Freidkin to invest £548 million into Everton, that's some commitment.

He could of rounded it up to £550 million GB. Tight sod! ?.

Looks like he is going for the complete takeover of the 94.1 % of Moshiri shares and being said it should take around a month to compete the takeover with no problems with the Premier League.

Am sitting back GB and seeing how it plays out. Don't know anything of him, just the negativity by Jose towards him and Ed002 warning which given his track record on 777 warning months before hand worries me. Time will tell mate. Rather Bell and Downing.

Sky, BBCand ITV all saying Freidkin was the best of the pack that were after us, he’s done well with Roma and says he’s looking forward to making Everton Great again, looks like the deal will go through this weekend, anything has to be better than where we have been recently.

And Sky, BBC and ITV are always right are they. Its going to be slightly better than having 777 in charge. Ed02 has a better track record with us than any media outlet or any other "in the know" person. So I'm going to go with his view as opposed to a media outlet that really don't care what happens to us as long as they can sell a story and make some money.

{Ed002's Note - Post of the day.}

Let's hope so mate.

All about opinions Dan mate.

15 Jun 2024 16:08:36
It is all opinions GB. Is he going to help us short term? Yes. Is he going to improve us long term? Time will tell. Was there better options? Yes. The media tell us what we want to hear, they know we are desperate for this to be sorted out. Is this fella telling the media what he is going to do and how he is going to improve us?

Of course he isn't, so what they are feeding us is guess work. We have someone on here that has a good track record with us, and we have the media that couldn't give two hoots about us.

I hope I'm wrong, but in a few years when we don't own our stadium and we are renting it, and we are still in debt as paying back £1bn isn't going to happen anytime soon, I imagine we will be going through all this again. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't see this as a long term solution.

Until it's done it really isn't worth getting shirty and worked up about. If Mosh is happy then that person or group will be given the green light. Perhaps all this will do is make any other bidders up their bids. And if this guy does get it, well he clearly got it because he wanted it more. Once the dust settles it'll be interesting to know the financials on it. Did Mosh lose a ton of money or did he walk away with a payday. Do we still own the stadium do we still own the training facilities. If in a few years he stabilised us and we ended up in a European cup with Roma, will he flog off the Italian club and push the premier league golden goose? Or is he here to sort us out and in 3-5 years flip us for a profit? Too many variables that even GBs all seeing eye can't get into focus.

Look you have all been asking for a new owner, so if it's this guy then let's not start slaughtering him before he even gets his foot in the door eh.
