That's it I've had the game on for 25 minutes and it's getting turned off I can't watch it with no crowd it's terrible and what's with the break for a drink? It's not that hot we don't see it in warmer countries or during the world cup . it's pathetic don't think I will bother from now on.

Well said Skylark, I agree all the way.

There's definitely something missing but better than nothing? Not looking forward to next season like this.

Something missing? It's a spectator sport and it looks pathetic the way it is at the moment I won't be bothering and it's a shame these super sports millionaires need a drink after 20 minutes my god I'm fitter than that and I'm nearly 60 😂😂😂.

I've said this before it's like watching a practice game. We defended well and could have won this game but our ball possession is terrible. Every time that we get the ball we give it away cheaply. Iwobi is just terrible and unfortunately Gordon didn't do much. We need Richarlison on the left wing and a new right winger soon.

Listen we just got a point against the champions elect, an I know let's put 40,000 people in a giant box while there is a C.V. going on just so we can listen to a live crowd while watching the games.

Wasn’t the best match by any stretch of the imagination - but I’m happy we didn’t get battered 5-2 or lose in the last minute so I’ll take a point against the champions elect.

The game clearly highlighted deficiencies within the team - we are crying out for a creative midfielder, the service DCL and Richarlison has was pretty much non-existent.

Maybe being too critical as is only first game back after the break but for me Iwobi offers very little Bernard in his small cameo looked a lot livelier., Keane wasn’t really tested but when he was he didn’t look convincing. Tom didn’t show why he should start.

Think a new centre back and a creative midfielder a must in the summer.

Will also be interesting to see what we do at right back - Coleman did well but wasn’t really tested and can’t see him being our starter next year.

What a bunch of miserable gits.
No one will argue that empty stadiums is good obviously but. i'm buzzing to have football back.
And what a nightmare fixture to welcome us back. All week being written off and even wondering myself if we will get a serious pasting.

There squad is just better than ours. 25 points clear with the title in touching distance.

THOUGHT Coleman got off to a wobbly start but he went on to be MOTM.
The Italian has clearly transformed our organisation out of possession. At no point did I feel stress or panic watching. Sure I'd like more entertainment but technically we were outstanding.

Some amazing tackles and even the obligatory ref Dean trying to throw in a few favours for LFC, we dealt with it. We didn't hoof it and we didn't play with 2 static banks of 4. It was a defensive masterclass as far as I can see. 4 years now I've watched every minute and that is the most together I've seen us. Felt solid and didn't look like we were going to make any silly Everton mistakes. Think a corner has been turned with Carlos coaching. 1st time he's really had a good chunk of time with the players.

2 or 3 times Tom D played backwards but he was tenacious and probably best he's played in a while too. We should have won it.

It sounds like it'll just be me tuning in to see us spank Norwich then. Optimistic now for these last 8 games.

I'm baffled by how negative some of our fans are first game back after 3 months against the best side in the league and your moaning I agree with toffee apple tactical masterclass by ancelotti absolutely spot on from a defensive side and then against a team like Liverpool you hope to get 1 or 2 big chances and take 1 well we did get two big chances and on another day we would of won as for Davies I have always been a massive fan of his and playing without fans will benefit him as since Barkley left he's the new scapegoat something that embarrases me about our fans is how quick they turn on the local lad who is doing what we can only dream off me I can't wait til 6pm Wed just as I get into work I can settle down cup of tea and watch the match UTFT.

Absolutely agree toffee apple. We are by no means the finished article and do need some creative force in midfield . However this was an Italian defensive masterclass. Apart from the frees don't remember Pickford having to make a save. Thought Davies played well and only for a brilliant block by Gomez he would have won it for us.

Toffeeapple spot on made up with that solid at the back and didn't look like we was in any sort of trouble carlo getting the best out of what he has . Creative/ attacking midfielder is a must and keane i think isn't good enough holgate was class richarlison put 110% overall would off took tha result all day carlo masterclass.

Son in Law an avid Red, put it right. He said Liverpool would beat us 3 or 4 nil but the huge percentage in our favour of getting a result may be the absence of the toxic home crowd egging us on to get forward. Worked out exactly as he forecast. Without the supporters (us) urging the Team out of defence up field, our desciplined defence held and enabled our counter attacking to have the more solid chances.
