Another twist apparently announced by ssn €30 mill for Gana from PSG we will see.

17 Jan 2019 13:11:51
Good news that Ryan Astley has signed his first professional contract for the club, few other teams were interested and has had a good season so far stepping into he u23 squad.

1.) 17 Jan 2019 15:02:37
Didnt he sing, never going to give you up.

2.) 17 Jan 2019 16:39:00
nah smit.

3.) 17 Jan 2019 20:20:56
lol @ Smit.

4.) 18 Jan 2019 02:10:07
Watched him at Stoke last week, I like him, stood out as Everton’s best player, very tenacious in his making, fast, reads the game, top prospect, wouldn’t surprise me if he was in the first team squad next season.

16 May 2018 09:51:18
And there it is 09.50 16/ 5/ 18 big Sam finally gone now let's enjoy the summer.

1.) 16 May 2018 10:37:05
Fantastic news mate.

2.) 16 May 2018 10:38:59
Would like to add, thank you BS for your 7 months in charge. You got us out of a troubled situation. And got us to finish 8th. Which would have been a dream for most of us at the point he picked up the team. But he isn't the type of manager to get us to the next stage. Push into the top 4. Looks a bit of a pipe dream looking at at how we played in comparison to the those above us. I am now excited again for next year now that BIG Sam has gone and rumoured with some big (ish) names. Silva would be a great signing. My preferred choice would be Fonseca. But silva is who I wanted 7 months ago. So I would be very happy with him. Who ever it is: let's GET BEHIND HIM AND let's GET BACK TO THE TOP WHERE WE BELONG! Could be the last few seasons in goodison park, let's make it shake!

3.) 16 May 2018 13:26:22
I think you hit the nail on the head EFC. SA was the manager needed at the time to stabilize the team and stave of relegation fears. No, it was not pretty, but it worked.

To progress the club's aspirations and achieve European football and hunt silverware will take a whole new management team and front office. This is happening.

1. Thank you Big Sam, Little Sam, and company for helping the club. I wish you fellows well.

2. Let us name a DOF and manager soon so we can plan for next season and make proper targeted acquisitions.

3. And get behind whomever Mr. Mo hires and support the club.

4.) 16 May 2018 13:35:42
I thought out of them all Sammy Lee at least tried to get the players moving forward and gave his best shot, cannot fault his enthusiasm or determination so on that I hope Little Sam all the best in his future.

5.) 16 May 2018 14:37:52
It's a shame they never announced it earlier, to get rid of the negative atmosphere. I would of stayed past the final whistle to give the 2 Sams a clap and good send off. Sam did the job asked of him.
Now we need to start a new project and hope it's more successful this time.

10 May 2018 20:46:15
Phil McNulty don't know how reliable but has stated that Brands and a new CEO are on there way into the club with Sam's future in the balance apparently lots going on behind the scenes at the club like I said don't know how reliable.

10 May 2018 13:21:13
Just had a notification on my phone from Sky saying Rooney has agreed to join DC United if true will wish him well . I know he was unsure about his future and the Sam will he or won't he I wonder if he's heard what is happening next season.

1.) 10 May 2018 13:49:20
That's what I'm worried about, I hope this doesn't mean he knows Sam is staying. Think the move makes sense for both parties but you'd think he'd wait a bit longer if he thought a new manager was coming in.

2.) 10 May 2018 13:50:55
any bitter feeling as he leaves again Lee? realised times are tougher than he thought and jumped ship? or genuinely just wants to play football?

3.) 10 May 2018 14:41:29
I think he just wants to play football and knows he will be a bit part player so good luck to him if it's true brands is coming in he wants young pacey players and unfortunately Rooney doesn't fit into that.

4.) 10 May 2018 14:53:43
I think he wants to play football wblue and good on him think he still has something to give on the pitch so I think the MLS will benefit from him being there. We got him back for a season and i'm glad I got to see him in a blue kit again even though it wasn't the Rooney of old once a blue always a blue.

Just seen Gomes' press conference the 'love at first sight line' will adhere him even more so to the fans. And just about the kit actually quite liked it till I saw Gomes wearing it I'm never going to pull it it off and look as good as him so hate it now 🤣🤣.

1.) 04 Jul 2019 16:38:20
Good looking kit lee mate, nice change.

2.) 05 Jul 2019 13:31:50
Exellent press conference and very encouraging, if he talks as well on the pitch next season should help us do quite well.

19 Jun 2019 19:13:27
Gomes signed, Vlasic sold and Baines signs a new 12 month contract not a bad day.

1.) 19 Jun 2019 19:44:00
Great day mate, Zouma next i hope.

2.) 19 Jun 2019 21:38:50
I actually don't think we will get Zouma GB just have a feeling, but would love to be proven wrong, I will let Brands do his thing think he's proving to be our best signing in a while.

3.) 20 Jun 2019 07:46:48
Chelsea would surely not sell him with their transfer ban. Or if they do the price will be stupid high. Especially if United spend the kind of money being reported on Bassaca and McGuire. Wonder if Paul Mersin will accuse them of ruining the transfer market this summer like he did with the Richarlison transfer.

Maybe we could look at the market for a back up to Mina. He had a solid game against Argentina so there’s definitely a good centre back there if we can keep him fit.

11 May 2019 11:19:07
According to Silva's press conference yesterday both Richarlson and Dcl are both missing tmw with Coleman a doubt.
So I'd probably say Tosun upfront and Walcott on the right, that leaves 2 spaces on the bench would love to see a couple of u23 maybe Bowler and even Sambou on the bench.

15 Apr 2019 21:00:22
Congratulations to the u23s what a game Bowler very impressive his forward runs always looked dangerous, and if anyone gets a chance to see it a lovely little back heel flick from Sambou that Bernard would be proud of. Our future is in good hands with Unsworth some real talent hopefully see some in the first team soon.

1.) 15 Apr 2019 23:16:17
Here here. I said it earlier in the season that Bowler should be given a chance in the first team. He looks a top player although I would play him in the siggy role instead.

Gibson also looks very impressive and should definitely be integrated into the squad as a jags replacement next season. He’s very reminiscent of John stones when he broke through but with a bit more maturity when knowing to hoof it up.

All in all with back to back league titles the future is very promising indeed.

Also Bas Samboo is being released so hopefully Simms gets a good go or even a loan next season. The kid looks special ( Rooney, Barkley ) imo.

2.) 15 Apr 2019 23:36:38
Yes congratulations to the lads and expecially David Unsworth doing for a second time, especially as his team is not full of overseas players like some of his rivals true over achievement.
Sir Loin I agree with what you say about giving a chance to Bowler maybe others but I said this the other day and got a lot of abuse for it.
To some on here if Silva does ignore them as he does it is ok as they love him and love being abusive to those that do not agree with them, thay know who they are.

3.) 16 Apr 2019 15:04:30
Well done to the U23s. Hopefully get a few out on loan next season with a view to them stepping up to the first team.

28 Mar 2019 13:45:09
Just a question for all of you out there our kit manufacturers Umbro's deal runs out this summer, not aware of any rumours as to if we are renewing it or changing altogether.
But who would you like to see make our kits next season, I'd like to try Adidas any thoughts?

1.) 28 Mar 2019 18:33:28
Hi mate just been announced apparently, we have signed with Umbro again in a multi year deal.

2.) 28 Mar 2019 22:20:36
What difference does the company make? Surely it is the one that gives us the most money.

3.) 28 Mar 2019 22:37:02
Hey GB hope your well and looking forward to the weekend, just seen this was only having a conversation about kits in work today aswell.
Dark clouds it shouldn't matter but we need a balance of getting a good deal from the manufacturers and a good looking top this seasons is probably up there as one of the best kits we've had.

4.) 28 Mar 2019 22:59:41
Adidas are widely recognised as the best kit maker. Nike the highest profile but largely poor design especially in our experience. Umbro is the oldest I think and that suits us traditionally in my opinion.

It would be difficult to get Adidas as they have pumped most of their budget into Man United to prize them from Nike. So they are reluctant to add large deals expected by Everton to their portfolio.

We will stay with Umbro for at least another season.

5.) 29 Mar 2019 07:23:00
Too right mate catch up at the weekend cheers.

6.) 29 Mar 2019 07:24:24
How about the most suitable, functional and comfortable kit and of course best financial sponsorship deal, our current presence can attract. Looking pretty for me comes way down the list. How many people do you see down the gym, colour coordinated down to trainers and produce zip.

7.) 29 Mar 2019 17:23:23
I would like to see Carlsberg on our shirts. ahhhh if only Carlsberg ran Everton :-)

8.) 30 Mar 2019 14:53:41
Everton should sign with Under Armour, we could be their biggest in the prem since Spurs left to go to Nike.

9.) 30 Mar 2019 16:16:06
Under Armour are the worst kit supplier ever. Spurs left them due to unfulfilled orders, which is very common with the UA brand. We will do well to steer clear of that brand.

10.) 30 Mar 2019 17:03:15
I never knew about that, i assumed they would be ok as they seem to be growing in US sports.

11.) 30 Mar 2019 20:38:53
They are an outstanding brand but have a reputation for not delivering on promised supply. They have for a few years got the Wales rugby shirt under supplied.

Having said that, they have an excellent reputation in the states and the quality of product is hard to ague with.

£8m to sit on our bench instead of City's, weird signing I've got faith in what Silva and Brands are doing will of course divide some fans.

As long as we get a striker in Kingo, think that one is essential and then Riquelme.

Plenty of reports GB, will just sit back and let Brands do his thing and wait to see who we see in the Blue Jersey signing that contract.

It's a force of habit at this time of the year isn't it Big C, here I am sat on my break in work checking the internet after I've checked it this morning, and no doubt will check again when I finish at midnight. Think I'm just happy we have Brands who has everything under control, though it is hard not to get excited about some of the names being mentioned, roll on transfer deadline day.

Definitely one to watch out for ed001, hope someone takes a chance on him and develops him to the player resembling Keita, bet we see him in the premiership in a few years.

{Ed001's Note - I certainly wouldn't be surprised if he made the step up soon. Probably even make a move this summer.}
