Seems like the European super league is resurfacing again.
Should a points deduction be given to any English club showing an interest in joing?

I’m sure nothing will be done to punish them. They reserve that sort of thing for clubs trying to join them through overspending! They don’t want any others to be part of their gang.

It really does feel like a matter of time before the greed changes the scene into one that can’t be changed back. There horse has bolted and anything that happens now is just shutting the stable doors afterwards. Football is in a mess: players, agents and managers all paid stupid figures and the fans often foot the bill to make it so (financially and emotionally) .

Instead of being punished, they’ve revamped the Club World Cup, another nonsense tournament.

The Americans are the ones we seem to want to tAke over as they're not "evil Saudis" "Dodgy oligarchs" yet they're the ones who will finally own the EPL and then facilitate a super league in whatever name and play these stupid 39th games and even arrange for regular 38 games to be played state side. In 10-20 years I really fear for football. Something is coming and with the investment these people don't like jeopardy. Something will happen to stop relegation and isolate the cream.

Agree. I can see the Premiership clubs having to go and play a certain amount of games in the states. New supporters, more money. Similar to what the NFL do when they play games at Wembley. It keeps the money ball rolling.
