Pay 50 mill and get this over the line and move on to a striker and centre back, which we need, both EFC and Swans just being like kids now, peeing off Everton fans now COYB.

i am starting to see paul clement' comment on it won't go right to the last day as a mino moment, when he said his 999.9 or whatever he said surely it is swans intent to hang on to the player until the last day . that is probs what was meant when they said they won't be bullied a few weeks ago if you have to lose a player who wants to go but you don't want to sell then ask way too much and then leave it to the last day of the window then you don't have to spend the money on replacements. i don't think this is about price anymore and it can't be as reported down to efc it is about swans losing the player on their terms completely and utterly in every way and when they say. albeit we are stupid for being so focused on this one deal and to have no alternates. its a typical efc transfer fiasco.

News now reporting, total crap ppl, Sigy deal will be done shortly, stop being lemmings and jumping off the cliff, calm down and be BLUE.

Green Howard

1.) 31 Jul 2017 20:20:00
Well said Sir!

2.) 31 Jul 2017 20:20:07
I wouldn't worry Mr Howard. I don't think we are going to gather in a line and walk off a cliff. It's not that dramatic.

3.) 31 Jul 2017 20:23:56
This deal will happen. too much time effort and public ego have happend for it not too. Only my opinion but I think Everton must have approached the swans with a list of young players that will make the deal possible, knowing what positions the swans need cover for. Let's just get the deal signed so both clubs can move on and the poor journalism can stop!

4.) 31 Jul 2017 22:41:53
The same news outlet now saying he’s leaving according to Leon Britton. Total guff as usual.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely ace..

5.) 01 Aug 2017 18:32:38
Outlets like NewsNow merely collect and repeat stories from other media sources. Very few media outlets have original stories based on their own journalistic research and very few verify the stories they repeat.

In fact, NewsNow always cites the source (newspaper or a website) from which the story's been lifted.
Other websites usually refer to reports in named media outlets when presenting stories. They don't claim them as their own.
Just because a story appears in many places doesn't make it any more or less true - it just shows how these websites quickly gather other reports and repeat them.
It's all click-bait that generates the user-hits that justify the advertising revenue they want.

A transfer will be true when its officially announced by the clubs concerned. Anything else is the media whipping up fans' interest to get exposure and thereby get subscriptions, advertising revenue, etc.
How many fans check Sky, NewsNow, etc., throughout the day? It's an addiction for us!

Heard a snippet today from a guy who is a chef at goodison, cheeky bid of 40 mill for Mahrez.

Green Howard

1.) 15 Jul 2017 20:48:26
Not saying you never heard it or that he isn't a chef in the kitchen but I question why we are holding transfer update meetings in the kitchens of goodison.

In terms of the overall rumour, if he could get back his form I would love it to be true but he seemed so disinterested as soon as it stopped going their way. Personally I'd look elsewhere.

2.) 15 Jul 2017 21:35:42
Aren't they only asking for £30m?

3.) 15 Jul 2017 21:36:56
I'd be interested if he had been prolific for more than just one season but he's not been too good since so not for me. Siggurdson has done it for the last few seasons so is a better signing for me.

4.) 15 Jul 2017 21:38:22
If Mahrez was a top target, he'd be through the door already. Sigurdsson is clearly our top target for an attacking midfielder. I'd be concerned about his attitude. We've only just gotten rid of one sulky teenager!

5.) 15 Jul 2017 23:13:28
How was it cheeky? Did they put the phone down without saying goodbye?

6.) 16 Jul 2017 08:26:41
Why would mahrez want to come to Everton? Hardly a step up.

{Ed025's Note - you need to stop the trolling now caustic...if you have nothing nice or constructive to say then keep it buttoned, if it was witty or something i would not be bothered but you just seem a bit toxic mate..

7.) 16 Jul 2017 09:13:04
Well said Ed, little boys should stick to playing with their little toy soldiers and leave the big boy football talk to the men.

Great result last night, very impressed, especially Coleman and Walcott, not seen our team with so much passion, as for Mangalla, don't know much of him, find out against the Arse hopefully, who, are leaking goals, 2 up front hopefully, and good luck to Lookman COYB.

Green Howard

1.) 01 Feb 2018 19:16:18
Same as that mate those two were excellent, thank goodness Seamus is back and playing well.

2.) 01 Feb 2018 20:00:11
Just shows you what some speed in the team does for you. Coleman and Walcott have pace to burn and everything of value went up our right hand side. Just don't understand why Lookman was not given a chance on the left.

3.) 01 Feb 2018 20:49:14
Can't help thinking that Lookman's main problem might just come down to immaturity. He does seem an emotional, sensitive sort, with his reported homesickness and his gravitation towards Rom as a big brother figure. he's fairly close in age to Tom Davies and he seems much more level headed if we were to compare. Now that Rom has gone, and with his lack of game time, maybe the poor kid is just a bit lonely and insecure, which might be very clear in training, which would put him at odds with big Sam, hence his recent public description of his stubbornness. I feel sorry for the lad for his lack of opportunity with us, but I've come round to thinking that he's just not ready yet. He should have a good experience at Leipzig and may come back a bit more emotionally intelligent, professional and mentally prepared to rip up defenses and cover defensive duties for us. Until then, enjoy the bratwurst, Ademola!

4.) 02 Feb 2018 01:53:24
and if things don't go that well, he might come back with a better attitude, ie one where he starts to listern to those with more experience. Just a bit to easy to put the blame at sams door if the kid is listening to his agent rather than people with his best interest at heart.

5.) 02 Feb 2018 06:43:28
I thought Allardyce's public criticism of Lookman was disgraceful. Those criticising Lookman's attitude here do so without evidence. The only thing that we, the fans, have to go on is his honest effort and encouraging contributions from the bench. To criticise his attitude on the basis of that is poor to say the least.

6.) 02 Feb 2018 11:53:45
I wouldn't class as public criticism he merely said he thought the better option was a loan at Derby but the lad dug in and insisted on Leipzig, it is often said that players should get European experience but this lad needs game time in the English league to improve his game, and even though Leipzig are a top Bundeslige club the reality is championship football will possibly get him more accustomed to the Premier!

7.) 02 Feb 2018 12:42:11
To call some stubborn is not criticising them?

8.) 02 Feb 2018 13:19:52
No I wouldn't, he perhaps could have said the lad was headstrong but its not really a criticism.

9.) 02 Feb 2018 13:36:02
Stubborn was the word reported. When was the last time you were called stubborn and felt complimented?

10.) 02 Feb 2018 13:48:45
Actually I have!
having or showing dogged determination not to change one's attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good reasons to do so.

29 Jan 2018 18:11:01
There is def something going down at Everton, and we are very clever at keeping secrets, we do need a change in players and Tactics, but ey who am i on my £1500 a month, just another lowly supporter amongst thousands COYB.

25 Jan 2018 19:09:38
Been a Blue for 60 years and considering the state of our club at the moment i am dis-apointed in the lack of urgency in sorting our current problems, ie defence, do understand we have to offload, which we have, going to be a nervy last week, starting Sat against the Arse, y am i and many Evertonians not looking forward to it, in Sam we trust COYB.

Green Howard

1.) 25 Jan 2018 20:55:00
We need to start against Leicester next Wednesday not Arsenal next sat GH that's a definite 3 points we need before we take on Arsenal.

2.) 26 Jan 2018 10:04:20
yeah news flash we don't play arsenal until next Saturday chief xD.

24 Jan 2018 18:42:22
Are we in the market for anyone at all or is that it, even the rumours have dried up, won't be impressed if we don't sign at least a LB.

Green Howard

{Ed025's Note - nothing is certain GH but we are still looking to bring in at least a defender, it has to be the right one though mate as panic buys are why we are in this state at the moment..

1.) 24 Jan 2018 19:58:10
A panic buy is better than we have at the mo Ed, we can't continue with what we have, i won't slag individuals off, but, players out of position, ageing players not fit, injurys, if the fans see it, surely management must, is it time to throw daft money around for a player/ s who are available, ey who am i, just one of many thousands fanatic Blue fans mate.

{Ed025's Note - i know what you mean mate but just buying random players wont help either..

2.) 24 Jan 2018 23:25:01
Maybe the reason that we are not going for a left back is that the management have been impressed with what they’ve seen from Garbutt in training?

23 Jan 2018 19:45:47
Ok so lennon gone now, Sam said no more in, s, can we expect any Ed.

Green Howard

{Ed025's Note - they are looking for a LB green howard, if we can get the right guy then a deal will be done mate..

1.) 24 Jan 2018 14:11:00
I would register Luke Garbutt, played well last night, a couple of overhit balls but understandable with that wind last night, looked good going forward and also at defending.

After watching last nights game I would also put Beningame in place of Schnids, great ball winner and great at playing the lay off.
