On twitter saying Barry has signed 3 year deal
Pictured with RM
22 May 2014 19:42:29
Not a rumour and not relevant at the moment
But I have heard our under 15s are excellent
And there are high hopes for at least six to
Make the first team.
Also the under 6s (yes I know) are rated as the
Best ever the club has had. We have apparently
Bid 15k for an 12 year old striker from Wigan and
Have a six year old predicted to be a future star
{Ed025's Note - the trouble is B 60, that 90% won't make it! it's a sad fact but that's the truth of it mate..
1.) At Fazakerley Hospital as I write this, nurse just told me newly born has popped out a bit blue but okay, both feet kicking! 2036 World Cup Winner!
2.) More than 90 more like 99 out 100 it ussally one year maybe 2 if were lucky
3.) 23 May 2014 05:56:43
I know ed but Just telling you what I've heard coming from inside the club
{Ed025's Note - i realise that mate, and it all bodes well for the future..
4.) They don't have a maternity ward at Fazakarley aymore Mushy lad :( (sorry mate had to throw that in :/ )
5.) 23 May 2014 10:14:47
Yes Ed025. 90% will not make it. That still leaves a healthy 10% and if we got 10% every year, that would be a team over a 10 year time span in my maths. (we would only need to buy 1 player then.)
{Ed025's Note - sounds good to me degs..
22 May 2014 19:31:37
Have it from a very good source that the Rodwell
Return is defo being negotiated, fee is around 7 million
Don't normally spread rubbish, this is from
Inside club. Don't shoot the messenger if it
Doesnt happen but it is being discussed
{Ed025's Note - I just don't see what he offers for that sort of money..
1.) 22 May 2014 20:53:59
I think the potential is still there Ed, and don't forget he's sill only young still the biggest difference this time though he will be able to express himself without the fear of moyes telling him he's doing wrong all the time.
2.) 22 May 2014 20:57:39
The co-op over the road is closer
3.) He offers nothing in midfield except wasted wages on an injured player - and no one else would pay above 5m for him
The one saving grace is he could be turned into a possibly good centre back to replace distin
How's about
Coleman Stones Rodwell Baines as a back four in a couple of years time?
4.) Please please please stop with Rodwell thing, why on earth would Martinez with a thin squad pay 7m mil 4 a player who hasn't featured at all this season and plays a handful of games because of constant injurys, this stuffs more annoying than cleverly garbage
5.) 23 May 2014 05:59:22
I agree he is not my choice but if a deal can be done it will happen, we will have to hope talks break down
6.) Just don't see RM parting with money on an injury prone player after the kone and alcaraz problems last year would see a loan deal as the only way forward to see how fit he is over a season, would be a good squad player if he can stay fit.
7.) Rodwell was showing real promise before he got the dreaded hamstring boomerang injury. (it kept coming back). Man City believed he was worth 12 million. It is all down to his fitness. I would put him through the most vigorous fitness test ever. Assess him over a few days and then make a decision. He has not turned into a poor player overnight. He has just been blighted with injuries. Remember the goal he scored coming on as sub against Man Utd? It was real class. That shows he has the ability. It is whether his body can withstand the training and constant flow of games throughout a season.
{Ed025's Note - decidedly average for me degs..
8.) I actually like him as a player, if we got him some new hamstrings it'd be worth it.
Can't see City agreeing to it but some deal heaviliy weighted to appearances to take into account his fitness issues would be my preference.

Dominic King says Traoré will be ours on loan in Next 48 hours
Bring it on this guy looks à beast
1.) According to another website, this cannot happen unless West Ham agree to the player joining us. We would have to get a work permit for him so don't expect anything soon.
2.) It also states that if west ham don't agree it will take 5 days to withdraw that permit and get one with us
3.) I've also read this plus he's apparently injured for the next month

BK haters should be giving him credit for not bowing to the mancs, sStill think felli will go if price is right for us
1.) Ah right nice one, ill forget the millions wasted on failed stadiums, ill forget the fact he has asset stripped the club to feed his ego, ill forget the way he refuses to sell the club, but pretends he wants to, the constant lies, the blubbering cheesy acting. The fact he has invested the grand sum of nothing in the club. I'll forget how we have had a massive increase in funds but spent next to nothing before we have to sell to buy. But yeah if he holds out for a decent price for baines and Felli ill forgive him all that. {Ed025's Note - not a big fan then?.. :)
2.) Everton hold all the cards if we keep saying no its not like the players are going to sulk and refuse to play it is a World Cup year after all if anything they will try harder to remain in their countries plans. And if the Belgium squad lives up to their potential we could have a World Cup winner with a vastly increased price tag.
3.) He'll cave in yet don't worry about that. It's a given both are gone. What the first reply said. This pathetic, spineless board should be run out of town after this. Final straw for me. Hope BK has his ky jelly at hand.
4.) Oh dear.the stage the lights the action. No book, no play, is ever over in the first few pages/scenes. BK is a master act at drama. do you not think the whole proceedings have been staged. the hero, the villain, then the hero. By turning down a couple of stupid offers, he is the hero, Manchester United are the villains, but the hero loses an arm for the cause. this will be the selling of felli and bains . then he gets an artificial one on Monday. some signings. it's all staged my friend, RIGHT FROM THE START. Reminds me of Star Wars. {Ed025's Note - cheers biffy spielberg.. :)
5.) I didn't realise so many psychics' come on the website and know the future can I ask who will win the champions league
6.) I give up damnéd if he does damnés if he doesn't he just can't win, I guess the fact he saved us from oblivion after péter Johnson counts for nothing, would you sell your house for peas than its worth
7.) Second poster TAKE A BOW MATE!
Hate these luvvie lovers who tell me I should be grateful for a man who paid £30m for our club does nothing, invests nothing, sells our real estate then 14 years later puts it up for £150m!
The man is a terminal illness
Dave M
8.) Dave M- he didn't pay £30m for the club, it was a loan.
A lot of the debt came from the board doing a Glazier's, after Robert Earl came on board. What the board members paid for the club, they borrowed back and put the debt on the club. So they got EFC for nothing. The finances have struggled ever since. And now he wants £150m, but we all know Philip Greene is the puppet master and Earl the man behind all the vibrac loans. Leeches, one and all.

Can we have anymore loans?
1.) In a word. no
2.) In a word yes, as long as they are not domestic.
3.) Yes from abroad
4.) Everton are allowed to sign further players on a temporary agreement. A quick look at the Premier League rule book clearly indicates that only domestic loans are limited, with no more than two at one time and no more than four over the course of a season.

Great display, great win, great to be blue
Thought mcarthy and Barry were excellent tonight, and the defending from the whole team was top notch.will anyone in the media finally accept us as serious challengers
After Sunday we have a reasonable run of fixtures but even Arsenal can be beaten, our squad
looks a lot stronger, oviedo has been a revelation the last 2 games keep it going blue boysCOYB

I couldn't mark anyone below an 8 today, that was all round a very very good performance against a team we normally struggle against, bit more composure we couldve scored another 4
We made Stoke lok Pretty poor, very good ball retention, great Desire to win back possession, great attacking play while staying strong t the back.even mark Hughes said we were just too good for them
This was without mirellas, baines and barclay
We are improving all the time, no doubts we will have some off days but t the moment we are just great to watch and growing in confidence
Personally with the same attitude, workrate and forward play I firmly believe we can go to old Trafford and turn them over, beats the old moyes tactics handsdown
Watch out gollum your Next
Great times ahead, proud and excited to be blue Long may it continue
COYB
Watch out gollum
1.) With a bit of luck we might just get out of there alive. But seriously, if we play like we have done the last 2 games I fancy us to win comfortably. One thing's for sure, we'll go there to win and show no fear. For the first time in years we can go there and not defend for our lives and carry a genuine threat. And our bench is looking healthy. I think its time mirrellas was rested don't think he's played
that well so far and give the spanish kid
a few games, he looks so direct and dangerous
Anyone agree?
1.) I disagree.

Why is everyone pelting naismith and osman, they wernt the worse, mirellas was crap today gave away possession for second goal, coleman wasnt at his best and neither was barkley, the spanish kid and gibson were also rubbish when they came on, be fair with your criticism.naismith and ozzie were ok in first half but dissappeared in second, the ref was shocking Silva shouldve had booking early on and couldve been sent off, also god knows why we didn't get a pen, and 9 bookings was ridiculous
1.) 100% agree. The referee awarded a penalty to City that was the mirror image of the one he should have awarded to us in the 1st half. We were, admittedly, a little toothless in the 2nd half. They completely shut us down. Someone, somewhere, will somehow find a way to blame Moyes and / or Kenwright for this defeat.

Jesus you can't blame ossie for this one ffs it was 3 0 down when he came on
Says he has about 15 players on a list Who he os looking at, so it may be more than one addition
Agree, we can get much better

Saw the game and the defence was top
Drawer today. Also I thought our fitness levels looked a lot better, we closed down a lot quicker today, and in patches we controlled possession against a team on a good run with pace in their side. All in all 3 points well deserved COYB
Whether it's a good idea or not nobody in their right mind would fall for it so it won't happen unless Lfc prepared for a lawsuit
Hear hear, we have to balance our squad and not be overloaded with players when all fit
At last, just been having a debate, sick of people slagging osman off when there were worse players than him on show today, can't we just rejoice in a good comfortable win when we didn't play our best COYB
Dont forget we have Gibson to come back
