For fellow posters including our own Ed025 and of course lurkers, neutrals and otherwise .
Thoughts of being hasty?
''Only in three seasons in Everton's history have they scored fewer goals after playing this number of league games.
They currently have the division's lowest expected goals (xG) rate at 18.33.
The Merseysiders have had 63 shots on target this season. Southampton are the only side to fare worse with 58 to date.
They had zero shots on target in Saturday's loss at Bournemouth and the goalless draw at Arsenal last month.
Everton's goals-per-game rate of 0.79 is the lowest number for the team in 13 seasons. It has dropped from 1.05 last term and 0.89 in 2022-23.''

Personally I feel vindicated, however Sean Dyche, I hope brushes himself down and moves on with dignity.

Well in the last 10 games the only player to score more than 1 goal for us is Dawson, and he plays for wolves. Terrible statistics.

Think it should have been done on Monday or tomorrow morning. Timing seems very odd.

He will continue waffling and struggle to get another Club. I do not wish him well, it took TFG takeover to get rid and even so I fear it is going to be a battle.

''Friedkin has appointed Marc Watts as Everton's executive chairman. Watts said: "Today marks a momentous and proud occasion for The Friedkin Group as we become custodians of this iconic football club. We are committed to leading Everton into an exciting new era both on and off the pitch. Providing immediate financial stability to the club has been a key priority, and we are delighted to have achieved this. While restoring Everton to its rightful place in the Premier League table will take time, today is the first step in that journey. "
It really is a good morning, fellow Blues. . .

RIP ED02
The insight, as well as his foresight that he brought to the rumours' forum, was always where to look to confirm and or quell any media nonsense.
My condolences to family and friends.

Theres a rumour going round that Beto can score for fun . . . started by his agent
'Beto bring goals to a team'? If we have the Zenith in striker ability then I must be in a time slip or something.

Saw this on Transferfeed.com Big C
''Everton are considering potential replacements for Michael Keane and have shown interest in Yann Bisseck. Inter are open to discussing Bisseck's possible departure, but only if the conditions are right, and importantly, only after the Club World Cup, scheduled from June 14th to July 13th. The Italian club values him at approximately €35m-€40m (£30m-£34m) . Since Bisseck is under contract until 2029, Inter is not under any obligation to sell unless their valuation is met. Everton is among four Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, West Ham, and Bournemouth, that have shown interest in the defender. Bisseck has made 34 appearances for Inter this season, contributing to 18 clean sheets, and has also been called up to the German national team.

Yes, he does Ed. for €9 million if conditions are met.
{Ed001's Note - thanks, I thought so. I mean they could just be buying him to flip, but it seems unlikely.}

DM has given us what some of the fans, me included, thought was beyond our capabilities, that is PL football at BMD.
When I read stuff about the Hammers and the predicament they are in now and how Potter has pretty much failed to ignite them, I wonder what's next for us, TFG as previously mentioned seem to put results before over sentimentality etc. .
Our new stadium plus investment in new players will certainly be a new benchmark for the supporters and owners alike, I hope David Moyes does well next season, I really do because I am sure the scrutiny dial will be turned up a tad.

I am with you Ace.

Being opinionated is a fans prerogative to be derogative and or appreciative that is in my opinion lol.
17 May 2025 08:33:09
Agreed mate, I think the dynamics of what everyone expects will change by a considerable degree and with that, old mistakes won't go unnoticed any more Ed .
{Ed025's Note - this is a great chance for us to be reborn as a club GD and i just dont want us to blow it mate..
17 May 2025 08:17:53
I have similar views, Ed.
{Ed025's Note - i am desperate for DM to succeed GD because that will mean the club is going in the right direction, but i do fear that if we keep hold of some of our under performers and show blind loyalty then we will struggle again mate..
