These performances this season have been awful.
Out of the whole squad this is who if keep Who will put a shift in. Aslo i think these players are promising for us And am sure with carlo as are manager he can bring some more fighters in to join them an build a decent team over the next 2 years

Richarlison
Dcl
Gordon
Digne
Holgate
Branthwaite
Gomez
Kean
Keane
Coleman

The rest can do one as i have lost patience with them The always say they need a reaction well ab been waiting for a reaction since we sacked koeman . we have hid behind mangers for years for gods sake use play for everton football club and are on a decent income put a f***ing effort in and show some determination and some responsibility. Over the years we haven't had the best of players in the moyes era but they all worked their socks off and fighted that's all us fans wont. It sickens me that am even on here asking them to fight for the badge this should be drilled in there heads when brought in rant over 🙈.

Think I would add Mina and Bernard to this list. Mina has been unlucky with injuries and when he has got a run of games has looked decent.
Bernard always puts a shift in and links well with Digne, I know he is a bit lightweight but in a team with a bit more possession and attacking intent he would be a good option.

Not a fan of bernard dunc sorry i think he gets away with stick because he is a nice fella but he offers nothing for me weak can't shoot and very rarely beats a man.

I think Bernard has been found out in the prem now. Other teams seem to target him, they know he is too small and weak to win any sort of challenge in the air. He loses all the 50/ 50s or gives away free kicks. I think this is the reason he isn't played that often.

Sorry I wouldn't keep any.

Bernard is coming back from his own personal problems so I think he can be cut some slack compared to others. After all, as a club don't we help people get back to their best, either players or those in the wider community?
The reason we have so many players who just aren't good enough is down to FM making the mistake of employing a chief scout as a DoF, we are still paying for that now. He wasted millions in his tenure, we still have some players he bought that we can't get rid of. I don't believe we have been hiding behind managers as an excuse, some of them had lost the dressing room and the crowd with insepid tactics etc.
A big clear out is needed this window but I can't see many moving on in the current climate, not with the wages they have been handed. It will take time but at least we finally have a manager that knows how to be successful, a born winner imo. If it's true that Brands will have more input then that's good news for us all, give them the time and we will look a lot healthier as a club in the not so distant future. Unfortunately, we have been in transition since FM took over, let's hope that he's learnt from his mistakes and we can kick on from there.

I agree Bernard he’s awful offers nothing, get him out the door ASAP. I’d sell both Keane and Mina, unlikely this summer but hopefully we can shift one of them. I think Mina is the better of the two. But he’s always injured.

And Coleman needs replacing too, technically he’s one of the worst full backs in the league. Yesterday in the space of 2 mins him and iwobi got in down the right, and both couldn’t pick out a blue shirt. Per injury he would drive into the box and cause problems for the opposition. Now he gets 30yards from their goal and turns back and plays the ball back into our half.

Against spurs and Southampton he was shocking, over hitting passes, kicking out play. He’s massively effecting the team down our right side. One of the most important buys for me this summer, a class right back.

Gomes is yes a good player (in the right environment) but what player are you lot watching. The one I see has talent but premiership players won't give him time to use it. He needs a dm alongside him that can afford him the space. We have one, currently playing at CB.

Totally agree with EVOCALLUM on the players attitude. If you don't want to fight for the shirt and put a shift in every match then you shouldn't be wearing the shirt. It should be the minimum we should expect as supporters
On what players to keep it's tough. Adenirons, Baningime, Ellis and maybe a couple of others from the U23 just haven't been given a chance. Whynot? What is Carlo seeing in the performances of Davies, Sigurdson, Iwobi, Walcot and Bernard that are keeping them in the side ahead of blooding the youngsters
He put Gordon in - a success. He's put Branthwaite in - another success. Both albeit on very limited exposure. We don't know if Moise Kean will be any good as he has not been given the time when we could have moved Ricky to one of our weaknessee, the wingbacks and given Kean a chance to prove himself.
My 'retention squad'
GK - no change. Pickford has given me nightmares sometimes this season but he is still one of the best shot stoppers and quite frankly we need to spend the money elsewhere
Fullback - Digne stays. Coleman and Baines to stay but only as cover. Sidibe out - can't defend. Decision to be made on Kenny or new RB signed
CB - Holgate, Keane, Branthwaite, Gibson (? ) ANO. Mina to go as too injury prone
MF Only Gomez, Gordon and Gbamin to stay although there is something wrong with Gomez since his injury and honestly we don't know yet what Gbamin can do. Scary isn't it? The only one I am confident in is Gordon
Forwards - DCL Ricky to stay. Kean hasn't convinced me so, if there's enough money, I'd invest in a striker

This doesn't include who can be promoted from the U23 who, as I say we haven't seen for some reason. It needs to be a very busy close season for Brands and Carlo but they are the right 2 to have.
