Ed02 seems be new story everyday surely it has to be done this week.

{Ed002's Note - Someone needs to change their mind or those involved all need to agree on a new coach.}

Is that someone who has been interviewed needs to change their mind or a member of the board?

{Ed002's Note - The club.}

Seems to be bit of shambles ed02 I reckon you do better job then board.

{Ed002's Note - The problem comes when you have two opposing views - so regardless, someone will be dissatisfied when the appointment is made.}

Seems to be one big mess doesn't it, at the min ED02 is it Moshiri wants Rafa and Brands doesn't want him.

{Ed002's Note - Not quite, but Moshiri wants Benitez.}

{Ed002's Note - Something like that.}

I actually agree with Moshiri on this Rafa would be a great appointment but if Brands doesn't want him then I have no idea where we go from here.

{Ed002's Note - Neither does BK.}

If Rafa comes in do you think Brands will stay?

{Ed002's Note - Sure.}

I know moshiri is the owner but surely he should allow Brands as the director of football a big say in the appointment, otherwise why employ him?

Brands has done well with recruitment and is doing decent work moving on numerous managers failed previous signings - we don’t want to lose him.

Think as others have said we should be going down the Coach route rather than a manager.

Leave brands recruit and the coach coach.

I mentioned more than once that BK has large influence still. I was told he has very little now a days. If Mr Moshri wants Rafa surely if BK does have little influence then Mr Moshri will go ahead.

{Ed002's Note - I expect so.}

Who ever comes, I hope they come with their own back staff, get rid of all the dead wood.

So another manager coming in for one last big pay day. Moshiri must like giving money away.

If it is to be Rafa i honestly don't think it is for the money, he is obviously not short of a bob or two. On this occasion he needs us more than we need him.
This is a massive step for him as he will have to prove himself more than ever before, he will know the pressure he is under the minute he walks through the door. I don't think he is going to enjoy living in this area if it all goes pear shaped.

If it’s Rafa he will be gone by Christmas. Guys living off what he did in the past. Done nothing for years, yet people think he’s the new messiah.
I joked recently that we would have at least two more managers before the new stadium was finished. Think there’s a very good possibility of that happening now.

{Ed025's Note - but if it is rafa we have to give him a chance woburn, moshiri wanted him and believes he can move everton forward so its hobsons choice mate, lets get behind him and the club until we have good reason not to i say..

Is there any manager out there who has 'done something in the last 10 years' that we could get?

It's his money and rich people tend to be quite astute, obviously. The man is genuinely trying to do his best by the Club. Would you like him to walk away?
