Any chance of recruiting one of the pg tips chimps for our next manager, I've no doubt we already have the players to get us out of trouble, such a great shame we have a manager who has no plan b.

Bazwilefc

1.) To be fair the plan A isn't that good either.

2.) What is frustrating and downright disrespectful if I am honest is the deathly silence from our Chairman. He is experienced enough to know by now that the blips that happened under Moyes when he was trying to drag us into the top half regularly (and which he achieved) were just blips. What is happening under Roberto is not a blip as he has form. The only thing I can think of is that our finances are worse than I thought and BK cannot see a way out.

3.) I apologise for mistakenly stating our finances are in worse state than we thought, I was wrong.

Any news on a goalkeeper, that could be our achilles heel should Howard lose form or picks up an injury, could do a lot worse than petre chech on a free.

Yes i'm sure cech would happily reject first team champions league football with huge wages at monaco, real madrid, juventus or athletico madrid to play second choice at everton, this is one of those `in no way, shape or form do we have any chance of signing him type of scenarios

2.) Petr Cech is wanted by a host of clubs, he's far to good to be playing second fiddle

3.) Alex McCarthy (Reading) QPR have reportedly offered 2m for him. We can afford that can't we Ed?

{Ed025's Note - sure we can davey, thats if bobby wants him of course..

Money also comes from wages Ed regardless of transfers, before Moshi came, we would not be in the position to offer wages around the wages we are looking to pay to keep Lukaku or top players. Signing.

Money talks with players, and there was no way Bill would have paid the wage we are now offering Lukaku., not because he did not want to, but because he could not.

Regardless of Money, we now have the money to say no unless we get top dollar and we now sell when we want to and not have to.

{Ed002's Note - No money comes from wages - the club spends money on wages. You really don't seem to understand how this works at all - and what Mosiri money are you talking about?}

Spikes, does that mean sell Lukaku because he thinks he is better than he is. I got slated when I said Barry will be a great signing, giving experience and helping the youngsters.

If you want to challenge for the top, you need strength in debt, Hart will add that.

I do agree steak looks good in goal, only takes an injury and suddenly one of the most important areas is weakened.

Howard and Robles only needed a dip in form or injury and it's hard to cover, it's easier to cover outfield ares by slotting players in a different position, but you have to have backup in goal or you're stuffed.

I give you Neville Southall as a yardstick how important a goalkeeper is.

So for me I would take Joe Hart all day long.

What does it say about Del Boy if he cannot get on the Barcelona bench and has not one but a good half dozen players in front of him. He's done alright for Everton

Before Moshiris money we could only dream of getting Joe Hart, say what you like about Hart he is still a top class keeper and will add competition.

Bazwilefc

{Ed002's Note - What money is that. The money for transfers comes from sales and from club income. This has been explained over and over to you.}

I would screw utd 25 million for Fellaini and insist on bringing in little pea chiquerito as part of the deal,

Big difference being Everton offered 10 million for a player that cost wigan 3 million after add ons, Moyes offered less for Fellaini than what he bought him for. Everton waited til wigan won the cup and endd the season before they contacted whelan about Martinez and you will find Everton handled it chairman to chairman with and I quote Whelen saying Everton can talk to me for any players Martinez wants to take. Everton have not at any time tried to unsettle any wigan players like Moyes has done with Fellaini and Baines. Blame Whelen for making the McCarthy bid public.
