To me it looks like we are waiting for loans now, so I reckon bony slimani, or some other from a foreign team, and the same for a defender, just can't see us getting much done now, I think if we had money and there was a player we wanted we would of heard about it by now, I did read about us being linked to the German Gomez now I would love him, but will he leave Munich, I doubt it.

Slimane I think is a really good player but Shakespeare does not seem to like him, he seems a good option at this stage.

I think also Niasse will get a move maybe on loan. Good luck to him but harsh reality is he is not good enough but not his fault we signed him.

I hope that you are correct about the striker Ed. Getting a little late. If we don't get a striker in I for one can live with that. There will be more transfer windows, steady Improvement is better than a knee jerk reaction.

{Ed025's Note - fair point mike but koeman is desperate for a striker and he usually gets what he wants mate..

I thought we might move Lennon on however after Thursday I began to wonder if he might offer something to the squad with his pace and that he knows he's a squad player.
Then had me wondering if Lookman might benefit from a loan similar to Dowell who is thriving at Forest should come back like a new signing!

Just a thought ED, do the rules allow Athletico Madrid to buy him then loan him out immediately. I also wonder if RK is smiling because it is nothing to do with Costa, that is a smoke screen but he has someone lined up.

{Ed001's Note - I think if he signs for them he can't be registered so unable to go out on loan. That is what happened when Barca had a transfer ban and signed Arda Turan, he spent 6 months watching footie.}

I agree Ed I would much prefer to be playing, and given the choice I'd love to play for the team I support! Which is why I don't understand why Barkley isn't chomping at the bit to be part of what is happening at Everton. 🤷🏻‍♂️.

He is listerning to very poor advice, plus he cannot stand being told off by the manager, if you think he's wrong, grow a set, and go out and prove him wrong.

Hi fellow blues. I read this forum every day but this is my first post (apologies, no excuses. won't be my last :) )

Few thoughts on our chances againts spurs this season (our next home game) and equally every other teams in the PL, i can see us dominating tbh. think this could be the season they're going to want to forget in the future

Gotta strong feeling Spurs are going to be the team that don't play to full potential this season with playing home games at Wembley. I can see all teams playing away to them having that extra confidence boost as a win away to tottenham is. a win at wembley which doesn't come often for 75% of the prem!

Whats everyones thoughts?

Mowfee he asked about our next home game which is spurs not that i'm thinking that far ahead especially with Chelsea tmw maybe a point against them and then I'm confident about 3 points against spurs RK seems to have a plan for every team we play and with a good few options in the players he can pick to implement his plans.
After the Chelsea game think all us supporters will be seeing if we get the final piece or pieces to the jigsaw in the last week of the transfer window but all in all good times ahead.
