Some posters on here bash me for putting negative things, say I'm part of the embarrassing fans, suspect I'm a red (hahaha) but are ghosts in anything positive I put. Those posters moan about negativity but focus only on either negative posts or negative points on a positive post. why do that?

Rumour and banter sight mate disagreements are bound to happen. I don't worry about it, its just someone else opinion. I occasionally get annoyed when posters spout opinion as fact and are not prepared to acknowledge another point of view buts that's my fault for rising to the bait.

I'm a more positive person and a glass half full type of veiw of things. It doesn't make me right and sometimes it clouds my judgement of things.

Same can be said of you and every other poster. Everyone has bias of their own point of view. And that is a very good thing. Because if you don't believe in what you think and say then what is the point in having a thought at all!

I can be rude and obnoxious sometimes and I recognise that but I'm a passionate guy about my club. But I don't know you or anyone else personally so in life I might think you're a cracking fella and enjoy a bevy with you.

I do love a wind up though so beware!

Blue tit. I think its hard because some on here (not yourself) always post negative stuff and moaning about stuff.

Some do not see the bigger picture. OK, so we could have done with another forward but look at the squad last season and look at the changes and players brought in over the summer.

That has been a huge overhaul, especially for a club with little money, ffp issues and is not the biggest draw anymore.

I just don't think people should knock the club after such a good window. We have lowered wage bill, lowered age of squad, brought in decent, if not top class, players and uts still not good enough for some.

Nothing was ever going to be sorted in just 1 window but never did I think we'd sort things out as quick as we have.

Defence and midfield so much improved, attack looks OK but mauoay needs to increase his output.

I am ever the optimist as my previous posts allude to. I was even willing to give rafa more time but thankfully, the team and backroom staff Kevin and Frank have built are showing huge signs of promise.

I hope the club and especially fans stay strong and give them time, even a year or two before screaming and shouting foe sackings if we are struggling a bit.

Look at kendal, fergie, etc. Struggled and nearly sacked before going on to great things. Arteta similarly now.

Arteta is a very good example geoff. Had supporters had their way he would be gone. Look at them now mate.

{Ed025's Note - good point brass..

Blue tit, I'm the same, all tongue in cheek, but yes, squad manager, = fckn scary and I even doubt maupay will geta game before the other championship lads back dom, mills needs a game, much better than Frank's recruits.

Mills is much better than the new recruits based on what? A few under 23 games? Hopefully he'll be a great player in the future but there's no basis for saying he's good enough to start.
It's the same with Simms and Dobbin, now in my opinion one of them should have stayed put given how short we are but the manager and coaching staff that watch them every day did not consider that they were ready to play at premier League level so how can we really question that?

Blue-tit it is what it is. We pays our money.

Don't mind negative post or points. It's the constant giving out about certain things where there is 0 balance put in. Like after a few games people wanting to get rid of Lampard. Or someone constantly giving out about the owner when in a lot of ways we are lucky to have him involved. Glass half full or half empty is fine by me. It's the glass constantly empty is hard to continuously read. There is not many that way. You certainly don't come across that way to me Blue-tit, for what it's worth. Obviously, everyone entitled to their opinion.

SA I don't mind disagreements as such I just feel like certain people purposely pretend that my positive pots never exist.

A friendly wind up is always fun, I posted about Scott Parker being our manager.

GeoffJohno I agree, it was always going to take time to rebuild and we have made a good step towards that this transfer window. It's just scary how close we were to relegation. It's the only thing we have, not ever been relegated haha.

NBTB I get what you mean about the glass always empty. It has been hard for us fans of Kate but hopefully the skies to come are bluer. I felt like I was unfairly branded as a glass always empty person by some. I may be more negative than some and more so than people like but I certainly wouldn't consider myself toxic.
I did think about the Arteta thing Brass.

{Ed025's Note - it’s ok to have differing points of view guys. In fact it’s healthy. One man’s meat being another man’s poison and all that..

Regular poster Blue-tit who I never really see being ignorant to others. That's good enough for me. I like to see some humour on here, slagging banter etc. Not so much the picking on certain individuals, if that's constantly aimed at someone in a ridicule manner it's not banter but hey that's what Ed's are for.

They do a fine job. You may well get your wish with Scott Parker Blue-tit. I'm sure another club will take him on and he may turn out to be a fine manager and eventually come to Everton. Arteta I predict could be a very good manager. Isn't he savagely intelligent? Like, didn't he train as a solicitor or something while he was a footballer? Maybe I'm wide off the mark with that. Guess I won't be long finding out on here ha.

Anyway, before the start of the season I thought Arsenal were the ones that may surprise this year. Let's see can they keep it up.

Yes it is Ed. I'm talking about when people don't disagree with your points, have banter, tell you why they think you are wrong but just make out like you should criticise anything. To me that isn't disagreeing and I see that a lot now. "Why don't you just support the team" after a fairly long and detailed analysis which included positive and negative. Even if they put that point across numerously I wouldn't mind it but it's just become constant. I like to see all that too NBTB.

{Ed025's Note - we are all entitled to our opinions BT that’s what this site is all about. All I ask is for courtesy and respect to others mate..

The written word gets lost in interpretation of the individual reading it and there state of mind at that point. I imagine most of these posts if said at the game, the pub or even a front room would come across different, yes sometimes I read on here and go I'm staying away from that, but everyone's point is valid even if not agreed with. Especially when things are going bad the frustration mounts up. I'd imagine a night out with you lot of crazy folk would be amazingly good fun in reality.

Great Post wolf. Playedbteally well today. Both teams rode their luck a little and both could have won it but not seen an Everton team battle like that for a long time.

Forward quality will come but doing the right things building from the back.

Frank learned from carlo, Jose and his uncle harry.

What I mean Ed is people make out that you shouldn't have your opinion if it's not entirely positive.

{Ed025's Note - well I don’t BT. There are a lot of things that have happened at our club that you can’t be positive about mate. But all I ask for is perspective and respect..

It also depends on the mood of the individual who reads your post BT. You often find that people who comment are those who disagree with a post. When people agree, they often tend to just think it and move on - sometimes they might give a thumbs up. It might only be one or two who disagree but their post stands out more.

I don’t think things are peachy at the club but feel we have progressed from the attitude shown last Autumn. Something happened between the team and Benitez which resulted in players playing out of positions and disharmony in the squad. Now we have a better attitude and the players seem to approach games with more confidence.

If others disagree with that, it is fine. They are wrong like, but that’s fine….

The attitude is top class. Got to give Frank credit for that.
