Hi Ed what a Brilliant interview with our new owner absolutely fantastic he is the REAL DEAL, as I said in previous posts this is going to be some transfer window in January and the news of our debts cleared and the new stadium getting close what a Christmas present, GuernseyBlue.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - it all sound very promising GB, we just have to be a little patient mate and not overreact when things are not going well, its not an easy fix with everton and it will take time.

Have to agree Ed it will take time. It looks like we may struggle to attract the players RK wants initially. We may have to resort to City's tactics of paying over the odds for a so called super star. Unfortunately they may crash and burn ala Robinho at City. Once we have though one more will want to jump on the band wagon, it will then be down to RK to pick who he wants. In the short term SW role will be absolutely critical to finding the type of player RK wants and get them to join the project of making us great again without breaking the bank. So far they seem to have done a pretty good job int the transfer market. COYB.

{Ed025's Note - good players will come if the money is right sa but as you say we will have to pay above the going rate, january is not really the time to buy as its always the most difficult window but we do need new blood to give the other players a lift even though it wont be easy mate..

Just had a read of that on the SSN. Loved the fact he said we matched the £60m asking price for Koubaly and said it was "monopoly money"
The money is there and the backing is here for the manager to make signings in January. We need to address the midfield urgently as it's none existent at times.

Just listened to the Farhad Moshiri interview on the radio. Fair play the guy sounded great. Knows what he's doing and really loves the club already. So if anyone wonders about the £100 million thing, then just listen and your questions will be answered.

That man is genuinely going to make our club great again.

The more I listen to him the more I am convinced we will/ are going places. He is really becoming passionate about our club. First time we have officially been told that the club now has nil debt. Happy days.

Ano i sound negitive but for the club to say we have 100mil to spend the panic buy last min it just confuses me y wait last day of the window get the job done soon as it starts.

Honestly I think we got a bit ahead of ourselves. We tried to go toe to toe when Europe's biggest teams (juve for witsel, chelsea for koulibaly, arsenal for perez) . As many have said, we had the cash but not the draw of the big teams.

Its simple if we don't see atleast 4 new signings on jan we all need to face facts we haven't got the 100mil we were promissed that would meen 2 tranfer windows last window we spent 12 i think on williams 28 on bolasie an 7 on idrissa we sold stones wich basiclly pays for them so we spent **** all an as i said if we don't get at least 4 new players this jan the r club obv has problem an we are leaving r team to fall behind everone not improving the squad :/ hope to god am wrong.

Thats a bit harsh to say the least.

Who has said we have £100m to spend? I mean if you are talking facts ( you did say let's face facts) I would love to see when the club actually said this.

The January transfer window is a small one and whilst it would be nice it is highly improbable we will get 4 new signings. That in no way suggests our club has an "Obvious" problem. Unless that is you wish to share some more facts with us.

Here is a fact for you we are still in 7th position and only 1 goal difference from Man Utd in 6th and that after a game we really did not show up for and got slapped because of it. Had that been offered at the start of the season we would of all been happy.

Having the money and being able to spend it to buy the 'right' players are two different things!

You are reading too much into things and coming up with conclusions that just aren't there.

Farhad has explained clearly that all of the deals had been worked on over the summer and failed at the towards the end of the window. Nothing in it to suggest it was last minute.

The fact we are trying is a statement in itself even if it is last minute.

Pick out the positives Evo. Focusing on the negatives means you will never be satisfied even when things go well.
