Hi Eds,

What is the current situation with Michy Bat from Chelsea.

Would Chelsea be open to selling him and would Michy be up for a move. He has barely kicked a ball and it is a WC year?

{Ed002's Note - There is no situation and Chelsea are not looking to sell. He has not been in the squad recently due to injury.}

1.) 05 Dec 2017 15:42:24
Cheers mate. I think he is wasting himself on their bench. Deserves to lead the line for a club, be that European level or not.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea only has two strikers and are looking to add one - not lose one.}

04 Dec 2017 16:41:01
Hi Eds,

Just read (probably a shite rumour) that we are interested in Richarlison.

Do you know which clubs are interested in him and what price Watford would be looking for, before they let him go?

{Ed002's Note - Richarlison was attracting the attention of Roma, Napol, Chelsea, Milan and Ajax before Watford grabbed him in the summer. Since then both Spurs and two Chinese clubs have shown an interest although his new agent insits any change would be to a champions league club. I am not aware of any approach by Everton at this time.}

1.) 04 Dec 2017 18:22:27
Thanks for the insight Ed.

{Ed002's Note - I can tell you Watford are miffed about this and see it as disruptive.}

16 Nov 2017 11:38:04
Fabio Capello has come out and said he wants the Everton job. Its a club I have always followed ever since a young boy.

"I feel i can attract a striker to the club that can propel us to the top half of the table. Some of the best strikers to play the game have graced the Goodison turf. Particular favourites of mine being Mikel Madar and Denis Stracqualursi. If i get the opportunity to manage this great club, i will take it with both hands. I'd do anything for this club and anything for these fans".

1.) 16 Nov 2017 13:08:59
I like the fact someone has taken this seriously and given a thumbs down πŸ˜‚.

2.) 16 Nov 2017 14:15:07
source :) :) :)

i am only joking.

3.) 16 Nov 2017 15:14:12
Hahah gibboEFC. Some people on here never cease to amaze mate.

Dixie Normus - i was in Monfalcone at the weekend. Visiting a friend and bumped into him in a local pub . Honest!

4.) 16 Nov 2017 15:35:51
gave it a thumbs down as it wasn't funny, 2/ 10.

5.) 16 Nov 2017 18:53:32
Things are quite serious within the club at this moment in time and certain people are taking the pss just about sums us up at the moment.

6.) 16 Nov 2017 19:51:36
Things are serious indeed but doesn't mean people can’t have fun.

7.) 16 Nov 2017 22:21:21
Its the first time i have posted on any of the current matters.

And our club has been serious for more than this season, its been going on for 20 years mate. To the point where i'm fed up of being down hearted or angry about it.

Better to try and look on the bright side of things instead of posting morbid, mind numbing posts like the above.

I bet you two are in the booing brigade which has f***** this club up a lot more than a harmless post on a club forum.

Get a grip.

8.) 17 Nov 2017 09:32:36
Still wasn't funny.

9.) 17 Nov 2017 10:00:59
Feel sorry for your bird wblue. Poor lass.

Plenty of things i don't find funny or agree with on here, but i would rather just scroll down than actively hit a dislike button.

10.) 17 Nov 2017 12:54:47
ouch i'm hurt!

11.) 18 Nov 2017 10:25:28
Jmw1878 i have never booed any efc team of the pitch or thrown cushions from the top balcony which has been my home for the last 15 years so before you maje assumptions if people gets your facts

19 Aug 2017 20:21:34
Eds who are the strikers we are being linked with at the minute?

And who do you know that is available that we could "realistically" get.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of anything new. Interest in Willian Jose, Frederico Santander, Duvan Zapata, has gone. Chris Wood is likely to head to Burnley and Kalinic to Milan. Teodorczyk has gone to Anderlecht and Bacca to Villareal (which may free up CΓ©dric Bakambu). Moussa Dembele is, like Oliver Giroud, not keen on a move to Everton.}

1.) 19 Aug 2017 21:04:46
Thanks for the info ed. it's going to be hard to get a striker in now everyone knows we are after one and will make us pay as Everton would do to any other club. But I do think we will get one in before the window shuts. I'd maybe try and get Vincent jannssen from spurs I know he has done much at spurs but he chose the wrong move was never going to be first choice over Kane and son is a different type of player in his position so he would always be third choice. I do think he offers what koeman is looking for but I think we could end up with benteke.

{Ed002's Note - Sandro and Rooney have arrived.}

2.) 19 Aug 2017 21:31:41
Cheers for the detailed info Ed.

Koeman has come out and said he still wants a no.9. We have sold Kone, Valencia loan ended and lost Rom, so we are technically still 1 striker down. Add to that, the added European games (depending on next week) .

I can't think of anyone i would want, that we can realistically get other than Vardy, but i think it would be too late in the window to get a deal done now.

Cheers again mate.

3.) 19 Aug 2017 21:57:34
I think we should outbid Burnley for Woods as he is the best round a much better bet than Sandro who is a good prospect and no more.

4.) 19 Aug 2017 22:46:02
Think we missed out on a gem for the price last yet gabbiadini looks a decent player the few times I have see. Him.

5.) 19 Aug 2017 23:19:00
Milomj - Comparing Sandro to Woods is ridiculous. Implying that Woods is better, is even worse.

6.) 20 Aug 2017 00:25:07
Can't believe we haven't gone all out for Kasper Dolberg. The kid is just ridiculous. Ed, please tell me there is a chance this one might happen last minute?

{Ed002's Note - He wants Real Madrid.}

7.) 19 Aug 2017 23:33:55
Bakumbu could be good shout hasn't he just signed new contract ed 2.

{Ed002's Note - He has. It was to raise his release clause.}

8.) 20 Aug 2017 09:32:00
Hopefully we get bakambu. awesome player.

9.) 19 Aug 2017 21:15:32
What about the defenders you have mentioned ed. would you have time to do the same? Cheers mate.

{Ed002's Note - I may have forgotten one or two Joe:
Niklas Sule (CB) – An enquiry was made in January – was never going to happen – moved to Bayern Munich
Adam Webster (CB) – Koeman very keen but player wants to stay at Ipswich until he knows he can get in to the first team elsewhere
Sead Kolasinac (LB) – Was looking for a pre-contract in January and it dragged on as his move to Milan fell through – went to Arsenal
Michael Keane (CB) – Joined Everton
Presnel Kimpembe (CB) – An enquiry was made but there was pretty much zero chance the he would be sold, and quite frankly there are far more attractive clubs than Everton who are interested
Ben Gibson (CB) – Will move before the end of the window – lots of interest in him still, but Everton decided on Keane instead
Sebastian Rudy (DM) - Enquiries have been made about his availability on loan after moving to Munich, but nothing will come of it
Steven Sessegnon (FB/CB/DM) – Too early and disruptive to move at his age as he is still a child – I suspect Everton and others will continue to watch him
Josh Tymon (LB) – Moved to Stoke City
Jairo Riedewald (CB) – Crystal Palace took the player with Ajax telling Everton that they should have made an earlier offer once their interest was known
Ruben Semedo (CB) – The player saw Sporting to be a more attractive option to a number of English sides who were keen – including Everton
Yugo Nagatomo (LB) – Could yet move this window after Inter Milan purchased Dalbert – would be an astute buy but interest just seems to have drifted away
Lamine Kone (CB) – Interest went after failing to land him last summer and in January – probably a good thing

10.) 20 Aug 2017 12:34:39
Thanks for info ed.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}

14 Aug 2017 12:59:34
Hi Eds,

What is likely to happen with Lookman.

Will he stay or go out on loan do you think?

I would personally prefer him to play over DCL, on the wing.

DCL is more effective through the middle IMO.

{Ed001's Note - last I heard the plan was to loan him out.}

1.) 14 Aug 2017 14:06:47
Part of me feels it would be a shame but another part can see the logic to send him to a team where he will get a lot of game time, would insert a recall clause.

2.) 14 Aug 2017 14:41:03
This is going to be and was always going to be the problem with bringing in virtually a whole new first Team in this Window. How do you meld them all together. Thankfully I am not the one being paid big bucks and can whinge and moan from the sidelines in the knowledge it is never going to be my responsibility.

3.) 14 Aug 2017 14:53:07
I personally think that if we get our targets in by the end of the month he will go out on loan. I just hope then that one of the targets has his pace or we will miss him.

4.) 14 Aug 2017 19:29:20
Unless we've got someone lined up to come in with his pace I'd definitely keep him. Play him against teams in the bottom half from the start and bring him on after 60 minutes against top half. Looks a real threat to me but agree he's not ready to start 38 league games yet.

I wonder if people who had already written off Sig as a signing/ player, be that from this fanbase or others may start to realise what they once thought was utter bollocks.

The lad didn't have a pre-season and didn't start his season till, gone a month after everyone else.

He was played out of position in a struggling side with no purpose or direction.

Hes now being utilised like he should be and his form has now improved. 2 goals and 2 assists in 4 games.

Hes a great player and now we are going to see the best out of him under Sam. That 45 mill will look a steal.

1.) 03 Dec 2017 09:13:36
I 'll judge him next Sunday he cost 40 million needs to turn up in huge games.

2.) 03 Dec 2017 09:55:33
Scored two and set up two in the last four games i think. Always rated him. Knew he would come good.

3.) 03 Dec 2017 10:04:07
Way to go Irish. Don't take into account any other performances. Just this one next week. If he doesn't score 5 goals against the red lot then he must be rubbish.

4.) 03 Dec 2017 12:36:31
I was saying we should expect good things from him with that price he s one of or better players and we need him in the big games big players perform in big games he has shown some good signs if we have any chance we need him to be at he s best in the games that we are underdogs.

28 Nov 2017 23:31:56
Not particularly arsed about Big Sam coming. Its the type of man we need to ensure we don't go down.

What I am more upset about is that, that rat Sammy Lee, will be in the dugout as well.

02 Nov 2017 11:21:36
All i keep reading in the rags is that we should be going for a "big name" and we are taking a step back by going after Dyche.

Yes, he may not be the most glamorous of names, but is that what we need atm . i don't think so.

At least Dyche will have us competing in games, if Burnley are anything to go by, we will be organised and graft our bollocks off.

I don't know about everyone else, but i'm done with this modern, half-arsed approach to matches. I want some passion and hard work back, players working for each other and for the fans and i think Dyche will be able to bring that.

Get the basics right and then go from there. he's young and fresh and the work he's done at Burnley with the resources he's had is outstanding.

I honestly don't give a sh** who we get, as long as some passion is instilled back in this team and club. There is no connection between the players and the fans anymore, Goodison used to be a bear pit because the crowd would react to the effort and desire the players would show on the pitch, if we can get that back in this modern age of football, then i will be happy.

Up the toffees.

1.) 02 Nov 2017 11:48:20
hes took burnley down and finished 16th last year?

eddie howe has undoubtedly worked more of a miracle for Bournemouth and finished 9th last year, is a blue so obviously be passionate about the cause? why aren't you mentioning him? oh I know because his Bournemouth side are lower than even us! dyche is doing well for two months and that's it should be nowhere near everton manager!

2.) 02 Nov 2017 12:16:42
So wdlue we've sacked Kooman and you want to replace him with a manager that has never had a team finish above one of his and is currently below us in the table. Classic!

3.) 02 Nov 2017 12:29:25
Sad day for Everton FC when they went Eddie Howe to get the job πŸ˜‚ he's spent a fortune at Bournemouth are they're still the joint worst team in the league! Ibe, Mings, Afobe, Ake, Defoe, Wilshere and Begovic have cost that club a fortune in transfer fee's and wages.

Dyche is an infinitely better manager who has done a better job at Burnley with peanuts to spend.

4.) 02 Nov 2017 12:58:57
Sacking RK was a mistake.

5.) 02 Nov 2017 14:11:29
Lets face it who had heard of Pochitino before he went to southampton.

01 Oct 2017 20:19:29
Im going to get battered for this, but realistically, we aren't going to be able to target the top top managers.

If Koeman has to go and we can't get a replacement I would give it Unsworth an see how he gets on.

Failing that someone who knows football inside out in England. Glenn Hoddle. Just to make sure we don't get sucked into a relly battle (not that i think that is likely) .

1.) 02 Oct 2017 11:00:02
oh Christ tonight glenn hoddle, seen it all now. give it unsworth for a month, tell the media we are looking for a replacement, see how unsy gets on. like lcfc have done with Shakespeare. if unsy not working out we step up search but seriously glenn F****** hoddle, let's get steve McLaren and tony adams in whilst we're there as they 'know the English game'

16 Aug 2017 23:48:19
Ed025 you said we will move further down the list till we get our man.

Do you know any names on that list mate or can you not divulge.

{Ed025's Note - im not privvy to that information im afraid JMW but i do know thats how it works, cost and availability will be the 2 main criteria and with it being relatively late in the window clubs will not want to lose players so it will not be easy or cheap mate..

Everyone moaning about Pulis, Allardyce, O'Neill need to realise that we aren't going to be able to attract a high end manager with the state the club is now.

At least one of the three above won't take any bollocks an will have the players (like they have with all their teams) giving 110% effort, running their bollocks off for the club and the fans.

Can it get any worse than what we are watching now. Simple answer is no, it cant.
