spain shuts at midnight so no one in from spain tomorrow!

The Spanish window closes tonight, meaning Spanish clubs can no longer sign player, whereas British clubs can as the transfer window is open until Monday, because of the bank holiday. Once it close that's it I'm afraid.

Yeah but ed rest of Europe shuts tonight. I was thinking the same Robbie. If everywhere else shuts at midnight tonight then does that mean we would be left with only options from English and South American teams?

As long as our window is open we can sign from any country. The window closing doesn't stop you being allowed to sell to a club who's transfer window is still open

Hang on, so if Spain decided to scrap the transfer window Barca and Madrid would be free to buy players all year and those players would leave immediately not during the next window? Can't be right can it?

{Ed002's Note - Please stop posting on this subject - you clearly don't understand it at all.}

Charming Ed. Who dictates transfer windows? Leagues or Uefa or FIFA? Surely if it's leagues then the rule is useless as these days most transfers happen between different countries leagues. If it is FIFA it seems strange as they have no power over the premier league in any other way.
I was asking a question not in ignorance but to create discussion on this site. Why would a league stick to transfer windows if they can buy from other leagues that enforce them.
But i. Found your comment rude and disrespectful will use one of the countless other sites from now on.
