Gathering we will be bringing in a host of experienced players since the likes of warrington hunt and a load of other youngsters have been released by us this summer. not a great plan getting rid of are back up players even if SD doesn't believe they are good enough. are squad is wafer thin as it is. hope they know what they are doing ???.

Whilst it does seem that we are depleting the squad letting these players go, surely if they’re not going to make the step up to the first team which it appears to be the case as some are in their 20’s and haven’t done it yet then surely it makes financial sense to release them?
Even though not in massive wages, we need to make sure we trim the wage bill and every pound saved will help. For too long we’ve had players not good enough picking up wages.
Think Warrington going is the only real disappointment of the names mentioned as he featured on the bench several times and even had Dyche praising him, but we’ve got to trust Dyche and Thelwell know what they are doing to be letting them go.

Fairshout but I would sooner have someone to throw on for the last 10 minutes either because of an injury or just to get fresh legs on. but what do I know. should we scrap the youth team because SD ain't going to play any of them is he. that would save us a fortune ? only joking.

You've got to be fair to the players as well. If they aren't getting on the pitch then it's best to let them go when they get to a certain age for their own development.
It does also mean that some of the younger players are able to step up and we have some really good looking players that could be added to the 1st team squad.

It’s not saving money because we will have to bring in other young players to replace them.

What are we going to do have the U18 play in the U21's, the U10's play in the U18's?
Those gaps will have to be filled, otherwise what is the point of having an academy?
