I'd heard Steven Gerrard was sent off yesterday for an incident with a nine year old ball boy?
I didn't hear it even mentioned on Match of the Day and it's certainly not in the BBC match report.

3-1 Win today mates, I wanted Rafa 3/ 4 managers ago, he will get the best out of our players,

Lee1616

1.) 21 Aug 2021 16:55:08
We need a center-half (maybe two) and a right-back soon!

2.) 21 Aug 2021 17:03:35
Yes mate, should and could have won that.

3.) 21 Aug 2021 17:04:59
Defo bm I would rather address the center halfs than any other position at this time what's happened to keane madness.

4.) 21 Aug 2021 20:05:39
Give away 2 goals in 2 games. Surely he won't start next game.

Everton submit stadium planning application for Goodison Park -
why ?

Lee1616

1.) 31 Jan 2019 12:24:18
Better disabled access seems reasonable still going to be a Goodison for a few years yet.

2.) 31 Jan 2019 13:44:48
And new roof, so yes we will not be moving for a long time,

3.) 31 Jan 2019 17:55:30
I think it is for when we run equestrian events. let's face it we have a few donkeys to start with :-)

Rooney, 32, will snub the move to the United States if manager Sam Allardyce leaves.

Lee1616

1.) 11 May 2018 12:30:05
He arrived at FF today and left around 12ish. didn't train.

2.) 11 May 2018 11:56:47
They both need to be gone.

3.) 11 May 2018 18:11:19
looking at Rooneys stats before and after Christmas I disagree I still think Rooney has something to offer and think it should be Sam sacked and Rooney kept.

4.) 11 May 2018 22:23:03
Rooney staying, glad someone stood up to fat Sam.

5.) 12 May 2018 08:54:49
me too Stig Rooney is a blue and can see the damage being done to our club and if Rooney threatening to leave forces the boards hand I'm glad he has done it.

6.) 12 May 2018 09:42:53
Ooh Rooney or Sam. That's like asking, do you want a Ferrari or an STD.

{Ed001's Note - more like, do you want a clapped out old banger than a Ferrari, let's be honest. His legs went years ago and he has about as much mobility as Sam these days.}

7.) 12 May 2018 11:54:33
although his legs aren't what they were his football brain is still there ED01 and if you get fast legs around him who make the right runs Rooney will pick them out I think he has suffered more than most with Sam as manager.

{Ed001's Note - if he had a brain he would be dangerous. Sorry but he has been awful for years and he was one of your weakest links before Sam arrived. In fact you were all saying it on here before Allardyce was picked, all moaning he needed to be dropped. Now you are all letting your hatred for Allardyce cloud that.}

8.) 12 May 2018 12:48:18
Got to agree with ed on this one, he has helped us Rooney but he is well past it now, we need younger legs, too many times I’ve seen him this season just get the ball stolen off him by a younger man, turned inside out and left behind. On top of that although it would be great to see Sam go now, I admit I was willing to give him a chance and even fought his corner at first, the man now has me disillusioned with the stuff he does and the crap he chats, I really don’t want to see players start dictating and holding the board to ransom.

If he not happy let him go, then let Sam go as well. Yes, players do help portray the feelings of the fans, which helps, but don’t want us turning into a Chelsea, where players just constantly undermine the manager and the people in charge allow it.

9.) 12 May 2018 13:10:09
I think Rooney still got a lot to offer, think he is good for the kids, future in backroom staff.

10.) 12 May 2018 14:14:04
To be honest, ed001, I've always thought that around ten goals would be a realistic target for WR to hit. Without them goals, we would be 7 or 8 points worse off so I think he has been successful in his return. I agree he is definitely not the same player that he has been in previous years and, if he ends up staying, I think next season he will be spending more time on the bench.
The entire squad has been below par this season and there have been worse players getting game time than Wayne, Williams and Martina spring to mind. I wouldn't be unhappy if he ends up staying but I would wish him well if he moved on.

11.) 12 May 2018 20:35:45
I agree in part with Ed001 about his mobility, but his footballing brain is still fully functional and that could be invaluable to the younger lads. Plus I don't think he'll mind being used as a sub more if we are winning/ playing more attractive football. He is clearly unhappy with the Fat Man's tactics imo and I think he's been really clever hinting he'll leave if the Fat Man stays.

12.) 13 May 2018 13:25:34
Do we need a 150k ambassador for the Kids?
I think its sensible to call time now.
He can take the Sun and easy life of the states or he can take the signing on fee, barely play, leave the family behind and head to China for 6 months.

He has done himself ok this season. The surroundings of a poor season have maybe done for him.
I wanted him back but he can barely move these days. He needs so much space and time that to be honest young average players are getting the best of him.

I actually think he should retire myself. I bet he tanks wherever he goes, regardless the lower standard. Pace is key. Shame he doesn't get a last run out.

Gordo CF again, did nothing last week so why, Frank has no idea, sell our best striker with no repayment, that's the board?

Lee1616

How good was Nathan Patterson on his Premier League debut?
Tested by some of the best in the league and came through with very good grades. Room to grow, but he's still only 20.

Lee1616

1.) 07 Aug 2022 18:32:35
He did well mate, we are really going places now Onana to come and Coady agreed terms just one or two strikers and bingo.

What will a protest do if Moshri and Kenwright walk away because of fans pressure, odds on we will just get some venture capitalist trying to make money out of us and won't give a flying @@@@ about the football.
Yes we're deep in the s@@t, we need shovels. Unless you've got a couple of billion in your back pocket Lee.

2.) 23 Jul 2022 15:03:38
Absolute nonsense protest.

We’re all aware there have been issues at club.

However now club seems to being sensible regards recruitment we’re having a protest?

Surely should see how we do in window and start of season and then see if a protest is the way to go.

23 Jul 2022 11:56:11
The 2nd highest paid board in the PL is also the least experienced.

Since 2016;

?The club have lost over £1 million a week
?Spent over 500 million on transfers
?Spent over £800 million on wages

It's time for change.

Lee1616

1.) 23 Jul 2022 12:52:30
Ah yes, but when other boards at well known clubs face a dilemma, they always think "What would the Everton board do? Because they always get it right".

2.) 23 Jul 2022 13:43:24
So what are you after Lee?

The board are trying to fix the problems they've made by:

Sorting out the wage bill

Be stricter in their negotiations for new players so they don't make he mistakes of he past

Support he manager by getting he players he and the DOF want

Still building one of he most magnificent stadiums in the world in one of the most iconic places in the world

They recognised the mistakes they've been making.

It makes me laugh out loud when people have a go at Bill for his handling of he club. He had very little money and kept us competitive when he was on his own and suffered years of abuse for it. We got the money man into the club and it shows more than ever how much of a good job he done.

Most footy fans, especially the protesting type are thick as pig swill and don't understand a thing about running a club and especially one at the pinnacle of English football.

I love how stupid they sound. We want change? What change? They never say. There's one thing they want which you have to earn on the pitch and that's a trophy. It's so easy isn't. Change the owner, if that doesn't work graffiti the stadium to get get another manager. Utter rubbish.

We showed towards the end of last season what turns the fortunes around and bigger than any owner is how the supporters support their club. But these idiots don't learn and will pile pressure upon pressure on these players, manager, owner and all without accepting any culpability.

Evertonians and most epl supporters are a spoilt bunch of moaning brats.

Supporters lower down the leagues where they don't have a chance of success but still go to support their team puts all of us to shame.

Aside from all that. Looking forward to the Keiv game. I wonder if they'll staging any protests about football?

3.) 23 Jul 2022 16:20:43
While I have no interest in the protests and certainly don't back them I have to ask BJU how are the board supporting the manager and the DOF in getting players? 1 freebie so far. Learnt lessons from the past? They have been forced to by FFP. Sorting out the wage bill? Several high earners were out of contract and Gomes and Mina are still there with no sign of going so far. If fans want to protest its their right, doesn't make them stupid.

4.) 23 Jul 2022 21:40:04
There's more than 5 weeks left of he window. Honestly, every bloody season there are dozens of people moaning we've not signed anyone but without fail we always do. Everyone wants everything yesterday.

Just be patient. If at the end of the window we haven't signed anyone great come back and have a moan. Until then, just sit back and wait to see what happens.

5.) 23 Jul 2022 23:14:00
BJUS
i agree with your sentiments about lower league clubs living their clubs no matter what but yet too do fight when things need fighting for! Look at Carlisle these past few years and how their supporters have turned things around. Any supporter who truly believes the current regime isn’t right should fight for change from current regime or a new regime.

6.) 24 Jul 2022 07:46:34
This isn't a government pinhead, he owns the bloody club. It ain't like he's going anywhere.

We called for change last season, he did it by hiring lampard.

Htey stopped the scattergun signings and they signed a right back and have now signed a cb which we desperately needed. They have been trying to sign Cm's which we also need but at the right proces and wages and they have been getting people off the books.

Hes building us a bloody great stadium. Got a fans advisory board to connect better with he fans and added known hero's to the club so we have a face to relate to.

So tell me what do you want? Is it just a vendetta against him, bill, Denise?

What change do you want? A trophy? Well look at who wins them. every year! Look at their resources! It will take time for us to get back there once the stadium is built and we have real finance to challenge them. Until then be patient and understanding.
