Samuel Umtiti being linked this morning, midfield sorted in the summer now hopefully defence to be beefed up, Carlo will have more of his type of players in the Team soon, once so many of our second rate players have been moved on we will progress but this is not a 100 meters more like a marathon, we have been in a mess for so long now no easy fix, but he will after more Windows.

Why do we need another centre half? Really, we bought Godfrey, we have Mina, Holgate. Keane, and Branthwaite, right back is more of a problem position.

Mina and Keane both not good enough, Holgate still learning, we had the same old chestnut when a midfield player got injured we have so many to step in, point is these guys that step in are simply not good enough mate.

This guy is never fit, that's why his club are trying to get rid of him. Really don't need another sick note player right now.

I don’t get this one either.
As Brassington says he spends more time injured than playing.
Disagree with guernsey regarding Keane - I think he’s our best centre half and has improved considerably this season.
Holgate in last 2 games we have played has made errors leading to goals - hopefully if he learns and develops him and Keane can develop into a good pairing.

Umtetti is a nonsense rumour imo. We have a lot of centre backs but a severe lack of quality on the right and right back. The problem area in the team is if richarlison or Calvert lewin get injured. The other issue is although we had a great window, gomes (jury. is out) is still coming back from a terrible injury and the other options off the bench in the spine of the team is the icelandic statue of liberty and davies.

Holgate and Mina not good enough, Keane has improved and Branthwaite still early days, Godfrey not been given an opportunity yet so an experienced CB is a must!

Holgate was one of our best players last season, certainly our best CB. He has only just played 2 games coming back from long injury. bit of realistic patience is required, needs to play self back into form.

Keane not good enough! Our best defender by a mile, certainly don’t need another central defender.
