What are peoples thoughts on Arnautovic? (Of course bearing in mind our circumstances) .

Absolutely not for me.
He’s the wrong sort of character, always seems to have a poor attitude - we’ve already got enough of them.
Nothing I’ve seen of him suggests he’s the ideal striker to get us out of our relegation fight.

Yes GD, i remember his character being called into question a few times over the years. Caught me by surprise the other day but i saw an article where Mark Noble talked about him from their time at WH and he only said good things about him.

I actually rate him as a player though, i think he's got great talent and has a nasty streak about him.

I can't think of many strikers that will get us out of it mate that have a realistic chance of coming to us anyway.

I just hope we get a manager in asap and then we will have to pray for a deadline day reminiscent of Rom, Gaz Baz and McCarthy.

We are well and truly up sh** creek mate.

You get the odd player that is still very effective in the later stages of their career, Giroud, ibrahimovic etc. but I don’t feel this is the right deal for the club. We should absolutely not be spending money we don’t have on a 33 year old “striker”.

He'll do for me. don't know what people expect when we have £7.50 to spend on a striker. He's miles better than sicknote Calvert lewin and doesn't carry a handbag.

He would want a big wage, has form for causing trouble behind the scenes and is the wrong side of 30. Can't see this happening or working, rather swerve it myself. But, as someone mentioned above, we are desperate for bodies right now so it wouldn't surprise me if we did move for him.

Not my favourite player, but he is capable of creating his own magic, which given that no one else will be creating it for him may make him ideal for us right now.
