Another 3 points well done to Sean and the lads what a haul of points these last few games,

Yeah the 15 game run was mad with the run before and after.

Arsenal game is a bit of a right off for me.

Onto the next big challenge of the summer transfer window, or pre 30th of June transfers.

Also mad to think Forrest could stay up on 29 points.

11 May 2024 17:32:32
Without points deduction we would be 22 points clear of relegation.

11 May 2024 18:01:51
Would have been 11th. Let's see us turn up against Arsenal, what I mean is make them earn it.

Was looking at the table Sean and the lads certainly upped it at the end, what could have been eh if we hadn’t lost all those games in the middle, looking forward to next season now, we could so easily have dropped a division if they hadn’t turned it around.

Agree0 0Disagree

11 May 2024 18:18:27
So if we finished 10th or even higher, would you been happy with Sean and his style of play GB? You and others wanted out 100% few weeks ago.

Going to be a case of pretty much the same next season pal so patience needed and a realization that survival is key not performances.

Seems like the Premier League were correct for once in not rushing to approve 777. I think we would be on the brink of extinction if they took over.

Moshiri has dragged us into the gutter and now wants to run away. Hopefully he will never again be seen at Goodison.

MSP seem to be in the box seat and hopefully with some debt restructuring, we can slowly start to turn our finances around.

If we need to sell then do it early so replacements can be brought in. Whoever goes isn't irreplaceable so let's just get it done.

To all those at Goodison today. make it shake with noise.

Glad the league never backed it but I think they could have dismissed them sooner. From the outside as a blue, it seemed a dodgy deal right from the start. Didhef a bullet I think mate.

11 May 2024 10:08:56
Not really they let it drag on for months more than it should of.

Agree0 0Disagree

11 May 2024 11:51:44
to be fair the PL did nothing, it was the media who sussed them out.

11 May 2024 18:03:50
Well apparently they have just provided some more funds 'as per agreement', so where did you read 777 have been cancelled?

Agree0 0Disagree

10 May 2024 20:50:44
The 777 nonsense has finally died on its feet. But please could we now have an explanation from the premier league on why they did not step in and put this farce to bed, long, long ago.

It has created a financial mess, which may well have done extreme damage to Everton football club, unless of course, that was always the intention.

Agree1 0Disagree

10 May 2024 21:41:48
I don’t think the premier league has caused us financial damage; that’s all on Moshiri and the board!

Agree1 0Disagree

11 May 2024 03:23:22
It's about time Everton fans stop blaming everyone else but the people actually supposed to run the club

It's Moshiri, sorry to have to say it Bill, and the rest of an incompetent board that have brought us where we are

I've not got much sympathy for the FA but they are in are in a lose lose situation. Approve a highly dodgy company like 777 or ban them and maybe push Everton into administration

How about Moshiri and co take responsibility and take decisions with EFC best interests at heart rather than their own self interests

We shouldn't need or require the FA to take the decisions for us and then use them as scapegoats.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that bw..

11 May 2024 10:54:05
Good post BW.

Imagine regardless of all the noise around 777 and negative stories it would have been very hard for the premier league to reject them seeing as they already had a few other teams in their portfolio.

If premier league had dismissed them they may have had a case to argue against a dismissal highlighting their ownership of other clubs and it could have got messy for the premier league.

Agree0 0Disagree

11 May 2024 14:52:11
Spot on BW, the PL have many things to answer for, but the state of EFC is not one of them.

Imagine if they had come in and stopped the deal, and we had ended up in Administration everyone on here would have blamed the PL for that too.

My mate got an email the other day saying that due to high demand he had been unsuccessful in his application for a season ticket. He's been on the waiting list for four years.
What other club could be so poor and still have such loyal support?

Now I'm retired and settled in a retirement apartment, I was considering getting a season ticket in the new stadium. Does anyone know when applications would be opening?

Has he joined up for the club membership mate? If not then he will always be near the bottom of the pile. He can increase his chances by paying the 30 odd quid for the year, this helps put him in the higher category for being accepted.

I would love that score line.

I plan to join the Atlanta Evertonians at the Limerick Junction Pub. In 12 years, my first opportunity to catch a match with other Blues.

My son, the next generation Blue will tag along in either his Tarkowski or Pickford jersey.

Happy times ahead, folks.

Not many decent players who's contracts are expiring at the end of the season but some we could snap up on a free:

Lloyd Kelly from Bournemouth
Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham
Kelechi Iheanacho from Leicester
Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester
Daichi Kamada from Lazio.

Agree0 0Disagree

10 May 2024 18:31:45
I'd take all 5 of them on frees. It's only way we are going to get players in this summer. Plus we going to have to be very shrewd with loans. No wasting them like we did with danjuma.

Am reading that Everton have withdrawn their appeal against the 2 point deduction today.

Agree1 0Disagree

10 May 2024 16:20:56
Makes absolute sense given they have of their own efforts become safe with 3 games to go. Calculate the Forest result and it wouldn't have come out to the good for us. Still it saves money for Mr Masters and Staff to have their lavish end of season slap on the back for job well done dinner!

In the past, the manager of the month was a curse but after beating Liverpool at home for the first time in 14 years I think our luck is about to change! Just make sure Dyche isn’t in a suit.

Creditors waiving loans means what exactly, reports say MSP would be likely to do that if they takeover from 777,does that mean MSP have more of a share in our new stadium above my pay grade.

Agree1 0Disagree

10 May 2024 13:23:16
It means that if MSP were to take over the offer would drop to a level where the loans do not need to be repaid - the issue is they are now overdue.
