Looks like we have signed sambou from Coventry. 18 year old striker.

1.) 03 Jun 2016 08:19:18
ha ha Dentie, he has the same smile as Lennon, welcome to the Blues Sammy.

2.) 03 Jun 2016 12:08:40
Lukaku's replacement? 😂.

18 May 2016 00:05:44
Supposedly lukaku's dad has said he will leave Everton before euros. shame but he was a reserve team striker before he came to us and West Bromwich. he ain't the only striker to put a ball in the net. i'm sure if he goes we will get an adequate replacement. wilson from Bournemouth looks good enough.

1.) 18 May 2016 00:29:17
you really think replacing Lukaku is that easy? he has scored 25 goals this season, i doubt Wilson would get anywhere near near that many.

2.) 18 May 2016 08:54:35
That's the worst part of letting him go, his play is often frustrating but he gets goals, hence the price tag getting banded around.

I don't think it will be good for the team if we keep him against his will, bad sulker. Have to see if we get a manager in who can persuade him to stay.

3.) 18 May 2016 09:05:18
Have other posters got any opinions on Rondom the forward at West Brom. Always keeps popping up with a goal.

4.) 18 May 2016 09:51:33
We don't need an odd goal striker like Rondon. Would take Bony and Berahino as replacements.

5.) 18 May 2016 09:57:21
I'm sorry but a truly world class striker would have scored way more than 25 goals based on the amount of chances Rom had and missed!

6.) 18 May 2016 12:23:47
Bluegray, you say you don't want an odd goal striker but youd be happy with Berahino?

7.) 18 May 2016 13:28:22
Was thinking of Rondom as a second striker, say to replace Kome not as main striker.

8.) 18 May 2016 18:05:33
Berahino as a second striker Lewis the lad is young and has goals in him.

27 Feb 2016 16:52:09
I've just read that ex arsenal board member has purchased 49.9% of everton

1.) 27 Feb 2016 16:54:56
Yep, confirmed on the club website. Investment and bill stays. Win win that for me.

2.) 27 Feb 2016 17:31:20
Great news, I reckon he's bought Bill and Robert Earls stakes in the club for a controlling interest. As their shares conveniently equal 49%. It's great that he's keeping Bill on if this is the case as he can pretty much do what he wants now, great gesture.

3.) 27 Feb 2016 18:20:25
A very interesting development and hopefully a win for the club. I don't believe we have seen the end of this story. I can't believe Earl would not want to cash in so we can assume that he has sold his shares which I have read are about 23%. I can't believe that Bill would have sold all his shares and left Woods with his 19%. It will be interesting to see who the major shareholders are now and how the new funds will be spent.

{Ed002's Note - What new funds?}

4.) 27 Feb 2016 19:09:46
Well you are correct Ed002, I was hoping that the new shareholder would bring in some new cash but that may be wishful thinking.

{Ed002's Note - See other answers.}

5.) 28 Feb 2016 03:11:23
As I suggested above it would appear that Earl has sold his shares and Bill and Woods have sold some of theirs so Moshiri holds 49.9% and Bill and Woods will remain on the Board with Moshiri. Sounds like a wise plan. if Moshiri tries to do something that is not in the interests of the club, Kenwright and Woods with the other shareholders could block that move.

16 Apr 2015 09:00:00
According to reports, Barcelona midfielder, Sergio Roberto, has in principle agreed to join us in the summer. If true it's not a bad signings.even.

03 Feb 2015 12:12:02
Anyone been on efc official website and seen the photo gallery of lennon? He looks miserable as sin in every photo.it's like he doesn't want to be here.

1.) 03 Feb 2015 12:48:39
Wouldnt you be? From playing with eriksen, dembele and vertonghen to playing with mcgeady, barkley and distin. I've said to my dad he probably didn't want to join, he had a choice us or stoke, if youve seen stoke fans the gremlins come to mind, not a tough choice, he would of liked to stay at tottenham.

2.) 03 Feb 2015 13:33:23
If you looked at his tottenham pics you'd say the exact same thing. Probably just not a smiling kind of guy. But even so, i'm kinda glad, Eto'o smiled alot, and we all know how that ended.

3.) 03 Feb 2015 13:36:02
I thought the same, the last thing we need is more misery around the dressing room. He should think of this as a chance to prove himself to us and Spurs, he's playing for his future as his current manager obviously doesn't rate him. Cheer up mate worse things happen at sea.

4.) Swan I really don't think you even support everton, yes you may go the games and might even cheer a little when we score but supporting a team is about supporting them through the good and the bad times. We are having a bad season but the strength of players between everton and Spurs, there isn't much difference. But you being such a big everton supporter you pick out 3 of Spurs better players and pick 3 everton players that have struggled this season. Why not pick out McCarthy, stones and mirrales and compare them with the 3 Spurs players. joker.

5.) 03 Feb 2015 15:44:20
How about judging him on his football ability rather than if he smiles a lot or not, honestly our fans are so spoilt and judgmental if I was a player I would go nowhere near this club mainly because of the fans.

6.) 03 Feb 2015 16:19:01
Mike that is too harsh but everyone's entitled to their own opinion

7.) 03 Feb 2015 16:53:51
I purposely picked those players, it was a joke tweet, check azzas twitter, he's happy to be here and as long as he gives his all then fair enough. I do support the team byt have the right to be happy and unhappy with certain decisions, if we had sold mccarthy, mirallas, coleman and stones but signed titus bramble, would you support that decision and be chuffed? Nah. If I don't like a certain player for whatever reason and he signs for us, do you want me to say 'fantastic signing, always rated him', again, nah, i'm shocked you haven't played the old 'youre probably a kopite' card on me, the usual card some 'fans' use on this site, I love everton, I just don't kiss the ass of every decision we make, if that doesn't suit your 'proper evertonians' test then oh well, I won't lose sleep over it

8.) Not asking you to say great signing, but at least give the guy a chance. You have already said in a previous comment that he won't be any good. I doubt the players read this site but if they did then I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to play for us.
I used to think we were the best supporters around but think too many have too high expectations these days and are always looking to dig at something. The atmosphere at goodison at the moment is shocking and never thought I would see us booing after 20 minutes. It has been a shocking season but look at how the man United fans responded last season to get behind the team.

9.) 03 Feb 2015 18:14:59
All I remember from last season was utd fans going 'when we sign reus, iniesta, ronaldo, hummels, varane, pogba, gundogan and' blah blah blah, I don't want to do that. i'm all for giving him a chance, but I still don't think he will do well, but i'm not going to boo him or give him personal abuse, he seems a really good lad, if anything I will stand up for him, like I've done with kone, like I did with mcgeady (although he is terrible, he's had a year, chance gone for me) and i'm doing with alcaraz. He has my full support and will continue to do so until I think he's had a chance and hasn't delivered. I wasnt happy being linked, i'm not happy we have signed him but he's here now and I will give him a chance.

{Ed025's Note - thats very nice of you swan.. :)

Maybe a daft question but if Everton in principle sign players before window opens and it's official, can the 'signed ' player train with his new club before window opens?

1.) 15 Jun 2017 14:11:22
Since everyone is away on their hols who would the player train with?

2.) 15 Jun 2017 15:17:58
Just thought we may be in training before window opens with us starting our season in july.

3.) 16 Jun 2017 00:18:50
With these linked players signed and close to signing, bill and Elstone must be on holiday somewhere, quick get them all signed before they get back.

24 Apr 2017 22:50:54
Congratulations to the U23's on there title win tonight. Great job by Unsy and the boys.

15 Jan 2017 15:27:54
Brilliant performance. Everyone from Joel through to lukaku put a shift in.

1.) 15 Jan 2017 15:47:11
Tears screams the Rocky balboa moments for Davies and lookman. Few city players where a disgrace ottomende for 1. What a day poor aul stones. Peps too soft for the north:)

2.) 15 Jan 2017 16:07:01
Absolutely brilliant. barkley was great. but davies had a stand out performance. svenny normally i agree with what you say but i think you have to take back whay you said about him last week

15 Jan 2017 15:09:10

Don't remember Lineker being quick, or shearer being like a bullet out of a gun or even Sheringham managing to beat a tortoise in a sprint, but they scored goals because they knew where to be and when. Dolberg obviously knows where to be and remember he already has an understanding with Klaasen. If Sandro signs I'm sure he would be buzzing around the whole front line, opening up spaces, dragging defenders out of position, so Klassen and others would get in the box. Dolberg could greatly benefit from that.

I've followed a lot of our loan players and at frankfurt, shani was mainly a sub, but got a lot of football. Just thinking he could be useful for europa league andmaybe the cup games. Either way I trust Koeman and Walsh to get it right.

Would be a shame about Besic but injuries played there part. But give me a match day squad where everyone has his dedication and commitment. Ed025 do you know if tarashaj is going to be given a chance pretty season or do you think he could be a gunner too.

{Ed025's Note - difficult one that dentie, i like the look of tarashaj myself but i dont know how RK fels about him mate..

Also look at harry kane. Bangs em in left right and centre, overtook Rom when we thought he was going to get golden boot, yet his international goals ain't like his return for spurs. Sandro WILL score goals if he signs. God I'm hoping klaassen scores on his debut and pickford doesn't concede a goal or we going to be shopping for replacements in January judging some fans views.

70 odd minutes ain't early to be taken off. The 46th yes. Why try to pick faults with a kid who is probably going to sign. even Dixie Dean didn't score every game he played. Give the kid some slack.

Don't care if they are as bald as a tour de France cyclist or swimmer, as long as they do the job is all that matters. looking forward to Klaasen out of all linked.

Think I read that he hasn't scored or assisted in a goal since he's been at man city. Not good for a winger, on a free or not.

Only worry bout the cost after the club's asked for a sub off you. Til then let them deal with the cash.
