Lol oh the irony of the McCarthy bid does make me laugh, I posted on Friday u will bid but I never thought would bid so low! I mean come on £7m for a player rated at 16m by whelan and while at Wigan Martinez rated him at 20m and u bid 7m + add ons now that is insulting! what a club full of hypocrits u are!
But go on lads explain it away again, its not ure fault, its Moyes, o wonder how the Wigan fan fee about Roberto now? Probably no different because unlike most on here they respect wot their exmanager did for them!

7m for a player worth 5m isn't bad mate.

2.) 02 Sep 2013
CRT. some tabloids say we bid 10.5m, some say 7m. believe what you want. but what we can say is bob Martin ain't come out in public and said "Wigan should sell him. for the players sake". Nor did bob Martin have secret meetings with everton representatives months before he was given the everton job. crawl back under your rock. and don't come to a gun fight with a knife(courtesy of your new manager). concentrate in your window and not ours.jcl

If you are going to use big words like hypocrites to describe us, at least learn to spell it first.

4.) 02 Sep 2013
Daily mail reckons the bid was 12m CTR. so which one r u going to choose to believe. oh and neither club has made an official statement, nor public ally turned the players head. anything else u wish to discuss? Jcl

I believe he was actually planning on bringing a gun to this fight and not a knife, but the gun was 200 quid and he only offered 80! Typical united!

Big difference being Everton offered 10 million for a player that cost wigan 3 million after add ons, Moyes offered less for Fellaini than what he bought him for. Everton waited til wigan won the cup and endd the season before they contacted whelan about Martinez and you will find Everton handled it chairman to chairman with and I quote Whelen saying Everton can talk to me for any players Martinez wants to take. Everton have not at any time tried to unsettle any wigan players like Moyes has done with Fellaini and Baines. Blame Whelen for making the McCarthy bid public.

8.) 02 Sep 2013
How ignorant can you be CTR and other manc. DAVID MOYES VALUED Fellaini at £30m and bid half that, I haven't seen RM place a value on McCarthy then deliberately try to unsettle him by being a hypocrite.

Unlucky mate your own chairman has come out and said we tabled 12m and were 2m short, I suggest you get your facts right first before having your 50pence worth and enjoy the next 5 years in the championship
