No one has mentioned Pickfords mistake on Saturday on here. Why does he get a free pass time and time again. That's his 5th mistake leading to a goal this season already. What's that 1 mistake every 3 matches that's not good enough but us fans seem to forget about his mistakes I don't know why as he is part of the problem at the min has been since 2017.Is there another keeper out there who has made more mistakes than him since 2017 I think not.

He doesn't get a free pass CB, it was an absolute howler granted, it looked easier to catch the ball rather than to do what he did?
The thing is that he is still a great keeper and we wouldn’t have racked up half of the points we have got if it wasn’t for him, he’s kept us in games this season, more times than the 5 (I don’t recall these by the way) mistakes you say he has made.

Conversely Cheshire he has also made numerous world class saves that majority of keepers may not have.

Think most fans are fed up of the poor performances across the whole of the pitch and are glad of the break from the blame game as all players are to blame not just the ones making mistakes.

Let’s hope we see better performances after the World Cup and frank giving some of the youngsters a run out.

GKs make mistakes and they're high profile. He also made some stunning saves to keep the score from becoming seriously embarrassing.
As I've said countless times. Us having the England nos1 is not our problem. Get of his back. He's been awesome this season.

I think the question should be why are we allowing the opposition the opportunity to get shots on goal . The reason we don’t get shots on goal is because the opposition stop us getting that far or we make a poor pass, it’s a collective failure of the team not just the keepers fault because sometimes catching a swirling ball traveling at an approximate speed of up to 100 mph can be a challenge.
Stop looking for players to pick on, if someone isn’t cutting it then that’s down to FL to drop them. I hope there will be a busy transfer window and the board give Kevin and Frank the money to spend.

I've been highlighting the fact teams are having 20 + shots at our goal on a regular basis. So much for this much improved midfield and back 4. In my humble opinion Gueye is finished and a liability, the number of times he gives the ball away is unreal.

{Ed025's Note - you’re right reg. we can’t play gana and onana in the same team imo. Both slow and while there is room for one of them we also need a creative influence mate..

Spot on Ed. We are getting walk through. I'd much rather play Garner than Onana.

{Ed025's Note - well something has to change reg, we have such a soft centre mate who contribute very little offensively..

Yeh I never understand why the coaches can't see it isn't working, yet its practically the same team week in week out, I think maybe he's pushed so hard to sign Ghana and Onana, he's afraid to drop one of them. But these decisions have to be made for the greater good, he'd be no worse off than he is not, just trying to put one on the bench just to try something different.

Picture the Bonnie and Clyde massacre. That’s our goalkeeper and defence every game.

Ed25 I think we can play Onana and Gueye in the same team but for me both have to sit deep as Gueye isn't 28 anymore and is getting left exposed then let Iwobi have a free role to do what he does but I also wouldn't be against Garnar and Onana starting together.

Pickford is as good as we can get realistically whilst ithers are just shocking in general not must when they make a mistake. i also think he has had more criticism than any other player.
I agree about Onana and Geuye nit playing kn the same midfield. Kmagjne someone like Gallagher in with Iwobi and Onana/ Geuye.

Lloris and Kepa have made more mistakes than him since 2017. Also it’s his 5th mistake leading to a goal this season? Funny because his stats only say 1?.

He only had 1 all last season too.

Some people rated Pickford as crap the moment we signed him and don’t want to look daft saying “okay he’s done well at times” so they invent stats.

People love Tarkowski right? Well he’s made 14 individual errors leading to goals this season. Just decided he has.

Not sure what stats you're looking at that say 1 Swan but that seems very generous!
Bournemouth one obviously, the Spurs first was a howler. Saints goal went under him, forest goal palmed a routine save right to into danger zone to their forward. They're the ones that spring to mind.
That being said, he's also made some great saves. And the fact that we create sod all chances at the other end is also a significant concern!

No one is making these stats up they are there if you would just take the blindfold off you will see it too yes he makes some great saves no doubt but that’s 5 errors this season that have lead to goals that’s too many.

If you have 50 shots at you in a game your bound to drop one, law of averages. Reduce the amount of shots allowed, and the average will come down. Simples.

What a waste of space this post is. Are we really saying Pickford is our problem? He has created more chances than most of our midfield with 1.

Splitting hairs brass but presume you mean the total number would come down rather than the average ?.
