Chelsea offered 50 mil + add ons. Wed be foolish to knock it. back.
Look at other clubs when they have had big offers for their best players. They took the money and reinvested it (wisely or not)
Them lot sold coutinho, utd sold Ronaldo, City let jesus and zinchenko leave.
We could do so much with this money on top of any that's left from richy money or what we find down the side of the couch.
Ffp will be helped too as long as we're sensible.
Need to lose a few players tho, gomes, Allan, Keane maybe.

I agree with most of the posters. 50m plus addons is a great deal for Gordon where he is currently
We should though twist Chelsea's arm a little bit more and get one or two players from them included in the deal at bargain prices or one on a loan deal if we can do one
Strikers have to be the priority in my opinion so one of Broja or Batshuayi with Broja being my favored option
Second player choose between Gilmore and Gallagher depending on how much we have to spend so I think it's likely to be Broja and Gilmore or Batshuayi and Gallagher
Depending on how close we are to FFP restrictions hopefully we might have enough money left for a Kudos or a Brereton Diaz although, to be honest I don't know much about either
We need to act quickly. We need strengthening offensively urgently. We can't afford to lose any more points because of lack of action before Saturday.

I think the lampard connection to Chelsea makes people think that their players are the only ones we look at. i'm pretty sure Broja, Gallagher won't be coming here. News on Gueye has died down, guirassy rumours have died down. Kudus supposedly isn't leaving. Just hope we have players ready to rock up to finch farm before deadline day, and hopefully before this weekend of fixtures too.

If we sell him without having players ready to come in then we will end up in the championship. He might not be prolific in front of goal or provide plenty of assists but those things will come with experience the more games he plays. What we will missis his endeavour, determination and his work rate. These things can be infectious to those around him and make them give another 10% in games.
I'm still on the fence with this. The money will go along way to sorting the squad out but only if it's reinvested wisely. Can we be trusted to spend it properly?

Even if it is true though, as you have said we are 'rumoured' to have an interest in other Chelsea players
All I can do is leave it up to those who make the decisions and hope they make better decisions than some made in the past.

Agree that we need to make better decisions than in the past.
If the £50m and £10m add ons is true then we’d have to take that. Gordon a good player but no end product and that’s what we’re crying out for.

It's interesting isn't it? Barry Cass on ToffeeTV has repeatedly said that Broja has been our number one target since before the summer window even opened - pretty sure he has good contacts at the club, but who knows? There's always a lot of noise during the transfer window and lots of people seem to speak with authority and knowledge. At the end of the day, we will make some more signings before the window closes - some of us will be happy, others will not. Personally I'd like to see four more in: Broja, Maupay/ Adams/ Diaz, Gana and a new CAM.
We can all see that we're being held back by Profit and Sustainability rules and regulations. Most of us feel it's unfair - especially watching the likes of NUFC, CFC and others spending so much. Even more so when you think about the future revenue the new stadium will generate.
I think we need to get behind all the players, whoever they are; trust the coaching staff; and support the team - a toxic atmosphere in the fanbase will not help our club - UTFT!
