I think so too Ed. I think Armstrong is going to be a massive player for us this season too and with Jimmy in midfield this is the strongest we have been for a while.

I know we've been bad going forward but to think that last time we scored a hat trick I was in my 20s is mad.

Only Everton 😂. Thought the first half we looked good, but yet again we should have been 2 or 3 up before they scored.

2 games in a row I've actually enjoyed watching Everton, I can't believe it.

But what I also cannot believe is Michael Keane is employed at EFC still. What he does to our team anytime he steps foot on the pitch is mind boggling. You can guarantee we concede and you can guarantee he is at the centre of it.

Standard Everton. Play well, miss loads of chances, concede late on.

At least we made chances and played well, so annoying to let that goal in when we should have had another 2 or 3.

I don't think people should be feeling overly negative after that performance. Stuttgart are a top quality side. I appreciate that we didn't play particularly well for large parts of the game, especially the second half, but I did see some encouraging signs: JB getting through a large chunk of the game, Röhl looked very good, Dibling looked good whilst he was on.

Charly was really energetic. Team looks fit too. I know there were a whole heap of negatives too, which I don't need to list but there are some good signs too.
