has 0.5 ppg, that puts us out of relegation within 4 matches. Got to keep our heads up and fight as 1. Us against the world COYB.

No problem

{Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

1.) 17 Nov 2023 13:53:14
I wonder what bill would have made of it?

Does anyone know where we're upto with Chermiti? Just seen Alan Myers thinks the medical went well then saw an article from Portugal saying the lads still in Portugal sorting out paper work and is yet to have a medical. Which is it?

1.) 08 Aug 2023 10:16:29
It's Everton so nobody knows anything ?.

Good results this weekend, its in our own hands, unfortunately, in our hands kinda feels like Edward Scissorhands trying to pleasure himself.

No problem

1.) 30 Apr 2023 17:31:19
I just hope with the good results this weekend, our lot don't get complacent thinking it's an easy ride ahead.

2.) 30 Apr 2023 18:11:38
Oh 100% we are getting shafted tomorrow because they can’t be bothered now Leeds and Southampton have lost.

3.) 30 Apr 2023 23:09:35
Classic Swan. Nothing is 100% until it’s happened.

We need another striker regardless, Cannon couldn't get a game and Maupay was awful so i don't think it makes much difference if they go.

Made me laugh that Tomtom, not a chance mate! Did anyone miss him against Wolves? Don't get me wrong the lad works hard for the shirt and on occasion looks like an absolute baller but unfortunately tose occasions are few and far between.

100% with you there Ed. Insufficient evidence doesn't mean innocent. The girl getting back with him doesn't prove a thing either, anyone heard of Stockholm syndrome? Need to stay well clear we're enough of a rubbish show as it is.

No problem

{Ed025's Note - exactly NP, if you think we are at a low ebb now if he joined us our credibilty would be through the floor mate..

No laughing matter those sticker albums ST got into fights regularly in school over swapsies! Also experienced one of my most shameful moments when i asked my dad to take me to the swap shop on the dark side of Stanley Park, i was 7 or 8 and he made me go in alone and barely spoke to me for about a week.

My gut feeling when reading that was how disgusting it is to price out the average fan but in reality these kinds of seats are the reason we needed a new stadium, the corporate aspect is vital to increase revenue and secure the clubs future.

Mate, the RS hired a special-ist throw-in coach surely there's a finishing coach out there. I wonder if the likes of Lineker, Shearer or Wright fancy popping in to finch farm a couple of times a week, or maybe Henry? what's Aguero upto these days? Maybe that's the role Sharpey should of had instead of a seat on the board?

Would not want to lose anybody mid season but if we have to sell and its between Onana and Branthwaite I'd sell Onana in a heartbeat, Branthwaite is special.
