Got to say, as they were leaving the ground and being interviewed by Sky reporter. Both Moshiri and Bill looked totally deflated. I know you will say they should be and I agree.
The worrying thing is though neither looked like they had a plan in place to sort this out. It was almost like they had given up.
My point being, if they've given up what chance do we have? All the support in the world won't change this.
For the first time in sixty years I am genuinely worried about my club. Not just because of the fear of relegation, but the fear that we will become a "once wnere", and end up like the Sheffield Wednesdays of this world.

Now to be fair he was caught on the hop and looked like if it weren't for the sky sports camera, his goons would have slapped the poo out of the reporter. Hope it was just a stuttering answer and he had had a few too many gins in the players lounge. Not a good look. Everyone saying we need strikers, we don't. We need a bloody midfield that can create and score goals. We need wingers who can beat their man and cross a ball.
If you don't get this sorted then it won't matter who you have up front, they still won't score with no service.
Think about it we have, Gana to slow and can't pass. Iwobi runs around a lot can't tackle, can't pass. Onana can tackle, likes to run with the ball, but has a limited passing range. Dacoure runs around a lot but can't pass.
As for Gray, McNeil and Gordon. Can't beat a man and can't cross a ball.
Is it any wonder we don't score any goals with this lot running the show.
A start would be a creative midfielder and a winger who can beat the defender and cross the ball.
Don't waste what little money we have on a striker. He won't get any service.

I disagree HT. a lot of teams are able to push up and dominate games against us because we have no real goal threat/ presence up front. Sort that out and it changes the oppositions approach, maybe even just enough to create space in the midfield for someone to do something… but I agree that we lack creativity also.

Both points are valid, 3rd point you can't be hit if you're in their face. In any case, we could have the best set of players but with this bloke Teams would still get at us, he has no tactical nounce and believes in leaving the Teams fitness on the training pitch. Exception is Iwobi, he apoears to understand. FL was not a brilliant player but he was very fit and practised the basics over and over. I read the article on Mendy, that pampering applies to some extent at most top Clubs. The game is a mess.

Totally agree about the wingers. Haaland and prime Fat Ronaldo would struggle to score in this side. Teams know we aren’t a threat from wide areas because neither the full backs nor the wingers ever put a decent cross in. Half the time they don’t even try, they turn and pass back.

The team is atrocious at the moment absolutely atrocious. Thing is they are better than the have played pretty much all season. Got no momentum going. Only downward momentum. Be a different manager or more to the point coach that would get more out of them.
Not sticking up for Frank as a player but he was a top midfielder. Not many would say otherwise. Take the point that he worked hard. So does the very best like Ronaldo did etc. Thing is Frank consistently scored up on 20 goals a season as a midfielder. How many have ever done that? That's talent. Not even the red G or any other midfielder at his time scored more consistently. Can't take that away from him, that's fact.

Was out in London for a meal last night with a few lads I used to work with. Three are Hammers fans and one is a very happy Arsenal fan.
Anyway all three are praying we take Moyes back. They feel his tactics are having a negative effect on their more creative players. I said well that's fine as we have no creative players.
The other lad was full of praise for Arteta, even though as I pointed out the supporters initially wanted him gone. Lad couldn't understand why we didn't try and get him, seeing as he was only in Manchester.
To which I replied, just got to go the toilet I suddenly feel sick.

Arteta plays football the modern way. Everyone laughed at him because at the start Arsenal kept losing the ball and conceded goals. Everyone said Arsenal don’t have the players to play the passing game and he needs to change it or get sacked. Arteta stuck to his principles and fast forward 2 years his team are to of the league playing possession attacking football the modern game. Moyles is a dinosaur football has moved on his tactics don’t work anymore. We need someone like Arteta someone who knows the game now. No Hoof ball or Hoof ball managers please. we should have had this in place years ago but we messed up.

Explain modern football to me please! In my day I played football for Teams all over the World, some quite good, some rubbish but we all played the same way, get the ball, hold onto it, put it in the oppositions net, when you haven't got it get it back. Don't bitch and moan when substituted, may be tactics, may be you're playing crap, if the latter, get a grip and make sure, the only reason is tactics in future.

Arteta would not have lasted 5 mins. here because a difficult settling in period at Everton means flirting with relegation whereas
with the Gunners it simply means 'Oh gosh damn it this means no CL footy next season'
I say hat's off though for persevering with him, I am not sure CFC Utd LFC Man City or Spurs would have done that.

Well DFS you get about 15-20 mates, about 5 balls, a set of goal posts, a second hand kit, a piece of land to play on, and look for a league to join. You do well but things start getting in the way like money, employment, taxes. So you ask a bunch of guys to look after these things for you. They create a board, employ a manager and coaches, start interfering and there you have it "modern day football". Currently being demonstrated by us!

To say he has to get the players fit is a bit misleading. These players are already fit, there just not trying. We need a hard nose like Bielsa to push these lazy buggers, and make them work as a unit.
Don’t get him in and we could be missing out on one of the most admired coaches in world football.
