Just read that we have contacted Barcelona about signing Yerry Mina, possibly on loan. I would love for it to be true because we desperately need a big CB who is good in the air, but I’m afraid bigger clubs will be interested. Does anybody know if these reports are true or are they just more paper talk?

ED02 can I ask why we shouldn't hold our breath isn't this where brands comes in to sell the club to the player and if he chooses another club after that than fair enough but we have to at least try and see if we can buy him.

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any approach from Everton to his club and if Brands were to approach the player directly that would be illegal. Another side have already spoken with the player about his loan. I am not sure who has suggested this has happened.

As I explained earlier, Brands has been in London today.}

I'm not suggesting brands would make an illegal approach ED02 I'm just saying if an offer was acceptable by Barcelona would that then not be brands job to persuade him to join us and the story came from the Liverpool echo.

{Ed002's Note - But I am not aware of any approach from Everton at this time. There is every chance the player will turn down the club that reached agreement with Barcelona, but I suspect he will be looking for a loan that gives him Champions League football.}

Which is fair enough ED02 there are so many names being linked with us it's hard what to believe.
have you any updates regarding players meeting with Silva and brands since they came back into training regarding their futures.

{Ed002's Note - I would not know about players talking about their futures at Everton - the coach will talk to all players individually - the Director of Football would talk to them as a group.}

Was the discussion with another club what you were saying before with Fenerbache over Bolasie ed or was it with regards to incomings?

Heard Bolton have been offered LB ronbinson for 2 mil.

Yes Antonee Robinson, I thought the same about the money but i was told from someone who’s usually knows his stuff on Bolton. Just passing on the rumour I heard.

{Ed002's Note - Certainly Stuggart have spoken with Rennes about Ramy Bensebaini - who was a left back but has been used as a centre back by Rennes. I am not aware of Everton being "close" to signing him.}
