Looking at the comments from all of us I can see that we all feel differently about this new era. We've all given Frank the time he's needed. Since he took over he has had to climb through the wreckage of past managers mistakes and suffered the poor performances and terrible displays. He asked us for patience and for once we all gave him that. We stuck together through the hard times because we all felt this was different than the promises we've heard in the past. Now look at us. This is what patience and trust brings. I havnet seen the fanbase and the club united like this since I can't remember. This man gets us. He gets the club. He gets the fans and more importantly the players and the fans get him. What he has achieved in under a year is nothing short of amazing. I have to just take my hat off and say Frank, you're doing such a good job that I hope you get the just reward of bringing silverware to our club. I have every faith in him and his backroom staff and I fear no team. Another year and who knows what type of honours we will be competing for. All moving forward as one unit. I don't hear anything negative towards this man and that's something we haven't had in years. The improvement of so many players under him is phenomenal. The team make me proud. So excited for the future now and it's all thanks to Frank amd his staff.
Just had to say this. COYB.

Brilliant Pauly although I disagree with one part where you say you don't hear anything negative about the man unfortunately that's not true for some reason the media where pushing the agenda he's a poor manager and the fans are turning against him I have no idea where they got that idea I can only assume it's because he's the Everton manager and as we know the media have a disliking of our club but he has United the fans the atmosphere is good at the game and let's start pushing in the right direction.

I agree Pauly. I think not only does he get the club but us fans also get him. Results always dictate that though. However, as much as our fans do my head in sometimes with its negativity, they do tend to understand what we want on the pitch.

There's not a lot of clubs that have traits they want their team to have. Good football is the usual word but for us it's been with us for decades and is always the base we start from in the stands and is a collective of just a couple of things. Fight, commitment and spirit. If you show that on the pitch, these fans will back you all the way.

Denis Strac (not even going to attempt spelling) , oumar and others without real quality but on that pitch gave everything. We'll back them.

Well Frank is lacking some area of quality in managing due to being young in the job, but he is giving everything. No koeman or fat sam holidays when they take a job or mid way in a season. No derogatory knives at gun fights comment's about my club. Just passion and fight on the sidelines.

So yeah, right with you Pauly. Can't wait to stand next to this current bunch of blues on a match day again. Both on the pitch and in the stands.

COYB.

{Ed025's Note - great post John..

Lamps I meant no negativity from the fans. Of course the media want him to fail. That seems to be a given when you put the blue of Everton on.

Decent list Pauly, but don’t agree all fans have given him time as whilst Frank is doing a great job and the majority on here can see that.

There are still several posters on here who have been moaning most of the season about him and the team, they’ll go quiet for a bit now we’ve had a win but unfortunately they’ll be back with their nonsense soon enough.

Great Post BlueJonhsUn. Absolutely spot on. Gingerdan, my comments about being concerned about the formation were reasonable and I actually think proven true. I posted about his tactical naivity which he displayed at times. I also commented on how I think he is the right manager for us, how I think he will adapt, that he will abandon the terrible formation, How amazing his man management is. I have commented how I think k he gets us and we get him, that I think we will grow together and that he has got things to learn but will learn them. How he has brought back the fight, the spirit. Don't get hung up on specific points or posts Gingerdan mate. And just because you don't agree with certain things doesn't make it nonsense. Plus we have been like a person who have had bad partner after bad partner and we assume the next person is going to do the same as the rest; hurt us and leave us haha.

Blue-tit my comment was not aimed at you.
You make valid points and if not happy suggest alternatives.
Everyone entitled to their own opinions and that’s what’s great about the site.
Unfortunately there are some on here that just moan and moan and give no valid reasons or sensible alternative suggestions.
These are the posters I was referring to and I’m sure most can think of atleast one on here.

Some great posts here agree with all hopefully this upwards trend continues, the players are working hard and look like there enjoying it along with us fans.

The players appreciating the fans at the end will only strengthen the already strong bonds between us.

Also mylenko top guy gave his top to the shivering kid was a nice touch.

A lot of good posts, I have been watching Everton since my father took me to my first game at the age of six, seventy-six years ago. I have seen good managers, bad managers, good players, bad players, good teams and bad teams. What is the most important difference between the good and the bad is team work. From the owner (s) , management, recruiting, scouting, coaching, the manager and his team, the academy, the squad and the individual players.
What I see beginning to develop is good management especially in recruiting, in Kevin Thelwell we at last seem to have someone who knows what is needed to strengthen the squad. We have a manager who has bought into the culture of the club and knows how to get the best our of players, we have brought in players who are not over-the-hill and have already shown a passion for the club and we at last have a squad who are beginning to play like a team rather than a bunch of individuals.
We have some way to go but the beginning is very positive. We will have ups and downs but we, the supporters, have to be patient. Give Frank, Kevin and a few more transfer windows and we will see major improvements. Also keep the owner out of the equation, he needs to learn to delegate.

All really great posts and nice to see. We have improved so much over the summer. Frank had a pre season and him and KT identified key areas and personalities and got them in. 2 cbs tough and not scared if a fight. Cm is hugely proved including the revelation who is iwobi.

Up front and wide we could improve but maupay runs all day and glad he got a goal. End product needs to be the training for the wide players. Find a teammate, cross the ball and chip in with few goals.

The great thing to see, as has been mentioned is the ages of the new players. Mainly under 25, apart from defensively coady, tarks amd gueye touching 30 or just over, gives great experience to the young ones around them. Patterson, mickey, onana all early 20s.

We are going to lose games, it's obvious but if we fight for 90+ minutes every week then fans will allow that.

Frank and Kevin given another 2 or 3 windows will have the team of their own players and we will be pushing up the table I think.

Although I’m in agreement with what has been said about the direction of the club on the whole, let’s not forget we are 13th with one win and four draws (some we could really have done with winning) . We only won 1-0 against West Ham and it could easily have ended in a draw. It is still early days and a win against Southampton away then some points from Utd at home, Newcastle away or Spurs away and I’ll start to feel more confident.

Just remember: only 35 more points needed….
